I got a flyer on my door advertising this place with coupons. I placed a to go order and was treated great by the person on the phone. Upon pickup, I saw that the place was small but really clean. They had the order ready and were very friendly at the counter. The food is really good and very fresh tasting. Prices are really reasonable for the amount of food. The portions are very generous. I was able to get 3 meals out of my dinner. I would suggest giving it a try.

There are a lot of excellent Chinese restaurants in southwest Vegas, so it’s a bold move to open up a new one in the area. But Chun Fai definitely delivers! The vegetable egg foo young is fantastic, fried just right, and loaded up with tons of fresh veggies in a thick, delicious sauce. The vegetable chow mein likewise has big, yummy chunks of vegetables. The orange chicken is quite different from what most Chinese restaurants serve, but in a good way. The sauce is really a sauce, and not the sort of thick, luminescent glaze you usually find. Chunks of fresh orange are a big plus, too. I believe it’s the same recipe as Jacky Chan’s, which is somehow related to Chun Fai. On top of it all, the kids ordered boba drinks which were amazingly good. I highly recommend the strawberry flavor! The décor is simple and bright; nothing to write home about, but pleasant. There’s a large staff and they were very friendly. They came over plenty of times to check if we needed anything and did a good job of anticipating needs like a few extra napkins. The service was fast, too. The prices are quite reasonable, too; definitely on the cheaper side of the area average. I can’t wait to go back!

I LITERALLY live 3 blocks away so I come here quite often, on my way home I figured I’d stop for lunch. Every employee is different and I thought well maybe it their parents(it’s usually younger people working) but no. I overheard the man behind the counter tell another customer they’re the new owners as of last week. Not very personable. Quickly rushed me to a table and came back soon after to take my order. There’s about 8 people in back(kitchen area) talking, laughing, visiting very loudly.(not very professional) Didn’t bring me a fork. Or spoon, napkin or knife for that mater. Rice was burnt and the lunch portions seemed much smaller. I won’t be back

This place is by far the best Chinese food delivery. If you want to have a sit down quality style Chinese food to be delivered to your home… This is the spot! No lie! Plus if you order over $ 32, you get a free full order of shrimp fried rice! Yea shrimp! A++++

I ordered for delivery. Both the lady on the phone and the young driver who came were very nice. I can’t say anything bad about them. But that’s where it ends. I ordered a bowl of war won ton soup, some rice, and some crispy noodles. I noticed they are one of the only places I know that still uses the thin, store-bought crispy noodles instead of frying up their own egg noodles. Not awesome. But okay. I’ll deal. The rice was fine. It’s hard to mess up steamed rice. But the soup. The only thing I would have hoped was good. The broth tasted like nothing. Bland. The chicken tastes the same. Then the pork and the shrimp. No matter what it was, it didn’t taste any different from anything else in the soup. The wonton tasted like wet cardboard. None of it had taste(save for cardboard). It was some of the worst soup I’ve ever had. So unfortunately, though they were very nice… I won’t be ordering from here or going here – because if they can’t even make a good broth, I’m pretty sure the rest of their food isn’t seasoned either. Sad. I was really hoping. Update: so I wasn’t going to mention that at first, they forgot my can Sprite that I had to buy to make the order minimum. But now… So the driver came back. But not with the can I was told I would get – a styrofoam cup with lid and he said«the lid isn’t tight so be careful.» Uh. Ok. It said can on the receipt. But whatever. So I put it down. I go to pick it up. Not by the lid. But by the middle of the cup and the bottom of the cup breaks open and Sprite is all over my couch and floor. So not only did I not drink it. But now I get to clean it up when the entire reason for ordering soup was that I’ve had stomach issues the past few days and have felt nauseous and crappy. But now I get to bend over and scrub and then mop my floor. Yippee. What kind of absolute crap styrofoam cups do they use? And why didn’t I get the can I was told I would get anyway?

I had a wonderful first experience with this restaurant last year but the food has definitely gone downhill. I read the recent bad reviews and should have thought twice before coming here for lunch. I had the orange chicken lunch special and it was bad… real bad. The breading came right off the chicken and got more pieces of large oranges than chicken. The only thing that is giving this place two stars instead of one was the lady at the cash register was friendly.

«I like Chinese fooooood… the waiters never are ruuuuuude» Not always the case, but they were friendly here. It’s really more 3.5 stars. From the outside, it looks like one of those steam table fast food Chinese takeout places, while in reality, they make the orders fresh. I got a combo plate with the general chicken. My entire meal was enjoyable, but I’m not sure if I would make this a «go-to» restaurant.

Bland! The shrimp in the fried rice taste boiled. The spare ribs were ok. I’m really disappointed that the rice has absolutely no taste. I won’t order from them again. I will give them a thumbs up on the food being hot, but the taste was lacking. I definitely should have read the bad reviews first. If I hadn’t of been in a hurry I would have taken this back. The people giving the good reviews must like bland, tasteless food. The people working there were nice, but they need to invest in some seasoning and maybe a new cook.

