A Special Memory Wedding Chapel

I got married here using the drive thru service. We didn’t even plan on using this chapel, but we came across it after getting our certificate from the clerk office and they offered a better price. They were all very nice, and very professional. I received my photos on the spot, on a CD. Since I have the CD I can add filters, crop, and print as many as I would like. We came here bright and early. It wasn’t busy yet, and we were in and out. I would’ve given them 5 stars but I think they should add to the drive thru service. An arch, or cover, something over the car would add a little something more to it. Your service is a little too open to the public/​traffic the way it is set up.
There’s a lot of negative reviews here. Not sure why to be honest. They didn’t try to cheat us, or make us pay more and we were comfortable. And we did receive our photos on the spot. We did not use their limo service because we had a brand new mustang that we preferred to use for our wedding experience.

This Chapel was the worst chapel ever! The lady with the accent is so rude! She has no customer service skills at all, she told the bride that they were ready to start so when we was lined up music going and walking down the aisle she rudely interrupted the service and yelled at the wedding party telling them «who told you to start» me being the maid of honor and wanting to take the stress away from bride I told her that” she never gave us directions and that you told us it was time to start”. If she would have went over what we was supposed to do before hand it would have went smoothly but it’s like she waited for something to happen so she could have a reason to be a bitch… as far as the photographer and the minister everything went well but as long as the the at the front desk with the accent is working there you will most definitely have a bad experience. Just because of her I can’t give this place any stars I would Not recommend this place anyone. Ok they are making put a star but I don’t believe they deserve one

I have such mixed feeling going 3 stars with this, not because I feel they were a necessarily a 5 star place, but one thing has left such a bad taste that it was tempting to go with 2 stars.
The short version is they can thank the Photo staff for a lower rating.
Background — I am not a newbie to the chapels. This was my 2^nd marriage here and I knew what to expect with the protocol of how the chapel experience worked. Armed with that, I knew what I wanted and more importantly what I DIDN’T want and had no problem communicating that. I didn’t have an elaborate plan, I just needed their space to accommodate a fairly large group (a big order in the tiny chapels here) and their minister to do the necessary task. My maid of honor and I personally visited so many chapels so we could check out the space as I know the pictures on the websites don’t always tell the whole story.
I booked a 730PM wedding for 10÷31÷15. I had a wedding party of 6 and was estimating 30+ guests. I booked the cheapest package. I was explicit that we would NOT be hanging out for pictures as I had booked a pre-​ceremony session with my own photographer at another location. I only needed what they took during the ceremony and would choose at a later time as I am local. I also paid extra to have the dvd/​internet video so that our parents on the east coast could view the ceremony the same day. I was assured that this could be loaded within minutes of the end of the ceremony. We discussed the photo/​video issue ad nauseum. There was NO misunderstand on my part. There should have been no question about this aspect of my ceremony for anyone.
We brought in our own flowers and they did allow us to switch out floral for champagne on my package. I also took care of the minister tip before the ceremony because I knew the drill. I didn’t want a hand or envelope in my face post-​ceremony. I also did not use the limo service as I live here and didn’t need it but nothing was offered in its place. I was ok with that.
The chapel — It was very clean. We were allowed to look at both chapels and chose the largest one as we felt it would be more comfortable for our guests and we liked the color scheme. It is definitely accurately represented in the pictures. I was able to bring my own music on a CD and they did play what I requested at the right times.
The staff — Maria booked my package. She was very friendly. I had to call to check the time and spoke to her again. Other than that, I had zero communication to or from the chapel until the day of my wedding. When we arrived, the groom was outside and I handed over the paperwork. No one asked to see an ID and no one asked to see him. I went over the deal about the pictures and video again and was assured it wouldn’t be a problem.
The minister — We had Pastor Jamie and I’d give her 5 stars for sure. I asked that she remove an entire passage she normally recites in civil ceremonies and replace it with the guest vows that I wrote. With a big smile she said yes. I have no idea how she did it so seamlessly, but it rolled out just as if it was part of her every day ceremony. Although it was a short ceremony, she did a great job and was very sincere, heartfelt, and kind. Well worth the tip.
The photographer — This is where it gets ugly. After being assured repeatedly he knew what I wanted, he still came to me and said I needed to fill out my order sheet. I said «No, that’s not what I planned. Ask the front desk.» His attitude was terrible. His whole body language said it all. I also found out that he was rude to the guests prior to the start of the ceremony.
I was handed a ceremony DVD, checked with the desk that I could order pictures later and went on my way. The photos are ‘ok’. There’s a few good ones, but more bad than good.
The ceremony being uploaded asap… that didn’t happen. In fact I had to call the next day and talk to two different people, one of which told me it would take 1 – 3 days. Funny, I saw other weddings from the same day whose were videos and/​or photos were loaded (including one after mine). After being transferred again and pointing that out, they were magically loaded within 30 minutes.
Overall the chapel was functional for what I needed but I would hesitate a full recommendation. Edited to add the fully used the 10 allotted business days to file the marriage certificate.

