Airline Shuttle

This is an edited review after a huge mixup on my part. Walked out the door and he was at the curb, I had already printed the vouchers so I bypassed the check in booth. OK so eating my humble pie, apparently my slightly illerate friends had us at the wrong entrance. So after dealing with my anger and attitude from call center to dispatch to driver, I will be calling back to apologize. The service was exceptionally. They really did scramble around to correct the issue which was clearly a user error.

Do Not Use. They put people in 5 groups. Each group is waiting for a different shuttle. At least a 30 minute wait with shuttles coming once every 20 minutes or more. Overflowing shuttles. Worst system ever.

–Driver straight up asked for tip and didn’t give me change for my $ 10 bill because that’s the only cash I had on me. ⁰⁄₁₀. Fuck that dude. What a terrible way to start my Vegas trip.

Waited so long for the shuttle to pick us up. We were told to go to «station 1» the other stations were picked up twice before we were picked up. Next time it’s a taxi for this girl!

I need to remember to never use this service again! I waited forever for a bus. Respect yourself and take a cab!

I had a horrible experience last night waiting for the Airline Shuttle at the MGM Grand. My scheduled pick up time was for 6:10 but no one showed up until 6:40. I was also waiting there 15 minutes before my pick up time as the dispatcher recommended. I called several times to inquire about the status of the shuttle and was told that the driver was stuck in traffic and each time was told he was 5 minutes away. Another couple waiting for the same shuttle called several times and was told they were sending another driver. We know this is bullshit. When he arrived we observed his lackadaisical attitude — he was slow as molasses. He drove 10 mph less than the speed limit when we all told him we needed him to get us to the airport asap. When we arrived at the airport he just dropped us off without telling us where to go. All of us walked into the baggage claim side and wandered around looking for the ticket counters. By the way, we watched all of the other shuttle services come through the hotel every 5 – 10 minutes with drivers who were quick on their feet and willing to help.
Taking the Airline Shuttle will add unnecessary stress to your trip to the airport. It’s not worth it. Many other shuttles are competing hard for your business for the same price and willing to whisk you away and help you get where you’re going.

First and LAST time using this company, The ticket booth could have mentioned that the Vegas ²⁴⁄₇ book they give you with the receipt is what the driver scans. The driver had half the shuttle off the bus digging around in the back, moving others super heavy luggage to get this book.
Jose, the driver, has the customer service skills of a wet mop, Vegas is about 62 °F from weather that went through town, and Jose’s got the air conditioning going like it’s 100 °F in the shade. Seriously I’ve been coming to Las Vegas for over 20 years, never have I had to dig my bag off the shuttle at my destination or put up with anything like this before.
There was a sign on the bus mentioning that gratuities aren’t part of the fare but are welcomed and after this trip, Jose won’t be getting a tip from me, and I’m pretty liberal with the tips from a previous lifetime in the service industry.
Stand in the taxi line, take another established airport shuttle, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Shuttle was glacially slow. Waited in the heat for 45 minutes for the bus to even arrive. Find another alternative.

This was by far the worst shuttle experience ever. We were waiting for 30 minutes or a shuttle that never came. I took a taxi so I wouldn’t miss my flight. Then I called to request a refund and I’m going to have to mail in a form and they will «investigate it but nothing is guaranteed». We had foolishly paid round trip fare in advance in cash at the airport. Never again.

Dispatch lied and said that I was a no show. I was in front of my hotel 5 minutes early. I hope the refund process isn’t difficult.

The shuttle just did not come. Reservation was for 3:25 am, we were outside at 3 am waiting till 4 am. I called the reservation, operator said that we r in the wrong place. No, we was at the correct pick up place. 3 shuttles from other company’s picked up ppl from same stop. We happened to be almost late for plane and have to use taxi, will call my credit card company and ask for my money back.

