Allowed Voice offers mobile communication and swallowing experts who apply the best available research to address disorders resulting from Neonatal Problems, Oral Anomalies, Neurological Disease, Psychiatric Disorder, Genetic Disorders and more in the comfort of the patients home, daycare or office. We use our expert clinical judgment while considering client preference and needs to address the areas of Orofacial Myology, Speech Sound Production, Resonance and Voice, Fluency, Receptive and Expressive Language and Cognition.
Orofacial Myology is the study of the facial muscles, their associated movements and how those movements affect the functions of respiration, swallowing, mastication, speech, craniofacial development and oral resting posture.
History
Established in 2009.
Allowed Voice was started by two local ladies. Alisha Verchick, MS, CCC/SLP and Rachell Rhein, RDH. Alisha and Rachell are sisters that share a passion for quality care in the health industry.

Business Owner
Alisha received her masters in Science in Clinical Speech Pathology from Northern Arizona University in 2007. She holds a Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and is licensed in the state of Nevada. Alisha has gained clinical experience in a variety of settings including Adult Rehab Programs, Preschool Programs, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health Care and the Public School System. She has worked with a diverse population including Autism, Down Syndrome, Mentally Disabled, Degenerative Disease and Mild to traumatic brain injuries.
