Copper Creek Apartments

Some of the staff is so rude and makes me feel uncomfortable when i go to the office in need of something. Yesterday a man from managment came to my door and was pounding on my door because i had some stuff outside, i was not aware that we arent allowed to keep stuff outside but the way he approached me about the issue was so unproffesional and RUDE. They have also been adding extra charges to my rent and i am definetley getting a lawyer, still stuck on a 2 year contract, but will make sure i get back my money that they have just taken out of my bank even when my rent was paid on time! Be very carefull when considering where you move and for how long. Dont get me wrong the apts are beautiful but having to deal with the staff is really what makes me hate living there

The leasing manager Vanessa was a pleasure to work with in my short stay in Copper Creek. She was always extremely friendly and efficient in assisting me in what ever matter was at hand. I am very grateful for her!

My husband and I came to view this apartment… I totally loved it, it was everything my husband and i was looking for. A lady named India helped us and she was very nice and patient because iam in my last month of pregnancy and move around a little slow lol… so i really appreciated that. Its very nice, clean, and quiet.

We came in from New York looking for a home. We stayed at Copper Creek Apartments. We stayed in a furnished apartment. It was very clean and had everything you needed. The staff there very nice and pleasant, especially Vanessa Taucer. She helped us from the beginning and made it less stressful to move. The place is beautiful it has it two pools, two gyms. I highly recommend it. I will miss staying there.

Absolutely terrible apartment complex and even worse property management staff. Would advise not to live here. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this complex!!!
Safety concerns: the exit gate is left wide open most of the time, so random people always driving recklessly through the exit gate coming into the complex.
A resident was murdered in her unit here at Copper Creek about a year ago. My unit previously looks like it had the door kicked in for a robbery, and the repair they did to the door frame is absolutely terrible. See pictures. Scary. Luckily my boyfriend worked from home at the time, so he was always home.
Free Wifi?: yeah right. So spotty and slow it’s pointless.
Poor construction: super thin, inefficient windows that look like they are 20 years old, with window screens that don’t close fully. (See photos) paper thin walls, so expect to hear everything (listen to video) from your neighbors opening and closing their doors to talking and walking around. You hear and feel everything!
Noise: goes along with the poor construction and since this complex is on busy and straight streets (Bermuda/​serene), you will definitely hear traffic that sounds like some sort of street racing going on on Bermuda all the time. Super loud, will actually wake you in the middle of the night.
Inconsistent service: clubhouse will be randomly closed during normal business hours with explanation. Clubhouse tries to throw parties here and there for their residents but nobody shows and they always seem to be cancelled. Maybe your residents will actually show up if you don’t give them a reason to hate you.
Old appliances: rusted drains, old stove top and fridge. Just terrible and old. (See photos)
Parking is an absolute nightmare. All my neighbors that I talked to when I lived there had their car or someone they know have their car towed by the contracted towing company. And all the people who were towed were residents. Who does that?
The only reason we lived there was because my bf and I had 3 days to find a place to live at the time, and copper creek was the only place with move in availability.
Again. Stay away. Terrible property and even worse management.

MARY: I did not receive a call from you or a voice-​mail from you I left two numbers with your «bookkeeper» Deana who again when I asked to repeat my number did not so either she took my numbers down wrong or didn’t take them down at all. Weird how you can comment back on Unilocal but when I call your office you busy or out to lunch and I’ve been calling 11:00 am this morning. I just called the leasing office again and spoke with India who again said you were unavailable but I had he actually repeat the number so hopefully I can actually receive a call back from you.
Moving into the copper creek apartments has been one of the worst experience with living somewhere ever, especially the moving out process .The paperwork I received said I didn’t have to be present for the walk through. I hadn’t heard anything back from them I called and spoke with Amanda she is one of the people who do the walk through she said she didn’t do the inspection because I wasn’t there i pointed out that it says I didn’t have to be there she argued with me about it. I was also upset because my lease if up on the 15 but when I signed the paperwork saying i wasnt renewing my lease the s who helped us said that as long as we schedule the walk through a week before we leave we can leave whenever we want. I scheduled it for the first since i am not living there anymore. They are trying to charge me a prorated amount for the 15^th even though the lady in the leasing office said i wouldnt be charged if i scheduled the walk through for the first. i asked to speak with the manager Mary the lady I spoke with said she wasn’t available and she could help me because she was the «bookkeeper» then she proceeded to interrupt me everytime I tried to speak and I asked her to leave my number for Mary to call me back at she refused to repeat the number back to me and hung up. I really really do not recommend moving here there are so many other issues then just the moving out process!

