Exclusive One on One Dentistry, where the dentist is only attending to one patient as well as the hygienist, and we will not go from room to room. All the dental services will be done in this fashion. Before any dental work is done all fees are discussed with our patients in order to better inform and plan for their oral health.

What a great practice. :)
I went to my dentist for something like ten years and because I felt like he was pushing Invisalign on me every appointment, I did not want to go. It became like a car sales pitch! And I am not spending $ 7k on one tooth!
Dr. Athari was SOOO nice … Wow! He sat and went through every tooth with me… Whose dentist does that? Mine did not. He had equipment my dentist did not have and I loved it!
Coming back to get my fillings redone… I am kind of excited… weird huh?
Thank you Dr Athari and Unique (sp?) …super nice staff and very convenient.

I’m not sure how many people out there can honestly say for certain they love their dentist, but I’m willing to bet they are few and far between. I personally have never been more pleased with any healthcare provider than I am with Dr. Athari and happen to be one of those few!
A new patient after neglecting my oral care for some time, I found Dr. Athari through a combination of Unilocaling research along with the fact my boyfriend used to see him years ago and had good things to say. Because Dr. Athari sees only one patient at a time and doesn’t jump from room to room as what is traditionally done, you are not passed to a hygienist upon entering and spend your time solely with him. You can also rest assured your appointment time is at or within a few minutes of the time you’ve scheduled it for– both visits he was ready for me nearly on the dot of my appointment time. Who has ever heard of such a thing in the industry!
After having a standard cleaning and all four wisdom teeth extracted a few weeks later, I say with confidence you will not find another dentist in town both as thorough and gentle as Dr. Athari. I felt completely comfortable throughout a procedure no one ever looks forward to having due to Dr. Athari’s level of professionalism and care. In addition, I received follow up phone calls two days following my procedure to ensure my recovery was going smoothly. I am completely impressed and forever grateful for the care that was extended to me over the last few weeks. Definitely a patient for life! Thank you Dr. Athari!

I haven’t seen a dentist in a very long time and dreaded coming in after a piece of tooth broke off. Dr. Athari was incredible and explained everything thoroughly. Now we have a plan of action and I’m genuinely excited to finally get my teeth taken care of!
Also, make sure you ask about financing if you need a lot of work done like I did.

Fast & efficient office, no paperwork in the office, best and latest equipment, a caring dentist, he shows you before/​during/​after photos, and he follows-​up himself after a treatment, and most important of all he drills in a good hygiene habits by explaining long term benefits. What more can you ask for?
Great experience. I picked this office based on Unilocal reviews and I have to say that Dr. Athari is THE Best dentist ever!!! He is absolutely amazing!!! Very advanced equipment, x-​rays are a quick and easy! Dr. Athari is very honest and does not recommend procedures that are unnecessary. I wish I would have found him years ago, you leave his office knowing that you’ve got the best smile that you could have gotten. I was very impressed with his work. I appreciated that he took the time to explain everything. I’m planning to stay here for a long time. Fantastic choice for my family members and friends. Highly recommended. Did I mention that my wife and I both his patient? If we agree on anything it is that we have found the best dentist in town! :)

Just moved here from Chicago and needed to find a new dentist. My homework led me to Dr. Athari and I was especially impressed with the reviews and perfect 5 scores he received on Unilocal.I called and made an initial appointment for last Friday. All of the reviews were true, this guy is phenomenal! He is smart, caring, professional and highly committed to his patients, unlike any dentist I have ever been to. His exam was thorough and he explained everything in detail. He did my cleaning himself and there was no pain, no bleeding. He is meticulous and a stickler on cleanliness. But here’s the real kicker: he said that he would be calling me to follow up on my visit. Well I was pleased anyway so a follow up call for a routine cleaning really wasn’t necessary. But he called me ON SUNDAY to thank me for the business and asked if I had any questions or problems! He said he was looking forward to seeing me again in six months. I have never in my life had a dentist call me to follow up on anything, much less to thank me for a simple office visit and cleaning. And I never had any doctor print their cell phone number on their business card in case of emergency.
Don’t freak out at the decorating or lack thereof. He’s all steak and not much into sizzle. I am thrilled to have found him thanks to you fellow Unilocalers! And I am honored to add my 5 rating to his already impressive list.

I can’t say enough good things about Farshad Athari. He is absolutely without a doubt the best dentist you can go with in Southern Nevada. And every person I have sent to him has said the exact same. It baffles me how this guy can charge less than any other dentist I have received quotes from yet does 20x better work and operates on you one on one — no assistants there doing the majority of the work, only him. If I were allowed to publish only one review on Unilocal,this would be the one.

To say that Dr. Althari is the best dentist I have ever been to would be an understatement. Kind, professional, gentle, cautious, informative, funny… Dr. Althari is everything you want from a dentist and makes sure that you are completely comfortable before, during, and after your dental work. I was extremely impressed with the service and dental care given by Dr. Althari and his staff. If you’re looking for a new dentist, or are new to town, this is your guy!

