History
Established in 1987.
As with most established businesses in Las Vegas, Charleston Antique Mall has a long and interesting history. Almost daily we get the opportunity to hear stories from customers who come to our current location to find treasures and share memories of previous visits and create new memories.
Las Vegas residents and visitors from out of town who have been shopping here for a long time will tell you that Charleston Antique Mall got its start as The Red Rooster in 1987. The Red Rooster was a two-story building on Western Avenue just east of Interstate 15. The building itself was reminiscent of an old barn and was filled with antique and collectible goodies waiting to be discovered.
Neighboring The Red Rooster was the old 7-Up Bottling factory building that had been built in the early 1950’s. Opportunity Village had purchased that building at 307 W. Charleston Blvd. in 1977 and sold it to a private owner in 1992. The Red Rooster was expanded into this building at that time