Very nice place. I was looking for temporary, fully furnished homes and my place is very, very nice. It’s very welcoming and has all the basic necessities you’d have in your own place. The staff is helpful in general although I dealt more with Vanessa who actually suggested the unit I am in. People have different experiences but I’m quite happy with my arrangement.

Beware that management will NOT replace your parking pass, but still charge you $ 150 when you move out. In this gated complex, street parking isn’t available, just guest parking and it’s an inconvenience because you have to park further away from your apartment. My lease specified a lost parking pass was $ 50, then in the middle of the lease, management decided to switch from a sticker permit to something you hang on your rearview mirror and made us sign an addendum to the lease that increased the cost to $ 150 and also stated they would not replace it. I really think they could come up with a better system to regulate parking, but at this apartment complex we get violation stickers on our car windows and in some cases towed.

Moving is one of the most stressful things in the world. The management at Copper Creek helped relieve this stress by showing me home. As soon as I walked into the leasing office I was amazed by how artistic of a design the clubhouse has. Beautiful pictures, sculptures, & lighting. Very welcoming. There is Starbucks coffee brewed for residents and guests when you first walk in. I feel that is just a friendly gesture and the management does a great job of keeping the office maintained and gorgeous.
I love painting and I have gotten a lot of inspiration from the actual structures within our apartment community. My favorite thing to do it sit near by the waterfall into the pool and look up at the moon. Everything that surrounds my view of the moon is beautiful; the palm trees, the sound of the waterfall, the view of a little mini beach, and a well lit leasing office full of art underneath. I can’t help but stand by the office window and view all the beautiful design ideas. Whats even better is that when I invite guest they all agree that it is one of the most beautiful apartment communities in the area.
I absolutely love my apartment! I have faux wood floors through the entire unit. It is such a great light color that goes with everything and is easy to clean. The lighting fixtures were are the nicest I have ever seen in an apartment. I appreciate that there is lighted fans in all the bedrooms.
I feel that the fans helped keep the electric bill down. I was in a smaller unit somewhere else and my electric bill was $ 40+ every month due to be drafty. My apartment here with Copper Creek is well sealed and insulated.
Maintenance is very friendly. When I do put an order in a very friendly person calls to confirm the order to make sure they have permission to enter. Fast and friendly service is good service.
I have friendly neighbors. Great parking. Most importantly I feel safe. Most friends come over and tell me there is an unmarked police car outside and I have to tell them that is my security. I know no one is going to do something crazy in front of a security guard that looks like police officer.
I leave this with; this has been my favorite apartment out 5 I have lived in the area.

From day one, I’ve had nothing but positive communication and support from the facilities and management of Copper Creek. Mary and her staff have always been available to discuss my concerns or policies and issues among the complex, and my views have always been heard. Maintenance and repairs have always been prompt and non-​intrusive. And my privacy it’s always respected. Have I agreed with every policy or notice of infraction? No, but reality and life rarely give you everything you want. Rules and regulations are fair and equitable, and are clearly explained. The policies that others have complained about are not unreasonable and communication to tenants is far superior to any apartment/​condo I’ve ever lived in. There is always someone available to talk with, so anyone complaining isn’t trying. There is a sense of community and family at Copper Creek and there are always events and activities for individuals and families to become involved and to be connected to neighbors. You’d be hard pressed to find another apartment complex that has a Manager as open and caring as Mary. And the positive changes she’s heading up are only improving the safety of her tenants and the quality of the complex. Very happy to be living here.

I relocated to the Las Vegas area a few months ago by way of SoCal (Los Angeles) and landed here at The Copper Creek Apartments. The first person I spoke with was Vanessa Taucer who leased me the apartment. She conducted a thorough needs assessment and found me the perfect living quarters. The Copper Creek community is very friendly. Neighbors speak and introduce themselves; lotsa people from all over the country; in addition, you may find very friendly residents around the club house. The office professionals are FANTASTIC.
Being new to town, Vanessa ensured I was familiar was local venues and outdoorsy activities that spoke to my lifestyle. Any maintenance requests I have submitted are promptly addressed with a gracious follow-​up. They also have an amazing and convenient payment portal for the residents to easily transmit rent which is an A++++ for me (as my career constantly has me on the road. I am an enthusiastically satisfied resident.
The amenities are fantastic enjoy a great: GYM (24hours) pool, hot tub, rec room, gated community, car port with unit, on-​campus security, yoga, Business Center and much much more. The only thing that underwhelms me in the community is the advertised on-​campus Wi-​Fi, its VERY spotty and not much bandwidth… but what the heck, its an awesome community. If you contact them, ask for Vanessa Taucer she’ll ensure you are placed in the right space… she’s cute and awesome!