We ordered delivery from this place last week through eat24 and delivery was supposed to take 45 – 60 minutes. After over an hour I had to call them to see if the food was still on its way. She stated that the delivery had already left their place and was en route. It took a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes for the food to get to us. Longest I’ve ever waited for delivery ever and we only live one mile away from this place! Then when we did get the food it was missing several items. Our soup was missing, our bottled waters were missing, no utensils, napkins or plates either, which I specifically requested. We just moved into a new house and had nothing to eat with. Just ridiculous. I tried running out to flag down the delivery driver but he was too busy looking at his phone to see me next to his car. I called them back immediately to ask about the missing items we ordered and they had someone come out to deliver them but again they forgot our chopsticks, plates and napkins. I ended up finding some utensils and using our own. The guy that delivered some of the missing items was apologetic though and said they were having a really busy night. I did appreciate the apology. The food in itself was okay. The orange chicken was soggy and lacked flavor. The moo goo gai pan had good flavor though. Lots of chicken and lots of fresh vegetables. Overall, the delivery experience pretty much ruined the meal. It made us run late for our other plans for the night and it was just beyond frustrating.

I am so confused that this place has an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars! I ordered delivery last night and it was by far the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten! I got the Mongolian Beef, Sesame Chicken and Scallops with snow peas… I thought I would have leftovers for days but pretty much everything went straight in the trash. I ordered everything as «spicy» and there was no spice at all. Thats ok… but everything that actually had taste… tasted really bad. The scallops were the reason I tried this place… I usually order from China A Go Go… which is mediocre at best, but always satisfying. They dont have scallops though so I thought I would try something new… sadly I spit out my first bite of scallops and threw everything away If not even 1 of 3 dishes was edible you’ve got serious problems… I will never eat here again

We were in the area and wanted to try somewhere new for dinner. Our choices were Chinese food, Subway and Dairy Queen. As much as I love Chinese food, it always seems to be hit or miss. But we decided to give them a try anyway. We were the only ones who dined in, but a lot of other people stopped in to order take out. Service was very friendly and attentive. Our server made a few good recommendations. I decided to go with the Combination Plate and chose Beef Broccoli as my entrée. Kind of hard to screw up Beef Broccoli, but the beef was full of flavor and most of the broccoli was easy to eat. It also came with: –Egg Drop Soup: good flavor. It wasn’t too bland or too salty. –Crab Rangoon: did not like because I hate onions. –Egg Roll: average, but not horrible. I have definitely had better. –Chicken Fried Rice: flavorful and not too oily. I appreciate that they made it without onions per my request. –Sweet and Sour Chicken: I was never really a fan of this, but liked it better than the crab rangoon. The Combination Plate was $ 9.95, but I had enough leftovers for another meal since the portions were huge. I don’t like boba, but I do like the drinks. I ordered the Strawberry slush without the boba. It wasn’t the greatest, but that was expected since I already have my go to spot for boba drinks(without boba) LOL. My husband ordered the Combination Fried Rice. He said it was average — not amazing, but it definitely made him full. I think I would definitely come back to try other things on their menu for take out. Unlike Panda Express, the food is made to order. Customer service was great, the restaurant was clean and parking was not problem. Next time, to avoid getting something I don’t care for, I will order a la carte!

This place is literally right next to our house. I ordered dinner here last night thru Eat24. It was so convenient and fast. However, I was informed later on when I picked up my order that if I order online, I am not eligible to get the(FREE) appetizers since there was no way I can tell them if I would like crab rangoons or spring rolls. They said if I called I can specify it. That was a bummer but I wish that would not always be the case. I’m thinking next time I would write that down at the«Special Instructions» section when checking out. They were very nice about and said that if I am willing to wait they can still get give it to me. I declined and said that it was totally okay. I’ll get my rangoons next time! The food was decent and the portions are generous. Definitely a good Chinese place.

We normally goto China Ginger near trop and ft apache but they are now permanently closed. I’ve been to this restaurant twice right when they first opened and it’s been awhile since we’ve been back over here. So tonight we didn’t have much of a choice. Prices are good, nothing was missing. Food looked and tasted GREAT! I would agree that it’s maybe a little bland but to each their own and that’s ok because at least they’re not salty. I’m ok with adding my own hot mustard, chili sauce or soy sauce to my own food once I’m home. So I have no complaints there. Their soup however I do agree with others that it doesn’t have a lot of chicken flavor and it’s lacking in ingredients, it was mainly broth. All in all I was VERY happy and loved the food and will come back. Oh and they were very friendly taking my order and showing me the order when it was ready. Thank You!

