Drai’s Beach Club

First day club I went to out of four and this is still one of my faves!
I loved that you can see the view of the LV strip and staff was friendly when it came to helping me and my friend take pics and there was no «ratchet-​ness» when we were here. My whole experience here was good (only down side some tool telling me i was heartless cause I didn’t want to hang with them and their friends while I was waiting for my own friend, #byefelicia).

I sum up my experience as racist.
This was my second time here. Even though I didn’t actually go in because at the security they were ONLY searching the purses of African-​Americans. I could see what was occurring in the line next to mine. I have a tiny little purse and I was seriously made to lift my items out and he kept riffling through it. I said, «what could you possibly be looking for?» «Razor blades was his reply.»
No way. My purse is made of fabric. What an idiot. My (white) husband was right behind me and asked him what the deal was. He then changed his tune but by then I was too pissed to go inside.
Never again.

Drai’s is one of my favorite Vegas spots whether it’s after hours or the rooftop club. We came towards the end of September so the pool party wasn’t as lively as we had hoped. The rooftop pool is beautiful, with views of the strip looking over Caesar’s, Bellagio, etc. There’s also a fairly large bar with reasonably priced drinks ($ 10 – 12). There are two pools that are divided down the middle where the walkway leads to the DJ booth. The DJs were really good and once Quintino got on, we became the life of the pool. It was a little odd that we were the only ones drinking or dancing though. I just wish we could put the life and energy from Light, at Mandalay Bay, into Drai’s Beach Club. That’d be an awesome day club.

Meh. Boyfriend and I were here Memorial Day weekend (hosted by The Weeknd). This place has a stricter-​than-​average security check, and it took about 30 minutes after doors opened to get us in.
Unless you rent a bungalow/​cabana/​day bed/​table, there is nowhere to sit or place your things, so I suggest renting something with a group. On regular days, rentals run $ 100 – 500. On club days, starts around $ 1500. When a special performer is there, $ 5000 minimum. If you don’t want to rent anything but want to make sure your cover-​ups and phones don’t get wet you can opt to have your things placed in a drawstring bag with security but they will charge you $ 10 every time you want to check your bag! While every other pool club I’ve been to provides complementary towels, Drai’s BC charges $ 5/​towel.
We decided to go to the bar and check out their drinks. Want a shot? $ 18. A semi-​decent bottle? $ 65+. This wasn’t a total surprise to me but I wanted to have fun without racking up $$$ on a handful of drinks or getting an entire bottle for just two people. Right before we left, we did find out they have a pitcher of mixed drinks for around $ 40 but we didn’t notice this on the menu the bartender offered us.
When people started to dip their feet in the pool, the staff all shooed us to one side (with no valid reason). There were way too many people to be packed in this small half-​pool so we didn’t feel comfortable trying to get in there with no room to move around. Nothing fun was happening the entire time we were there, so we left early. No music was played in the 45+ minutes we spent there either, and with us all shoved to one pool, no one wanted to throw any beach balls or swim around.
I’ve heard semi-​mixed reviews about Drai’s BC so I’m not sure if we caught this place on a weird day. This time wasn’t much fun for us, so we probably won’t be returning soon.

Came here on Labor Day weekend and we loved it! There were 7 of us and we got a day bed for about $ 1000. Service was great and the music was good although a few more speakers on the opposite side of the stage would had been nice. Even the food was good! Everyone was having a good time and not being rude party people like some other places. Security was strict getting in so make sure you read what items are allowed in. It was super super hot but they handed out little water guns so everyone was having fun with that. Just don’t get the pool water in your mouth!
They were having a bikini contest with $ 50k for 1^st place and $ 25k for second… But they were all professional models. It would had been more fun for them to pull people up from the club.
This place made me love day clubs more than night clubs! Would love to come back!

No gum, no mints, no drugs (obviously), blah blah blah… The security here are more intense than TSA at LAX! This is the first day club I’ve been to where they actually make everyone go through metal detectors. YIKES! Good thing my girls and I only brought in our cell phones, IDs and our credit cards.
Once the search was over, we took the elevator to the top! What a gorgeous view! I love all of the PINK décor! My primary complaint is that DRAIs mostly composed of table service. If you didn’t get a table, there aren’t too many spots left to just chill. Luckily my friends and I were able to find a good spot where we just chilled by the ledge of the pool with our drinks and phones where it’s dry. I had a wonderful time with my friends Victoria and Patricia! And our trip got even better because we met our new friends Jennifer and Paulina, who happened to be from soCal too! Definitely going to keep in touch w those girls!
I think the drinks were about $ 20, a bit on the pricey side but they were definitely strong. My friends had the strawberry daiquiri and I had the blueberry lemonade daiquiri cause the frozen drinks last longer. Yummy!
We definitely enjoyed ourselves, but we got really lucky with that spot. My friends were saying if we ever come back here, we will probably get table service so we have a guaranteed spot.

