Dr. Tara – Las Vegas Dentist for Kids

We were going to someone on Eastern that was suppose to be for kids only but the staff and dentist just never seemed to be into kids or make an effort to make them feel comfortable. I was questioning myself thinking of changing when can across Dr Tara on a Facebook page group for moms as she’s a mom too. So happy we made the change. The office is close to home for us. Staff is welcoming and they try to make the kids feel at ease and they get to pick a movie to watch while getting their teeth cleaned and a little treat at the end. Great tips for parents. Highly recommend.

Dr. Tara was amazing with my three children. She was very kind and patient with them. Even when my two year old would not open her mouth for the cleaning, but when it came to fluorite time she loved it! The baggy with goodies and a gift to choice from was a nice touch. We will be back in six months.

Highly recommend! Dr. Tara is great with kids, and so patient with the screaming ones! (I speak from experience.) Seriously, the time she devotes to you and your kiddo is impressive!

We love going to Dr. Tara! My son has been seeing her for 2 years, since he was 12 months old. She gives great tips for keeping kids teeth clean, such as, how to deal with kids who don’t like to brush, eating and drinking habits, product suggestions, and proper brushing flossing and brushing techniques. She is very patient and answers questions without ever making me feel like she is in a rush. She also makes sure that my son is comfortable and puts him as ease before she begins. We definitely plan to see Dr. Tara for many years to come.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Tara! She is so good with kids, my daughter never cries when we come and gets really excited to get a little toy at the end. She had cavities and Dr. Tara was very gentle and really good at explaining me the job she had to do on my daughter’s mouth. She also gives very good tips on how to brush your kid’s teeth at home, especially when they move a lot like mine! Great experience overall.

Dr. Tara is kind, gentle, & caring. She really takes the time to answer all of my questions (& I am one of those parents with a million & one questions on my list!) & she ensures my daughter is comfortable before moving forward with the exam & cleaning. We’ve been going quarterly since age 1 & my daughter is nearly 3. No cavities or any issues yay!
My daughter is really motivated to brush, floss, & clean her tongue so that her teeth are sparkling & breathe is fresh for Dr. Tara. She doesn’t care if her teeth are ‘yucky & slimy’ or if her breathe is stinky for me or her father or even when I tell her that her friends won’t play with her. She only cares that it’s all good for Dr. Tara! True story!
Another great thing I love about Dr. Tara is that she is really proactive about educating her patients on proper preventative oral care. What a refreshing difference compared to other dentists who try to make more $ by fillings & offering extra unnecessary services! After all, it’s great to have good news or no new news when you go to the dentist & I think that begins with proper oral care! Thanks Dr. Tara, we truly appreciate all you do!

Dr. Tara Erson is fantastic! I highly recommend taking your children to her. She has always been thorough with our boys and very honest with us. Better yet, our boys actually have fun while they are at the dentist.
We have been taking our 2.5 year old son to her since he was a 1 year old. Now we take our 11 month old too. She has a great bedside manner with our boys. They have always been pleasant while they are in the chair with her, and are never fearful or unhappy to go back.
She is very informative when it comes to preventive care and options for any issues that may arise. For example, my oldest has a cavity on his front tooth. I am uncomfortable putting him under anesthesia at this time. She was very open and honest about the options and outcomes we have in order to address the issue. We decided to watch the tooth and wait until he is older to fill it. She had no problem honoring our decision.
