Drift Spa

The attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the facility was my favorite part of my time at Drift Spa. Every single staff member made me feel appreciated and I only experienced sincere, kind interactions with everyone at Drift. The ladies who did my massage and facial (Elizabeth & Renee) were extremely talented and considerate of all my needs. The facility itself was impeccable with what seemed like endless amenities. I already plan to return next time I’m in town. More than worth the price paid; invaluable.

Located on the 6^th floor of the Palms Place Tower. This is a nice place to relax after a stressful day of gambling (or partying). They have fantastic amenities — sauna, steam room, whirlpool. You can just purchase a pass to take advantage of the facility or stick around after your massage or facial. The prices are a little steep, but you’re paying for the convenience.

The service in this spa is tip top! In all honesty I have been to better aesthetically pleasing spas, but my 5 star review is really given because of the polite professional staff and the experience that gave me. Steam room was OK. Hamman was good. Massage was great! I love that in this place I never felt like I couldn’t ask for something or help if I needed it. Bravo staff, job well done!

Beautiful spa located in palms place hotel! The experience was amazing! I went for my birthday, complementary service for the birthday girl! ME! The facility was very clean and staff was very polite. It has all the services you expect and need for a spa day (wet spa, saunas. Stream room etc. It’s separated women and men but you get to meet up with your partner in the low steam room called the hemaans! For 50 $ you have access to all spa experience like the ones in the picture

Arrived early at the Palms Place before check-​in so I decided to check the amenities offered. Drift Spa is part fitness center, pilates, sauna & tanning. Also has a salon called Recharge. It’s on the same floor as Café 6 and outdoor pool. The fitness center is free to use for guests staying at the hotel but the spa section is extra $ 25 bucks for a day access. I decided to try the following day and for me, it was worth it! I woke up early from a hangover so this was a logical cure & recovery for my body :)
Walked in the spa and the attendant immediately greeted and directed me to the locker room. He demonstrated how to operate the locks and offered either bathrobe or towels. I opted for the robe of course because they just looked so plush and comfortable. Then offered a tour of the spa but I already had a sneak peek the day before. The spa was large & had many different sections:
1) Steam room & sauna by the soaking pool. There was also another large co-​ed steam room called Hammam. It was so relaxing and spacious! Took a quick nap in there and the powerful steam really helped sweat out the alchohol… lol.
2) Indoor hot & cold soaking pools. I prefer the hot one. It had jet massagers for your feet, shoulders and back.
3) Indoor & outdoor garden lounges w/​complimentary fruits and juices. The outdoor lounge had a nice skyline view and breezy.
4) The fitness center was nicely equipped too. Several different cardio machines including elliptical, cycling & treadmills facing city view. Good amount of free weights and nice selection of Precor machines.
The spa of course, offers facials, massages, mani & pedi and other relaxation services which I didn’t try so this review is only for the facility. It was modern, clean and staff was friendly. Just wish cost was included with hotel resort fee.

My mother and I got an apple caramel swedish massage and we both enjoyed it. I wished the pressure was a little stronger but over all it was good. The apple caramel oil smelled really nice. We also used the wet spa which included a suana, steam room, and jacuzzi. They offered bottled water, juice, and fruits. I would go again if I was a guest at the hotel.