I was always a big believer of taking a taxi to/​from McCarran, but after being long hauled a couple of times (even when I told them not to) I started to take shuttles with my wife. This past trip when we exited the baggage claim area we were presented with an «Airline Shuttle» kiosk so we decided to buy our tickets here. We paid $ 9/​person and were ushered to a numbered stand across the street where a woman loaded our luggage and we hopped on board. Within 5mins tops we were on our way to the Venetian with only one stop before us (Caesars Palace). Not too shabby as the last time we took a shuttle with another company we were hanging around for almost 30mins.
We didn’t buy a round-​trip ticket at the airport as I figured that we would just take a taxi to the airport (and I was getting ready to tell our taxi driver to not even think about long hauling us). Instead, I saw Airline Shuttle outside the Venetian so I asked the driver (Andy) if we could board. He said sure, $ 8/​person and he’d take us to the airport. We were in a completely full shuttle and Andy was great — he mentioned that he was Hungarian and along with blasting music the entire time («Come on everyone, you’re still in Vegas!») he gave us tips as to where we should go the next time. I gave him a $ 20 and he thanked me numerous times.
Taking a taxi can definitely be a quicker option (around the same price too) as long as the taxi driver doesn’t try to long haul you on the highway. We had a very positive experience with Airline Shuttle both to/​from the airport so they get a solid four stars from me and I would definitely use them again.

The woman who sold me my ticket was very nice, but she gave me poor directions to get to the actual pick-​up location. The shuttle pick up is on the west side of the airport across the street with black signs ranging from 1 – 7.

By the time I finally got to the stop, it ws 3:50. A shuttle didn’t arrive until 4:40. I was quoted a 20 minute wait. Yeah, I wasn’t too thrilled to wait 50 minutes when I could have used any of a number of the other services available.
Prices range from $ 9-​$ 10 depending on where you’re going. It’s a little cheaper if you book a round trip service.

Taxi rides from the airport to the strip may cost more than $ 40. I can not imagine how much a limo rides costs. So, why not take the airline shuttle, which costs $ 15 round trip or $ 9 one way to the strip. And guess what, it is Free99 for military or $ 2 off for spouses. The air conditioning of the shuttles blows coolish-​warm air instead of ice cold in the loving, dry, hot climate. However, if you have a friendly driver, who extemporizes jokes, you will enjoy the ride. Of course, you will have some wait times as the shuttle may stop at multiple hotels to and from the airport. Plan ahead. In the future, I definitely will use airline shuttle to save more money for gambling, clubs, pool parties, and booze.

Not a terrible experience but not great either. We didn’t have to wait very long for our trip to the hotel so that wasn’t bad. The problem was our return to the airport we waited outside FOR ONE HOUR. I wish I was exaggerating. We were told to be outside by 8:40pm for our red eye when we called to reschedule our trip. «Really that early?» Yea there’s other pick ups we were told. Fast forward to 9:55 when our shuttle showed up. We were about to call a cab because didn’t know if the shuttle was actually coming. We called the dispatch for an update where our shuttle was when they were 30 mins late and they hung up on us! Our driver was really nice and very apologetic because he wasn’t told to leave to pick us up till much later. He was confused as to why we’re were told 8:40 over the phone, so bad communication on their part. Won’t be using again.

Better than last time. They were helpful and answered quickly on the phone. They were able to update me as to where the shuttle was. I bought a round trip ticket.
I had to wait about 20 mins each time.
You only need the front page. They give you a huge booklet full of crap. It’s useless. Rip the first page and throw the rest on the recycling bin.

Too bad there is not a minus star. This is the most :

My experience was ok. The waiting game thing was annoying, but whatever we were there waaaay early. Good thing I did not have somewhere to be. Will be getting a cab next time if time is an issue, otherwise it was a pretty good deal, 15 bucks round trip !! and they were on time picking us up!

Really not ideal for groups as a cab would make more sense. As a group of 5 we had to wait several shuttles to leave the airport and they shuffled us onto a driver who normally didn’t have our stop. He was disgruntled about us being on his shuttle for the entire experience.
The driver who took us back was very prompt, nice and went all out to take short cuts to get us to the airport quickly. If I knew all the drivers were like him I would probably rate this higher. Next time I hope to encourage my party of 5 to get a van-​cab.

$ 8 dollars to get to your hotel on the strip, a bit more if you’re heading to downtown Vegas.
Did a one way this time and I have done a round trip before and on the return you really need to give yourself a lot of time since you are scheduling a pick up from your hotel back to the airport.
We waited 10 mins or so before leaving the airport to 6 different stops. Mine was stop #2 and it was okay, but I have been last stop and you only wished you would have used a taxi instead.
