BluMarble is a repurposing company based in Las Vegas, NV. We collect glass liquor, beer and wine bottles from the largest casinos on the strip and upcycle them into unique glassware, vases, light fixtures, jewelry and much more! Blue Marble is a nickname for Earth, our mission is to repurpose for a better planet. Not only are we saving glass bottles from the largest landfill in the USA, but also we are collecting corks, wine boxes, pallets and many other post consumer materials. Cheers!

History

Established in 2013.

upcycled in the heart of las vegasBluMarble was co-​founded by Rachel Cohen & Jennifer Jordan. In 2013 they purchased the assets of a failing company and within just a few short months along with their new partners, were able to turn the company around to what you now see today. It started as a simple idea to collect as many bottles as possible from the Las Vegas strip and upcycle them into beautiful products for everyday use. What was once tossed aside and used up of all their worth, can now breathe a new life in a gorgeously, sustainable way

It all began with just a twinkle in the eyes of Jennifer Jordan and Rachel Cohen – professional repurposers who paired up in 2009 – and turned into an extended affair that resulted in the now-​worldwide love story that is BluMarble.

When I was there, there was only one person working. He was so kind and patient with myself and my family. Didn’t pressure us into buying anything and assisted us when we asked. He gave me a discount on a necklace I loved just because! There is everything from rings, candles and even light fixtures for you to buy!
Can’t wait to come back with more family and friends, seriously the best recycled jewelry place I have ever been.

I had Rachel make me a lamp out of an empty blantons bourbon bottle, and I will honest say she over delivered. I was expecting something simple and I got way more then i was expecting. She took the time and did a custom design and mounted the bottle on what looks like the side of a old bourbon barrel. It’s the talk of my bar.

Awesome concept and cute store. They get used alcohol bottles from casino’s and turn them into various items such as earrings, candles, glasses, spoon holders, etc. They can even custom make stuff out of your bottles if you bring them to the store. Maybe a bottle of wine from your wedding or something else memorable can be turned into a piece that you can use in your home. The only downside is everything was pretty pricey. I thought many of the earrings were super cute but they were $ 20 each.

BluMarble sells cute upcycled/​repurposed items using bottles of wine and beer from restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip! This is such a neat store! They get the empty bottles (15,000 a MONTH!) from the Strip and turn them into tumblers, spoon rests, shot glasses, lamps, etc which can be used for many years to come in places far far away.
LOCATION: Downtown Las Vegas in Container Park.
HOURS: Mon-​Thurs 11 – 9; Fri-​Sat 11 – 10; Sun 11 – 8
I ended up buying some items for a few of my wine and vodka loving friends, but if I had more room in my suitcase, I would have bought a whole lot more. Besides the up cycled items, they have some really cute accessories too, so check it out if your’e in the area. They do ship to Hawaii in flat rate boxes – you can order in the store and ship home, or you can order online from
and have it shipped to your front door. You can even take that special bottle from your birthday/​anniversary/​wedding etc to them and they will turn it into a new kitchen accessory.
A+ for giving these bottles a second chance.

Omg Blumarble is so amazing! I am absolutely in love with their candles and all of their glassware. It’s cool that their candles are made by Lemon West Candles and their very own glass cutting and engraving company. Their prices are so reasonable and all of their pieces are seriously one of a kind… I want to buy everything and give them away as gifts because of how unique everything is! I love my sapphire Bombay ring and my lemon west candles I have got from you guys!

This place is awesome — not only for the unique, cool recycled products they make&sell, but their customer service deserves 6 stars! I brought in the champagne bottle my fiancé and I had when we got engaged to have them turn it into a spoon rest for our new home. Well, said bottle had a paper label so they couldn’t melt the glass without compromising the label. They called me and told me their dilemma with it not wanting to compromise the bottle. I gave them permission to try to remove the label before shaping the glass, and they couldn’t without ripping it (understandable, I didn’t give them an Ace of Spades bottle or anything fancy) but since they couldn’t they didn’t charge me for the bottle! I thought that was so nice of them and felt bad for all the work they put into it and care in doing so, I insisted on paying. That and it was so reasonably priced anyway — but to me it’s priceless, even without the label :)

Such a wonderful company with great products! I bought the cutest repurposed necklace there for a friend as a gift. When I flew home the airport crushed my bag and broke nearly everything I had purchased (including the necklace). Jordan from BluMarble was very helpful in helping me purchase a new one and free shipping. GREAT customer service!

One of my highlights when going to the Downtown Container Park. Unique items including jewelry which my girlfriend purchased on our last visit. I like that you can bring in your own bottle and have them make tumblers or anything else for that matter. They do awesome work. It was quick and relatively inexpensive. They also have many different recycled bottles and other items for purchase. Katie was very friendly and helpful. My next project is a cigar ashtray from a Grey Goose vodka bottle. They call it a nut dish but it works both ways. Love the concept and this store. Highly recommend a visit when you are downtown.

What a great concept. Recycling otherwise trash liquor bottles into glasses and other unique jewelry items. We have several pieces and will be getting more. Love their slogan, «What happens in Vegas doesn’t have to stay in Vegas.» Waited on by Katie and very articulate and knowledgeable about recycling.

I give this place 5-​stars as their staff was very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They recycle liquor bottles, beer bottles, and corks to create very cool items! The prices are appropriate and great items for personal use as well as wonderful souvenirs. I didn’t get anything this time, but will next time as I am creating a gift list for friends. Definitely check this place out!

A very kewl store in downtown container park. Loved the idea and the concept of this store. Using empty alcohol bottles to make unique glasses and other items as such. They take custom orders which i am excited about. Next time around i am bringing in my collection of empty Vampire Vineyard bottles and having them made into something special :)
