I decided to go back to cricket after finding out they’re under AT&T now. I like the fact u can bring in any GSM unlocked phone and go with them! I went in 10am and Angelica helped me with everything and she was very patient. She helped me for an hour straight porting my number and just chit chatting. This location is a decent size store with great customer service. I’m happy I switched!

I know what you’re thinking… CRICKET??? But I thought you loved T-Mobile??? Well I do and nothing has changed. I am trying to re-establish my 81 year old Aunts account so she can have unlimited talk and text for $ 25 a month. She is in an assisted living place in Parma, OH and we are huge family. The phone from the government is only 250 minutes and that was gone in three days. We’re Italian… what can I say… My nightmare began this morning when I tried to do all this online and the website wasn’t cooperating. I kept getting error messages. So I called their customer service number that I got from their website and from Google. It wouldn’t allow me to speak to anyone without an existing account and there were only two options, put in your phone number to speak to someone or activate your phone. I even tried using a fake number but the little bastard had that denial message recorded too. So I said, I’ll try the chat. I get on the chat and speak to «Elmer». I explain to Elmer my issues. Elmer tells me to dial 611 on my phone for customer service. Huh? I don’t have Cricket. I have T-Mobile. Oh that doesn’t matter Elmer says. Uh, yes it does El. So I asked for a customer service number different than the one listed on the website. There I had more fun with Carlos and Melvin who were less knowledgeable than Elmer and about as effective as ice in Las Vegas in the middle of August. So after 2 hours of that crap I decided to go to my neighborhood Cricket store. I wasn’t to excited at that prospect. But… TADA! Enter Edgar. My night in shining armor! He was patient, knowledgeable, and knew his business. Because of his fabulous attitude and did I mention patience? I was able to get everything I needed to get my Aunt’s account back up and running. Now here’s the kicker; Edgar spent 20 minutes gathering all this info and explaining what I had to do but I can’t do it from Vegas. It has to be done where the account originated from. He knew that and still gave me his undivided professional attention, even though he nor his store would benefit from it. Now THAT my friends is customer service at its’ finest! So to Steven, the owner of this store, please recognize Edgar Candelas as a team player with a great attitude and mad customer service skills. Well done!