The place was alright, but the service was horrible, the food sucked, and everything in our paid for area was janky.
We had a $ 6,600 bungalow in a prime spot, but the TV was busted, the ceiling fan didn’t work, the ceiling fan was filthy (Bungalow 2), and our waitress (Ivana) was horrible. Ivana cared more about dumping out liquor than actually assisting us in having a good time. She literally made drinks ⁸⁰⁄₂₀ booze, with little to no mixer. Don’t get me wrong, I like a stiff cocktail myself, however, if you’re trying to have a good time, over a long period of time, in 101 degree temps, you should probably try to throw some juice in the mix, and have a nice balanced drink. Further, I understand that she’s there to sell booze and make money, but she didn’t do a good job with being polite, or acting in our best interest. It was clear from the beginning that she just wanted us to spend a bunch of money quick, and get the hell out of there. Every liquor she suggested was $ 2-​$ 3k per bottle. She kept pushing the big bottle of Gray Goose on us, telling us it’s all about the show, and about how they bring it out with women on men’s shoulders carrying cards that spell out your name. We weren’t interested in that, we just wanted to have a good time.
All in all I like the ReHab pool party at the Hard Rock a lot more. Their prices are more reasonable, and their staff is more laid back.

I was here last Saturday 7÷25÷2015 and the rooftop provided a perfect view of the crazy fire at the Cosmopolitan pool. I’ve posted a pic. This is a awesome venue with great private areas and a full bar featuring gourmet food. Shout out to Chef Phil for the delicious grub and excellent hospitallity. This is definitely one of the best day clubs in vegas.
There’s two shallow pools that are perfect for doing laps. Make sure to wear swimming goggles, because the water can get a little cloudy. Try not to get too much of it in your eyes or mouth.
It’s packed with plenty of young and friendly people. The tables can be pricy and go for $ 3k+ depending on how many bottles you pop.

Went here for the pool party on my 21^st birthday. 1 star off for not letting the birthday girl in for free!!! (Or any of the girls). There was not even a line so we weren’t expecting it to be crowded. I have no idea who the dj was probably someone not great because people were not crowding the dj table.
We got upstairs and drinks were an outrage!!! Nearly $ 100 for 4 drinks. Good thing it was my birthday! Haha. He pool was gross but I would never go into a pool at a Vegas pool party. Also, people were doing some nasty things! Bumping and grinding to the max. Also drunk girls were falling everywhere including one that fell onto my friend. We laughed it off but shouldn’t you kick those kind of people out?
Overall fun but I’ll probably go somewhere and wait in line for a better dj and have a less scandalous experience.

Are you in Vegas and looking for a day pool party? This maybe a place you want to check out. The music was great! The views were amazing! The drinks were good but very pricy (is Vegas!).

One of the best dayclubs I’ve been to in vegas. Encore Beach club is my favorite but this is a close second.
Two pools and a stunning view of the strip. Easy to move around and they have lockers for about 20 bucks. Drinks are the same price as any other place in vegas. DJ booth is right in the middle of the two pools. Bathrooms are downstairs, no lines. I had a great time when I came here to see Sidney Samson and Quintino!
Barely any cell phone service but connect to the hotel wifi– free!

Strip down to your Bikini and head to the rooftop, there is a party waiting for you!
This place was a pleasant surprise because my expectations were already so low. Drai’s Beach Club is pretty much a club during the day; It is an oasis crowded with drunk people, and loud music. The music they played was whack, techno music, which is really not my style. However, I do love that it’s like a party on the roof and it had an amazing view.
The price is $ 20 for girls, $ 30 for guys and free if they think you’re pretty. One of my friends apparently fit that bill and got us all in for free. Still, I was really disappointed the weather wasn’t a little better, but on a hot day this place would be an ideal spot for an awesome pool party! There is a $ 5 charge for towel rental and drinks are regular bar price. If you want to rentone of the beds that are up on the deck be prepared to pay $ 500 and up
Also they are very strict about what comes in the club: No gum, mints, pills, Visine to name just a few items. If you’re looking for a great pool party, I would certainly recommend this place for a great time.

I love beach clubs, mainly because dancing in the water is so liberating .
Here’s my summary :
No open bar for ladies (unlike encore)
Smaller than encore, larger than tao/​marquee
Not as wild, just more chill
Cleaner water due to less crowding
Overall, i had a good time but it wasn’t quite as wild as iwould like as the times i had at the other beach clubs. Perhaps because it is too early in the season. I will definitely be back deeper into the summer because this place definitely deserves a fair try!

If you want to feel wild and free this is the place to do it. Party all day in the warm sun and cool water.