They suck! I moved in and I had 2 weeks of maintenance work done before I can actually say I was moved in. When I was signing my lease, everyone at the office was nice but once I became a resident, I would walk in and they’d give me an «Oh you!» look. This whole new payment method is just frustrating. When I asked about it, the lady on the phone made me sound like I was mentally challenged and just said «just follow what it says on the website! It’s easy!» Not renewing my lease!

would you REALLY like to discuss my concerns Mary?! I just find it a little ironic that my car gets towed today! today! of all days! the very same day that you comment back to my negative Unilocal review! so infuriating that an apartment community would tow their own residence. cannot even begin to express my frustration ! I would absolutely love a meeting with you.

Like everyone is saying– wish I could give it negative stars. Living here was truly a nightmare. Unsafe, way overpriced. Maintenance was horrible, had to call maintenance day one because our sink was flooding and after that we were calling maintenance monthly. Even though maintenance would swing by, the problems typically weren’t fully resolved. I complained about our neighbor multiple times (loud music and drug use in the parking lot) and nothing was ever done and when it was brought to the managers attention she said there were no records of our complaints. I never saw security anywhere, if you had an issue you had to call them and wait for them to get there. Gate is always open. Icing on the cake– our apt was broken into with a crowbar and we got robbed. Stay away! PS My friend lives at the apts down the st, pays hundreds of dollars less, and has none of these issues.

Update;
If I could go negative stars I would. 3÷16÷15 they have a walk thru to check on apartments. I am very OK with this. However, they turn on an alarm that is ear piercing and won’t turn it off until every single apartment was checked in the building. My 16 month old was freaking out. The maintenance is RUDE as hell too. Also I just got my carpets scrubbed and he walks in here all over my carpet with dirty ass boots. What a joke this place is. I URGE you to save your money. For 1k/​mo you can get a nice place — not here!
I made the mistake, don’t make it as well!

This is my first Unilocal review, and only because I have never been so dissatisfied with a company. I wish I hadn’t made the decision to live here. My car was towed today. It had the sticker in the window that allowed for covered parking but since my registration had lapsed a month, and I hadn’t moved it in 24 hours, it was towed. I understand it is my responsibility to take care of the registration, but I have been unable to afford to pay it, and now I won’t be able to afford to pay to get my car back, which means that my method of getting to work has been impaired. My car was registered with the office so a simple phone call to me could have saved me hundreds of dollars and them a bad Unilocal review. On top of that, I had a sinus infection and stayed home sick so when I was able to go to work the car was gone.
The appliances are cheap and ugly, the paint job is shoddy and covers up half the sockets in the kitchen. My door to my bedroom will not close unless I slam it. The office personnel have either been incredibly unhelpful or have ignored me when I’ve gone in to pay rent. (To be fair, I was able to have a late fee waived by one office girl, but only because I was able to prove that I had come in 3 days in a row to pay my rent but got poor information each time that led to the increasing late fees) My neighbors play ridiculously loud music at crazy hours. Oh, and I’m still finding blonde hairs everywhere in my room (I have black hair).
In general, they are a money grubbing company that is quick to enforce anything that is to their financial benefit. There are many things I will tolerate, but taking my car away, my means of transportation to get to my job was the last straw. On a side note, they did the same thing to my roommate who makes even less than I do, so we’re both struggling right now. I will not renew my lease and I discourage anyone from living here.

If I could I would give this place no stars. The owner of the property doesn’t care about the safety of his tenants at all. They had multiple robberies and burglaries and it is NOT SAFE for single women and families with children. save your money and turn away

I’m giving them 1 star, and thats being nice. Don’t get me wrong the apartment complex is an OK place to live if you are not looking for anything luxury. But to be honest you can find a better apartment in the same area for around the same price range.
The reason I am giving such low rating is because of management! THEY ARE SO HORRIBLE!!! I honestly believe the criteria to work in the leasing office is you have to be a rude bitch! Everybody that works here are extremely rude and every time I need for them to do something it is a headache.
Lets not get me started on the ENORMOUS BUGS!!! So many bugs I have to kill, most being ROACHES! It’s ridiculous
And maintenance, you’ll have to call them about 100 times for something to be fixed. And once when I was getting out of the shower a maintenance man came into my house unannounced without a work order, very creepy.
If you don’t mind being treated rudely then this place is for you! But i refuse to be treated this way when I am paying over $ 1,000 to live here.

THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN VEGAS. EVER. DONT DO IT.
My roommate and I moved in around this time last year. We were desperate and needed to find a place quick. The price wasn’t bad at first, it was close to UNLV, our jobs at the time, and near grocery stores. We should’ve spent the added week or two to find another apartment.
I knew something was wrong when those incompetent girls working the front office kept losing our paper work and kept giving us the biggest attitude as if it were a bother that we came in to drop of the rent.
The location of our apartment isn’t that bad. However the people that live in the neighboring ones are the WORST. They’re loud, inconsiderate and quite frankly annoying. Especially in the late nights when you have an early morning the next day.
I can’t even use the damn computer room without encountering rude teenagers who blast music so loud it feels like a club in a COMPUTER ROOM. (Hey kids, instead of using the computers to blast your ridiculous «music», how about you read a book once in a while, jerks). Along with the computers room, there’s NEVER any toner or paper. Like. Really? As if my rent check and all the other stupid fees can’t cover it.
MAINTENANCE IS THE WORST. my roommate and I never feel comfortable with having them enter our apartment when no one is home. So we have to CALL and make sure they can come on a day one of us can let them in. (Yes, CALL. Their website doesn’t even let you set up a time and date. Step up your technology.) worst part is THEY NEVER SHOW UP WHEN YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. It took me weeks to have them just fix a simple problem in my unit. Worst part is, THEY WASTED OUR TIME. We had things to do, instead we were cooped up in our broken apartment waiting for someone to just fix the problem. Ridiculous.
Parking is NEVER enforced. Park wherever you want. Sticker or not. They don’t care. So it’s a freaken headache to park your car. Try complaining. They wouldn’t do anything. Apparently those girls just get paid to sit on their asses all day.
Don’t even get me started on the manager or their lack of security in the complex.
All in all, if I could give these apartments negatives stars, damn right I would give them a –50. Save your money and live somewhere else. My roommate and I cannot wait to leave this hell hole.

So my old roommate and I signed a 15 month lease here. It was an awful 15 months. Here are the reasons why:
1. Whenever we would put in a request for maintenance, it would be at a specific time when one of us would be home so we could monitor the maintenance worker. They never showed up at the designated time due to «lack of parts». So they would come in when neither of us were home. I’m not comfortable with strangers just entering my home whenever it was convenient for them.
2. We had 2 bathrooms. The breaker button for my electrical outlet was in my roommates bathroom. So when I had a shortage, I would have to go into her bathroom to press the button or ask her to do it. Super inconvenient when we both run on different work schedules.
3. The pipe under my sink was leaking for about a month when they finally realized it was an old pipe and was time for it to get replaced. No one has time to monitor a bucket under a sink.
4. PARKING! There’s no designated covered parking spot. Just a sticker to put on your back windshield so that you can park in the covered spots. Everyone without a sticker parked in the guest parking. There was hardly any guest parking so anyone and everyone parked underneath. Did they enforce the sticker? No!!! When I called management to complain, they said there were tow trucks daily towing people’s cars. Did I ever see one in the 15 months I lived there? No!
5. I went to go turn in my rent check one day and all the employees were busy with other tenants. No one even acknowledged that I was there. After about 10 minutes, this one light skinned African American girl walked by and asked if I needed help. «I need to turn in my rent check.» Her response with the stupidest look on her face says «awww we’re all busy. Sorry.» WTF kind of answer is that!!! Take 2 minutes, write me my damn receipt and I’ll be on my way. Are you guys that dumb? The answer, yes.
6. Children, teenagers, dogs. Noise everywhere!!! If you want to come home to a quiet apartment and relax, you’re not going to get it.
7. There was no gate opener/​clicker thing. You had to open your window and wave this black coin thing in front of this sensor so the gate would open. Not convenient during the occasional rain. And it was small enoug to get lost in your car with a $ 50 replacement fee.
8. I’m a clean person and so is my roommate. Being Asian, we never wore shoes inside. However, when we moved out, they charged us a ridiculously high cleaning fee! We tried disputing it, but since we were dealing with the not-​so-​brightest people, the charges remained and we ended up coughing up the $.
Ok that’s enough. If I listed all the reasons why I hated this place, this review would seriously be never ending. In summary, just stay away. There are better apartments in LV. Save your money and walk away.