I was in search of a new Chinese restaurant. I haven’t been out for Chinese in months following a forced renovation of the place I frequented — don’t ask you’ll have nightmares for months. So, I went to Chun Fai. The restaurant was very clean. The staff members were extremely friendly. In fact, they were so friendly and the customer service was so amazing that I actually put a tip in their jar before leaving with my to-go order. I mean, they separated the sauce from my chicken egg foo young so the egg foo young would stay crispy until I got home and gave me a ton of sauces, napkins, etc. I was super impressed! It is therefore with a heavy heart that I must say that I didn’t love the food as much as I enjoyed the customer service experience. The food was very bland. I am pretty sure they don’t own any spices. Then, it ran through me(this is where I leave details out that I know you don’t want to hear) … my stomach was still hurting the next day. I am back to square one. I won’t come here again. Two stars only because they are so nice. One star for the quality of the food.

I ordered the Beef and Broccoli, and the sweet and sour pork(lunch) and the Thai Tea boba. The sweet and sour pork was perfect, crispy with a great sauce. The beef and broccoli was not the best. The sauce needed more seasoning and the beef was soft, not chewy.(weird) The lunch portions are perfect for $ 6, the delivery was on time and the delivery guy was SUPER nice! So I’ll order here again, I just won’t order the beef and broccoli. (also, idk why but they automatically give you brown rice and didn’t give me the option to choose white on the Eat 24 app) So request white rice just in case.

I am completely obsessed with Korean fried honey glazed soy pork chops. I’m also hapoy to report that this little eatery makes excellent Chinese and American Chinese cuisine. When the cooks are yelling in Chinese, I get excited. The food is worth the trip. You guys have to come here. Seriously. The pork chops and honey walnut shrimp was great. Can’t eat to eat here more often. The seating is open and there’s delivery nearby! I’m so happy great Chinese food is FINALLY in our area.

Ok this place use to be Pumi Chinese food and that place was the bomb and when they changes owners and name to this Chung Fai place I wanted to see if they were still good. I did and it wasn’t. Yes the inside was remodeled and it looks different and not as dark but really it makes me so sad that Chinese people can’t get Chinese food right. I ordered the lunch specials for myself and my wife and I get it you get what you pay for but there are places that you get a great deal and great food but not here. If you are from the SW part of Vegas and have been to Jackie Chan Chinese fast food on Durango and Blue Diamond, then this place seems exactly the same. From the menu to the food. The food: The fried rice that came with the meal had absolutely no flavor just looked like colored rice. The sweet and sour chicken tasted like jolly rancher flavor chicken. Sauce was all wrong! The Kung Pao chicken and the Mongolian beef is the two dish my wife and I gets everywhere we go because we are always in search of good Kung Pao Chicken and Mongolian Beef and this place was a HUGE disappointment. Mongolian beef was done so weird it didn’t look or taste anything like Mongolian beef and the Kung Pao Chicken… I would have gotten better Kung Pao from the freezer at a grocery store. The soup sucked the eggrolls… I freaking love eggrolls and then I had these now I HATE Eggrolls. Ugh major fail will never come back. I’ll spend my money else where the only reasons they are getting a one star is because the service person was so nice and the Honey Dew Boba was ok a little sweet but ok. But then again I’m not here for that I’m here for the food and the food was no good! Sorry but if you want good fast Chinese food keep driving.

Very reasonably priced food. Try the Combo plates you get so much with it for $ 9.75! We spent over $ 20 so we decided for the free item Crab Rangoons was best. Right down the street from the back gate of Rhodes Ranch where we live. Loved the service. My orange chicken had slices of orange. I’m so stuffed and lunch.

The majority of Chinese restaurants in my proximity had bad reviews. I was starting to think that I’d never find a good Chinese restaurant to order from. I received a flyer for Chun Fai in my mail box so I decided to check them out online. I was pleasantly surprised to see good reviews so I called and placed my order. The girl on the phone was very friendly and polite, she told me delivery would be 45 minutes, and took my card info to run my card. Items ordered: –Broccoli Beef($ 8.75) –Vegetable chow mein($ 6.50) –Crab rangoons(Free w/order) My food was delivered in under 45 minutes and the delivery driver was really nice. There is a $ 2 fee for delivery, so my order came in at under $ 18 which wasn’t bad at all. The broccoli beef came with a small order of white rice. Portions were big, it was enough to feed my two boys and myself, we still had leftovers for the next day. All the food was pretty good, I really enjoyed the chow mein, it had tons of veggies in it. The broccoli beef has carrots in it and the sauce it was in had a good flavor to it. The white rice was plain but did come with soy sauce. Two fortune cookies were included in my order. Overall, I was really pleased. Portions and price are great, employees are friendly, delivery is fast, food is good. I’ll definitely continue ordering from Chun Fai whenever I want good Chinese food without having to drive.