Not bad for my first day party experience! When we visited last month, our party of 14 walked into line at 11am which was an hour after they opened. There was only a couple other ppl in line in front of us so we got in without any trouble. Girls were free and I think cover for guys was $ 30. Unfortunately they charged $ 5 for a towel rental (!).
Once we got in though, I was impressed by the layout. Of course the pool area looks bigger in pictures. But it still looked nice lined by palm trees and since the pool is on the rooftop, there was some cool views of the strip too. The palm trees provide some shade for heat relief in the pool. There is a middle section of the pool where people can get up and dance. There are bottle service tables that surround the pool and upstairs in the cabanas as well. Since we got there early, we were able to claim a corner of the pool where we could put all our stuff and still have a place to sit, which can be rare in any Vegas club if you don’t have a table.
Drinks are pricy, but this is Vegas so that is already expected. BUT they do offer large cups of mixed drinks of your choice for only $ 40. That’s well worth it instead of buying $ 18 shots.
DJ was OK but we were only there til about 2:30 because were just waiting for our room to be ready in a nearby hotel.
I enjoyed our time here because it didn’t seem to be overcrowded. No cover for girls and decent places to chill if you don’t have a table. I probably would be back next summer if we make it out to Vegas and don’t want to spend a fortune on bottle service.

I dunno. The set up is pretty cool. The Dj line up could be better.
I’ve been here twice. The first time it was definitely a five star experience. The second time, not so much.

Ok I have no other Vegas Pool Party to compare this to so my standards were none! This party was off the chain. I enjoyed the music, the drinks and the atmosphere. Minus sand, it felt like a roof top beach party!
Beautiful venue and the water wasn’t murky as I expected a Vegas pool party water to be.
We came in September so the weather was perfect not excruciatingly hot.
Quick tips:
–Order your tickets online.
–Keep an eye on your belongings. Two people in my party had cash stolen. Not cool!

This beautiful venue just opened memorial day long weekend, a couple of weeks ago. I was invited to a daytime pool party, and I definitely got my eye-​full of 9’s and 10’s. Back to the venue: it is located on the 3^rd level of the newly opened Cromwell hotel. It’s small and very manageable and the décor is very classy. The pool area is a very nice size, not too big, but not to small either, surrounded by cabanas and booths, several of which boosts a view of the strip and the Bellagio fountains. And of course views of tatas and money makers in very thin and very tiny bikinis. Oh I digress.
The bar area is rather small, so when it gets crowded, it’s a long wait to get a drink. The other downside is that if you didn’t pay to get a booth, then you have no where to sit except for in the pool. But you can still order drinks for the hawt waitresses that work there, they take your order and strut away as their behind shakes from side to side, drooool, lady boner!
Anyways, it’s a beautiful venue, and lots of beautiful women!

We checked out Drais Nightclub and decided that we had to come back to check out the pool party!
One thing I thought was interesting was how they were thoroughly checking everyone’s bags. I mean I understand the purpose behind it, but when we were here last night for the Nightclub, no one checked anything. I guess they have more issues during pool parties then at the nightclubs?
Anyway, I was definitely impressed overall. We decided to get a cabana, because lets face it. Summer time in Vegas is hella hot. I don’t need a sunburn during my vacation!
The cabana was super nice, spacious, and even had a television! They also had mist sprays right in front, which was nice because even though we were in the shade it was still hot.
Along with the champagne and vodka bottles we were ordering, we also needed some grub! We ordered chicken strips, chips & drip, and a pizza. All the food was super yummy and definitely hit the spot!
Overall, if your staying in Vegas — I highly recommend to check out Drais dayclub or nightclub. Both was great in my opinion!

UPDATE: AUG 2015: didn’t want to write a brand new update because it’s something minor. Still 4 stars. Still a great intimate day club. Service was great. Even by 4pm the pool water was still pretty clear.
Now you can bring DRINKS INTO THE POOL AREA. I know I’ve written previously that security was tight on that rule. Well… have no fear. They don’t regulate that anymore. I’ve seen everyone brings cups, bottles etc in the pool.
First off… why is everyone so upset with their strict rules!!! It’s not even strict to begin with. You want to bring your drink directly in the pool and by 4pm, the pool water is going to be murky like Lake Mead?! No thanks. And besides, YOU CAN SIT BY THE EDGE OF THE POOL, DIP YOUR FEET IN THE POOL AND STILL HAVE YOUR DRINK IN HAND for all your complainers.
Moving on. My party consisted of a total of 5 people. We got a table overlooking the strip, Bellagio fountains, and Caesars Palace. The venue is really nice. There are two main pools, 5 small private pools for bungalow rentals, and 1 small circular pool on the 2^nd level.
Music is a hit and miss. I’m not giving a final decision yet because the day club is still new. I’m sure once they hire some big DJs, it’ll get the place even more poppin. We were there from 12 noon-​6pm. Everyone started partying, dancing and the music improved towards the last 2 hours.