We booked our wedding here in July and paid in full with a girl named Ashley. We scheduled it for 7pm on October 31 and she promised extra rose in bouquet also. After we got home decided 7 was too early and also wanted to change color of flowers I originally chose. I emailed her after a few days I emailed again she finally responded and we got the final details worked out. On October 30 about 7pm someone from the wedding chapel called to confirm our 7pm wedding. We told them no we had moved it to 730 they said to bad already have someone for that time, mind you we sent invites out over a month ago for 730 wedding. She basically was not going to move anyone. I said you move someone now or refund my $immediately we booked way before anyone else check the dates and oh I can’t help it if you hire incompetent people who no longer work there. She said she’ll call back which she did and said we can do 745 which was better but still not the time we booked for. The limo was early and driver was great getting us there but then made us wait for ride back to hotel. Minister was ok until she handed us an envelope that said mandatory $ 60 – 100 when we were told it was suggested $ 60 tip not mandatory! !! The photographer took pictures and your package you pay for only includes ceremony pictures not the ones posed for after ceremony which are an additional charge$ 6 for a 4 – 6. Oh and they will charge couple $ 100 if anyone takes pictures in chapel. My bouquet was wrong color and no extra flower. Our music didn’t play, we didn’t get to make an entrance from the stairs as originally promised when we booked with them. So overall I would say only good thing is we are now husband and wife.

I’m writing this based on my experience as a guest of a wedding that was held here.
A Special Memory Wedding Chapel. It has a sweet name and conjures images of happy couples tying the knot in front of loved ones… who are prohibited from taking photos?
I attended my cousin’s wedding here with several family and friends. We were told that we were not allowed to take any photos or film during the ceremony, which is an absurd turd of a policy because they want you to use their photography services. Speaking of which, my cousin experienced issues with the fees associated with photography and live web streaming packages offered through the chapel.
Aside from those problems, the service ran smoothly and quickly — totally beats the 3-​hour Catholic weddings that I’ve attended. However, I wouldn’t recommend this chapel to anyone planning to get hitched in Vegas.

We were married there on July 1 2015 my partner and my self .They treated us with so much respect from the first phone call till the day it happened; they were just great .They explain everything in detail so no surprise would recommend them in a heartbeat plan to go there to renew our vows on July 1 2016

Got married here on 9÷13÷15. The staff, starting with the limo driver, the office staff, minister, photographer, were all great. Helpful and courteous.
The two stars is because I felt very misled by the online and in-​person information regarding video and photography. When I originally booked the package on the phone, I asked for the «additional» web posting of the video for the ceremony. I received the invoice a few days before my wedding, noticed it wasn’t on there, and thought, no problem, I’ll have it added when I get there, even though I should have been told that when I booked the package to begin with. I get there, and am told that no, in order to get the web posting, I have to purchase the DVD of the ceremony for $ 100, and THEN I’ll be able to add the $ 30 for the video to be uploaded online. I think, well never mind then, I’ll just use Periscope, and am then told, nope, no video or pictures in the chapel. So I’m stuck. We pay the $ 100 — they very kindly waive the $ 30 for the web post. Now I’m looking at my photos. I want to order the photo CD of all my photos for $ 160 and skip the 7 photo prints that are included in my package. I call, and am told, nope, the photo CD is $ 200, the price written on my order form is a lower price as an incentive for me to purchase it on the spot. I press the issue, then am told that if I mail in the order form, MAYBE they’ll honor the WRITTEN price — pending the photographer’s verification of the price given to me.