3 stars= A’OK. It was just that. Not horrible, but not over the top.
I purchased a travel zoo deal for $ 145. 50 minute massage and a 50 minute facial. Really good deal for Vegas. So would I purchase and return, at that price probably.
Here’s my experience:
Cab ride from Aria is about $ 12.
I called the day of about 5 hours prior to my appt to see if they could slide me back an hour. The day was just filling up for us faster than I anticipated. They said no it would not be possible, so I kept my 4:00 start time.
I arrived at 3:15 to relax prior, and waited as he finished booking in 3 girls for 5:00 services. But wait, he couldn’t switch mine to 5? Oh well. I checked in, and they ask for you to prepay the gratuity. It was $ 52. Ok, so the original price of my services were $ 260 (20% gratuity on the full price.) I think it is customary to tip on the full price and would have done so anyway. I did find it odd to collect it upfront. To be honest, she ONLY got 20% since they did that. Some might leave more, but doing so before the service would be stupid. Since I arrived early planning to relax, I asked to see a wine list. He said they do not serve alcohol in the spa and I could not bring it in. Yet, directly on the counter in front of me was a framed flyer for a mani+pedi and glass of bubbly on special. Yet they don’t serve it?
The massage was good. At the greeting, I mentioned I was rather sore in my lower back from Crossfit. So when she started I asked for slightly more pressure, thinking she was taking it easy on me for that reason. Her response, «actually, just so you know, you booked the swedish massage which was a light and fluffy massage.» Literally it felt like a rub down, so I asked politely and offered to pay more if needed. She said she’d just accommodate. I wasn’t looking for deep tissue, but wanted more muscle than a rub down. So that kinda killed the mood. Otherwise, the facial was fantastic.
Again, for $ 145…I’d return.

After spend an entire day walking the strip, shopping at the outlets and walking some more these tired feet needed to be pampered. The spa was offering a deal on a 50 min massage — $ 85 so we booked it. It was a $ 10 can ride from the Cosmo (a shuttle also runs from Ceasars every 30 mins). We arrived 45 mins before our appointment and took advantage of the Et spa — hot tub, cold plunge, sauna and steam room. In the lounge they had water and juice available plus fruit.
All the amenities were nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. The only thing I would warn you about is they added a 20% gratuity on the full price (not our discounted price) of the massage. It was still a good deal in the end but I like to reserve the right to tip for the level of service I receive. No arguments because it was wonderful. And an added bonus is that you have access for the day to the spa and pool of your like! All around a great experience :)

Loved the experience here! Great place for a girls day and you could spend hours in their saunas and hot tubs after your service. I went with my husband and couldn’t see him until you go to the coed steam room. The hot tubs, sauna and quiet rooms have separate male and female quarters. Great view of the strip if you go to the outdoor pool. They have a room to relax in and have complimentary fruit and juice before your massage which was nice. I had a wonderful Swedish massage and the service was excellent!

Las Vegas Baby! It has been far too long.
My wife had a little business trip flying from Phoenix to Vegas, staying overnight at the Palms Place Suites and then a drive to St. George, Utah for another demo. We arrived in «Sin City» to an overcast sky and rain. Not exactly Valley of the Sun, but everything that we came for was inside so we weren’t daunted.
After check-​in at the hotel (more on the Palms Place Hotel in the next review), we proceded up to our castle in the sky. We had time for lunch and then she was off to the demo. Initially, I thought that I would head to the Drift Spa for a massage session. Unfortunately, they only had one available appointment that day which didn’t work with our schedule. I opted to the $ 25 Spa Access Fee for Hotel guests and use the amenities for an hour or so.
After checking in with the front desk, I made my way back to men’s lounge & locker room to unwind and de-​stress. While wandering, I encountered a male attendant who was under the impression that I was in the wrong place. Showing him my receipt he was nice enough to apologize and started showing me around. He led me upstairs to the gym area that was larger than most hotel gyms and had plenty of equipment for almost anyone. I thanked him and headed to the lockers to begin my journey of chilling, shutting-​down, relaxing and letting go.
First off, I entered the co-​ed Hammam that was steamy and dark, almost like a coffee without the sweetener. From working at Joya Spa at Montelucia in Scottsdale, I know what a luxury hammam experience also is for many people. And while visiting Istanbul, Turkey, and having the authenticate experience of a large man that does not speak English, twisting and pulling my body in odd ways which he thought constituted a massage, I’m familiar with the traditional ways as well. The Hammam at Drift Spa, is not that at all.
The steam room, sauna and whirlpool were exactly what they ought to be, places to relax for 5 – 10 minutes and then repeat. I was a fan of the outdoor lounge area and the indoor lounge area with TV, magazines, chilled water bottles and juices. It was nice that it wasn’t a weekend and the there probably only 5 guys in the whole space.
All in all, I would return and have a massage here, make time for the hammam, sauna, whirlpool and lounging.