Dr Athari is by far the best I have seen so far. Well, I’ve seen a couple dentists in the past and they were the ones who would go to one room to another. But Dr Athari is different. He takes up his time with you. Explain everything. Show you pictures and where the problems are. He stays with you and only you throughout your appointment. I didn’t feel rushed and I left his office with no questions or doubts about having the procedure done! I wasn’t a fan of dentists until I found Dr. Athari. His staff is just as excellent! They made my appointment and really worked with my schedule. Thank you Tiffany and Angelica! I live 20 miles from Dr. Athari’s office but driving all the way to him is super worth it! Can’t wait to go back for my procedure!

I had my first visit to this office today, for a routine cleaning. I was really impressed by the time I left. Dr. Athari schedules only one patient at a time, none of that hoping from room to room stuff. For the first time in my life the actual dentist cleaned my teeth! No worrying about over aggressive hygienist or hygienists that don’t get the job done well. It was — hands down– the best cleaning I’ve ever had!!! I can’t wait to go again. As I’ve aged I’ve developed some sensitive spots and he didn’t hurt me even once. My insurance covered the visit and there was no out of pocket expense. Honestly, I wouldn’t care if there was. I would pay top dollar to see him again. It’s been tough to find good health care providers here, but I am checking dentist off my list.

Such an amazing Dentist! Dr. Athari and his staff made what would otherwise be a very uncomfortable situation into a very relaxed and very ‘pleasant’ experience… pardon the pun. He was very thorough with explaining all options and procedures and made everything as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend him to any friend or family seeking dental services. Dr. Athari is amazing. I took my daughter there last week for a cleaning and to have one of her last baby teeth pulled out. The office personnel are very warm and inviting. You deal one on one with Dr. Athari. He will only take one patient at a time. I was very impressed that my daughter had his undivided attention the whole visit. He was so attentive to my daughter and put her at ease. Since the visit he has called and texted from his personal cell phone several times to inquire as to how my daughter is doing. Highly recommend this dentist! It’s a shame we can’t give more than 5 stars!

I am literally sitting in the parking lot after my first appointment and could not wait to write a review. He is by far the best dentist I have ever been to and quite honestly will more than likely increase my dental visits that I always know I need but that I am always always always putting off. His explanation of what he is going to do and what would make your teeth healthier for the future it’s just amazing. Spent so much time with me and it’s so one on one that is just an experience I have never had at a dental office before or even at any business I have ever frequented. Since we are in Vegas and I am a betting man I am willing to bet that there is no way you would not like him if you met him and allowed him to be your dentist.

Finally! A dental office I love! There is a reason Dr. Athari has all 5 star reviews. My husband and I both went to Pleasant Smiles, with seperate appointments. You are the only one in the waiting room, because you are the only one scheduled. Your teeth are actually examined and cleaned by the dentist himself, he doesn’t just do a 2 minute drive by when you’re done with a technician to say a generic, impersonal phrase on his way out. He is very thorough in his approach. My teeth looked perfect when I left, no more stains nor plaque between them, and there was no SCRAPING involved like at other offices I’ve been to. So easy, and painless, and as enjoyable as a dental appointment can be. My husband had all positive things to say after his appointment as well. Do yourself a favor, and end your search for an amazing dentist here.
Also, there are two TVs while you’re getting your cleaning, one in front of the chair, and one above you on the ceiling. I got to see the top 25 most exotic beaches, awesome :)

Dr. Athari is the only dentist for me. He is extremely professional, patient and gentle. His office is clean and his staff is friendly. You get his full attention the entire time you are in his office. He schedules one paitient at a time so his focus is on you 100%. He certainly isn’t out to provide you with dentistry you don’t need so no need to worry about any sales gimmicks. I am extremely pleased with the service he provides and I am so very happy he is my dentist.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Farshad Athari.
As a new patient in extreme pain I was so thankful that his helpful and friendly receptionist went out of her way to squeeze me in, just a few hours after I called in need of an immediate extraction.
The Dr of course tried to talk me out of losing the tooth, but he could tell I didn’t want to hear it (and though he was looking out for my best interests) he immediately backed off the typical root canal hard sell most dentists will give you and took the tooth out as I had asked without a long lecture about the value of saving the tooth.
He had very modern equipment with a camera attached to his head, enabling the HD monitor above the patient chair to provide a revealing look into your own mouth from the dentists perspective… very cool.
I would recommend him to anyone. He obviously knows (and seems to love) his craft, earning his degree at the prestigious Northwestern University. He takes pride in seeing one patient at a time so he can devote all of his attention to each patient individually.
His upscale office mirrors the high level of care provided and Dr. Athari’s quality shines through in this city full of questionable medical professionals who probably got their degrees online.

I love everything about Pleasant Smiles. From the décor to the smooth jazz playing. As soon as I walked thru the door Stephanie greeted me by name making feel right at home! This is not your ordinary dentist. If you want a very personable, professional dentist that takes the time to explain everything in super detail, you came to the right place.
The lady at the front desk is super sweet and helpful (sorry, I forgot her name), and just adds to the overall pleasant experience.
Dr Athari does all the X-​rays, cleanings and exams himself and talks you through every portion. He is very knowledgable and really takes his time with you as a patient. However, he is super quick with any portion that might be uncomfortable.
He also has all the new state of the art equipment, and takes before and after photos of your teeth to show you in detail what is going on in your mouth. It was so informative and pretty cool too.
After my appt, they give out a great goodie bag, and even called me the next day to check up on me.
I definitely found my new dentist.