Went to a wedding over the weekend. Witnessed a mix up with a guest and the photographer. While the guest was talking to the photographer, trying to explain something, a blonde poked her head in (I’m guessing they have the chapels all on surveillance and decided to put her .02 in). The woman who worked there was pretty snotty towards the guest, making it known quite loudly that the couple getting married paid a good amount of money to have THEIR photographer there. The guest was told by the couple getting married that they wanted her there to take photos, so that was the mix up and they should have handled it a little better, letting her explain instead of being snotty towards her.
The ceremony itself was fast and beautiful.

I am so happy with the extraordinary service we received and would highly recommend A Special Memory Wedding Chapel to anyone getting married in Vegas. If you’re looking for fast, cheap, and non personal wedding, this is the spot. It’s just another 30 minutes wham bam thank you for the $$$, now get your party out of here so I can get the next couple married.
The ugly:
Seriously, the «planner» rushed everyone in, including the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Idk why he did that. He then wanted to «clear» the area. Ugh, it made no sense. Sooo disappointed with this place.
In my humble opinion, if your looking for a shitty McDonalds experience wedding, come here!

We have been married for 16yrs — got married at Treasure Island (back when it was still a cool pirate, skull & crossbones theme).
We were looking for somewhere nice and classy, yet simple and not super expensive to renew our vows. Our 9 year old really wanted to be a part of it, which they easily accommodated here for us. It was just the 3 of us, and they were sweet asking if our daughter wanted to sign on as our witness (she did). That in itself is an adorable keepsake!
Ceremony Cost: All the mainstream places, hotels and off the Strip, wanted WAY too much for something so simple. It would have been like getting married all over again, but way more expensive. Then I found this place online, and was really impressed by how much was provided and how much could be added on (if needed) for a very reasonable price.
Like the other reviewer said, that is not to say this is a cheap sleazy place to get married. It is the complete opposite! Once we looked inside the chapel, my husband was thrilled! It was elegant and practical, both adjectives he used to describe me (ha ha!). We were very happy with the setting, and the ceremony (direct, but meaningful). And the pictures came out very nice, too!
Staff: everyone treated us very nice. The lady who coordinated it all for me (Maria) by email, did a great job answering all of my questions as they came up, and getting all of the details locked into place long before we even traveled to NV.
Media Prices: I do agree with the other reviewer that the photo package prices need some work. Although Maria was able to work out a small discount for us (for getting both a DVD of the service and a CD of the pictures), it was still on the pricey side. Printed photo packages are a very outdated mode of media. This chapel would do well to update it with either a zip drive or a download code for a set price (not the high price they charge for a separate photo CD), with a CD also being an option, versus being the ONLY option outside of printed photos (which would be mailed to you? in 6 wks? say what?).
Limo: We really liked that the limo driver called us before he was on the way to pick us up. He was very professional, personable, and easygoing. We had a fun time and enjoyed the limo ride.
Minister: We enjoyed the service, especially as it contained some bible passages (about what Love is). The pacing was good, not rushed or super slow. And she seemed to enjoy her job of overseeing marital unions on a daily basis.
Photographer: He did a really nice job on the photos. We liked that he also included a few black & white pictures, too (classy). Our daughter can be very photogenic at times, and a few of the ones he did get of her are absolutely beautiful. We have some wonderful pictures to aww over now of our special day and time in Vegas. Love it!

Me and my now husband got married here on 5÷30÷15. I showed up a day before and paid the remaining balance for the wedding and saw the ceremony and dressing rooms.
The day of the driver showed up early and called to allow us to come down and arrive early to the chapel (which we liked a lot). We started about 5 mins late which they did not charge us extra for.
It was a little awkward that when we went to take photos inside of the chapel, they did not excuse the guests. It was super awkward taking our photos right in front of them.
The only reason I did not give them 5 stars was because of one of the workers and her attitude regarding the minister and limo driver fee. I specifically chose this chapel because they only RECOMMENDED that we give the minister a $ 60 fee and the limo driver $ 40. I liked that it wasn’t a required fee so that I could decide what I wanted to tip them depending on the service. While we were taking pictures one of the women from the chapel rudely interrupted my husband in the middle of pictures to tell him that we still needed to pay for our minister and our driver. She made it seem as though it was a required fee. I had planned on tipping them both the recommended fee because they did a good job but because of her attitude, I only tipped them both $ 20 each. She was super disrespectful towards our photos and she didn’t even take us to the side to discuss any further payment.
Besides that moment at the end I would say it was an amazing time. I would also ask them specific questions as to the payment of their driver and their minister. If they do require those fees they shouldn’t mention it to me over the phone and online as RECOMMENDATIONS.