This should be a zero stars rating, if the Unilocal app had that option!

They try to get you to pay in advance. Don’t!
Because the shuttle failed to pick me up at the time I had been promised, I needed to reschedule my appointment or wait for a standby opening. They would not me reschedule, nor would they even let me standby for the next available opening. They did keep my money!

I was looking forward to the massage that I had there for weeks. I had to give two stars because all the staff is so nice! But my massage was very disappointing. I kept waiting for it to get better and the the therapist told me I was done. I was shocked. I’ve had massages for a third of the price that were ten times better. I would check out a different spa. This one isn’t worth it.

I have never been to a spa before but I will be back. We did a couples deep tissue massage and it was a great price I felt compared to some spas located on the strip. I didn’t like that there wasn’t a dryer for my swim trunks at least in the men’s spa. Also being separated from my wife sucked because we wanted to relax in the hot tub together. But we’ll check on things like that more thoroughly next time.
The massage went by so fast but it was sooo good. I got all my aches and pains out of my back and got worked on in ways I didn’t realize you could have someone else position their body to massage you. The masseuse was very attentive to detail and asked me if it was too much pressure or weird spots.
The waiting lobby has fruit and juices and water available for you to consume before and after your appointment which I thought is a nice touch.
Well worth it. Definitely be back to the drift spa!

Drift spa at the Palms was an enjoyable, relaxing experience. The facility is extremely clean, various amenities provided (hygiene products, water, tea, towels, etc.), and you are able to stay as long as you like.
The hammam and lounge areas, as well as the indoor jacuzzi and sauna are well maintained and make your stay inviting and feel at home.
Other than the facility however, the massage I had was not good, way overpriced, and compares even worse than that of a $ 20 asian chair massage. You can pay extra for a deep tissue massage, but even that is disappointing. I don’t recommend the massage here and don’t think I would be back for one, but if you really need one, I would go down the street to the asian massage spots, save about $ 100−200+ and come back here if you are looking to spend a nice afternoon at their facility for some hammam relaxation; for that I think it’s a good spot.

Very nice and well maintained facility. I purchased a Travelzoo deal, which was a pretty good deal for both a facial and massage. The staff were all very nice and helpful. I loved the Hammam, which is basically a big steam room — there’s so much steam in there you can’t even see anything (be careful, you may run into something haha). Both my massage and facial were real nice. They try to get you to add on services — which I did and was glad I added the hair treatment (my hair has been silky since then). Everything was great there, except the only thing I didn’t like about the whole experience is that for Travelzoo customers (not sure if this is the case for others) they automatically add 20% gratuity. I agree gratuity should be expected, however the amount should be determined by the consumer and their experience.