Our experience was great until the end. Our wedding was on a Saturday 2015. We loved loved the photographer (forgot his name /​he had a piercing on his bottom lip) he was so fun, cool and took amazing photos) I would recommend him any day… probably will use him for other events.

All the staff was nice… location is nice and clean, limo driver was the sweetest person ever, loved that the officiant read a passage of the bible. Everything went well until the wedding had finished and my (now husband) informed me that we were charged an extra $ 100 for beeing 15 min late (not 1hr not 2hrs, 15min late).
1^st: we don’t mean to tell ppl how to do their job or run their businesses but you would think that if you are in the wedding business you would know that things happen before, during and after weddings. Im sure any bride would not ask for a $ 100 discount if her wedding was running 15 min late, if something went wrong or if something didnt go 100% as planned because Things Happen!
2^nd: I am not going to deny we where notified that we should be their on time but i don’t know if any other 1^st time bride can relate with me… when its the 1^st time you are getting married everything you do is new and will take you longer than what you think it will take because you have never done it before. So the fact that you get charged an extra $ 100 for 15 measly minutes that you are late seems mind boggling to me.
I personally was up by 7am the day of my wedding that was at 1pm and so i can tell you it wasn’t an issue about sleeping in or not planning things right. Especially beeing in Las Vegas you would think it was expected that some one can be 15 min late anywhere. Just traffic can make you be hrs late anywhere in las vegas.
To finish this long story lol if this wouldn’t have happened i would be giving this chaple 10 stars and would be recommending this chapple to the next 5 couples I know that will be getting married in las vegas this year. But i will not be recommending this chaple. I wouldn’t like any of them to be charged money for being 5 min late.
But i will definitely be recommending the limo driver and the photographer to everyone i know

Rude staff, made us feel incredibly unwelcomed. The woman at the front desk made it apparent to state, «They can go somewhere else.» And we did. To The Little White Chapel. We had an amazing experience. I’m so glad we ventured elsewhere.

You get what you pay for!
I looked around for a while. The first conversation with Aurora was great. All downhill after that. Here’s what was good: The limo was prompt and clean, the driver friendly and helpful. The flower arrangement was nice but the flowers slightly wilted. You do have a room to change in and the chapel is clean, charming and well decorated inside and out
The contest they advertise is bogus. They claim they give away a wedding package every other Tuesday. False. There is no list of winners and you can’t get one either if you request it. This speaks volumes as to the character of the people you will be dealing with.
They took 23 photos of our ceremony. Not ONE had a complete shot of my dress. The ones that were nice were only half us and half the ceiling or background. I kid you not. I measured a couple photos and from the middle up was the ceiling and exit sign. And others just rows of empty seats. Only one of me walking down the isle but it’s out of focus and I was looking away at a guest.
If you want your own photographers or guests to be able to take pictures, you have to pay $ 100. Although we were there with another party who took plenty of their own pictures during the ceremony and didn’t have to pay extra.
The quality of the DVD sucks. You can hear the «minister» and her coughing, but we are barely audible. Oh, and even though they have several «ministers» you don’t get to pick which one. If you do, it’s a $ 50 extra fee. We asked for a traditional, religious ceremony but didn’t get one. I also don’t understand how she (the «minister») could mess up so many times while reading off a script! The whole «they’ll spend 15 minutes with each the bride and groom before the wedding to go over the ceremony and preferences» line is a lie. She came in and asked me which script I wanted and left.
The ceremony lasted 5 minutes. We expected and preferred this. Short and sweet. We had the unity ceremony which she almost forgot. And she also didn’t read the entire unity script.
The next day I was called by Aurora and SCOLDED for tipping the «minister» $ 20 for my 5 minute ceremony that she coughed through and messed up on instead of $ 60. They hand you an envelope and write $ 60 tip for minister on it with your names just to be sure. If you want to bring an outside minister, they also charge you.
If I emailed questions to Aurora, she wouldn’t respond. And if she did, she’d leave off the attachments I was asking for like the terms and conditions and invoice. She’d resend the same blank email repeatedly. Once she finally did include the attachments, there was no apology.
Aurora was rude, belittled me and then complained that we didn’t pose for the «optional» photos. We had plans, people waiting on us and didn’t want any staged shots. It’s our wedding, it’s an option and we didn’t want to. So what?
When I saw the pictures on line I realized if I wanted decent prints, I’d have to order the CD and print them myself. Again, the photos are 50% or more background. Guess what? They don’t list a price. Why? Because it’s based on their attitude towards you. Aurora said she spoke to her manager, but she supposedly was the manager, and they would charge us $ 120 for a CD of 23 pictures and only 8 of them were usable. Again, you get what you pay for.
And they STILL haven’t submitted our certificate to the courts.
If you want it to be special and have a special memory of your big day, then don’t go here. Just don’t.

I fell in LOVE with Vegas my first time here and decided we wanted to be married in Vegas. I researched all sorts of chapels and venues for months and found a special memory chapel and it was like an oasis in the desert. We walked in and talked to a very helpful woman who suggested we get our marriage license now. I was very glad we did! We got our license in August and even though we weren’t scheduled to get married until November the license was still good and the process was smooth.
We had quite a large wedding and they took care of everything… minister, flowers, photos, dressing room, quick rehearsal everything. We were having wedding party issues the day of. One of my bridesmaids still had a sensor tag on her dress which the bass pro shop was kind enough to remove for her… however; this made us a little late for the limo. The driver was very nice and understanding about it.
We arrived at the chapel and I finished dressing and went through a quick rehearsal. My father and one of the groomsmen were trying to talk the people in the drive through out of getting married half jokingly. The staff was kind about this and laughed and turned them back to our wedding.
Our ceremony was beautiful and smooth. The pictures were a seamless process that arrived quick after our wedding. The chapel also set me up with the wedding room for our reception which was wonderful.
They were very good with communication and changes. I decided to add more flowers a few days prior and changes to my bouquet which they did a wonderful job at.
Everything went very smooth and they did a great job at accommodating our large group. Due to size limits due to fire code which I understand since my husband is in fire prevention we had more people at the reception than the ceremony.
It was a very pleasant experience and was not a cheesy Vegas wedding by any means. We wanted a very low hassle and classy wedding which is exactly what we got. The packages are very reasonable and while we went with a big package there is something there for everyone.
If you’re looking to get married in Vegas and want a nice, classy, hassle free experience this is the place. If you’re doing just 2 people or 75 people this is the place to go.

My husband moved here on a fiancé visa and we had to be married within 90 days. While we were planning a «real» wedding with family in the upcoming months, we needed something quick in terms of a civil ceremony. Because I love doing things «off the beaten path,» we opted for a drive-​thru wedding.
I had low expectations in terms of service. I simply expected fun and something different. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the staff makes things! My bouquet was lovely. The limo driver was friendly and great. Six of us rode in the limo and friends were able to be part of the ceremony. I felt the prices were very reasonable for the packages.
The only hang-​up I have is the primitive photo system. I got prints in lieu of jpegs online or a download somehow. One could order a CD which I recall being quite expensive. I’m stuck with useless prints when I’d rather have paid for a couple of jpegs to be downloaded.

a guy outside of marriage bureau offered us to give wedding ceremony at $ 45 at the chapel and told us the wedding is free if they charge a penny more. Israel even offered a limo back to our hotel after ceremony. They gave me a ride to the chapel and disappeared soon as i got off the car.
so. this is where fun story begins. you had to pay extra $ 65 on top of $ 45 to perform ceremony in the chapel. Limo? yeah right, they dropped us off at taxi stand.

We decided to get married in Las Vegas and stumbled onto A Special Memory’s site and I’m so glad we did. After looking through all of the wedding options on the site, we went forward with the helicopter ride. It was the easiest process you could imagine for a wedding! We literally called and after speaking to Aurora for about 10 minutes, we had our wedding booked.
Unfortunately on our way out to Vegas from Chicago, we were delayed due to our flight having «mechanical issues» and we weren’t able to make our wedding that Friday night as was planned. While waiting at the airport for our bags, we called to let A Special Memory know what was going on. Within about 10 minutes, the gentleman on the phone was able to move our whole wedding back a day to Saturday.
This was an amazing experience, the photos are beautiful (Brandy was our photographer — really sweet!), and I highly recommend this team to anybody looking to do something fun for their wedding.