When you get robbed, you leave a one star review. I went in for a 10:00 AM massage and facial. Standard procedure, I arrived about 30 mins early to put my belongings in a secure locker, use the steam room, and relax in my robe before heading into the treatment. I had checked out of my hotel room at the Hard Rock Hotel earlier that morning, and I was carrying a lot of cash from the blackjack table the night before. It doesn’t matter how much, but let’s just say it would have covered my mortgage payment for the month. When I returned from my treatment, I found that my locker had been opened (a key-​coded lock) and all the cash in my pockets was taken.
I immediately reported this to Palms security and the Las Vegas Police, filing a comprehensive report with both. Palms investigated the claim and concluded that they were not able to accuse anyone of theft since the locker room has no security cameras. Las Vegas Metropolitan had no evidence. So I basically had no grounds for a criminal case. Following a lengthy back and forth discussion, the Risk Management team’s official response was basically, «we’re sorry that happened to you.»
Look, I realize that there is a slim chance that the individual who broke into my locker would be apprehended. I remember the one guy who was in the room with me when I locked the locker — probably a pro who spent the money before I ever knew it was gone. The true failure here is with customer relations. Not a single person ever offered to compensate me in any way for this horrific invasion of privacy and terrible overall experience. They didn’t even offer to refund the spa treatment! When I called the Risk Management director and the spa Manager in the days following the case, I left messages asking for the names and phone numbers of people at the Palms who handle customer relations issues like this. No one ever returned my phone calls or emails.
This is the type of experience that leaves a sickening empty feeling in your stomach. I’ve stayed at the Palms and Palms Place many times in the past, visited the spa, and have a players card with a casino host. I guess I made the mistake of thinking that they value my business. What a terrible model of service! It’s one thing to be robbed, it’s quite another for the people whose job it is to control and monitor that kind of behavior double down on the disappointment. Be careful!

Loved the atmosphere, pool, spa, and my massage was very relaxing. It was beautiful and an amazing get away. My masseuse did a lovely job making sure the pressure wasn’t too hard. Every single minute was so enjoyable. Sadly I dont remember her name but who knew getting your hands massaged could be so soothing? She definitely had some magic in her hands! I loved the fact the outdoor pool and sushi bar was right next to the spa so you had the leisure to come in and out all day. I was going and leaving grabbing sushi, tanning, spa and relax, and repeat! Lol. Truly an amazing get away for locals! This is a wonderful spa to check out! I will be coming back.

I do not give 5 stars easily as maybe only do it a quarter of the time and I have been to plenty of spas/​massage places.
First some words of warning as this is not in the Palms casino but in Palms place a condo/​time share like place next to the casino and reached by a long hallway and skywalk. I actually liked that as it was quieter and I was not staying at hotel anyway.
Casino runs a shuttle from Ceasers forum every 30 minutes mall if you are not staying at hotel.
The facilities are very new as looks like this place was built after the casino. It also is huge as takes up about two stories with separate jacuzzi/​sauna/​whirlpool for women and men. Only thing shared is what they call a Hamman which is a lower temp sauna. It is probably about temperature one would do bikram yoga in. Hamman and is big enough you likely could set up yoga mat and go to work.
Places like this are based on the massage and this was one of the best I have had. I always tell the masseuse that i have lower back and neck issues from working at a desk. This usually gets ignored as they just do a full body rub down with no real focus on those area. This one not only focused on those area she paid special attention to my right side which was more knotted as I am right handed and use a mouse alot. I sometimes feel worst off after a massage but in this case i felt less knotted and more stretched out. I wish I live in Vegas so could return.
Give yourself time before and after massage to use the facilities.

I got a travelzoo deal since I went with a few of my friends for a bachelorette weekend. It was a pretty good deal so I decided to spring for both services, massage and facial. You will have full access to the pool and other spa amenities when you purchase their services.
What surprised me is that they topped on 20% for the gratuity automatically. It was off the regular price services and not the discounted price. I was on a major budget so an extra $ 50 bucks is a lot to add on unexpectedly. If I knew then I probably would’ve only had one of their services.
The spa was clean and everyone was friendly. Full access to all the amenities was great. It was a fun and relaxing day with my friends.

I bought a Travelzoo deal and went there this past weekend. We went on a Sunday and it was not that crowded. I was worried it would be crowded. We first got to the pool around 10 a.m. There were maybe 5 – 6 people there but one thing I don’t like is that everyone eating at Simon’s has a full view of the pool. There are all glass windows and it makes it kind of awkward when you swim by people who are eating and fully clothed. I am sure it would not bother some people, but shy people beware. At the pool it began to get crowded around noon. About 25 people or so, but still not too bad. You can order food and drinks from the poolside menu. It took 30 minutes to make a quesadilla and the quesadilla was $ 14 and looked like it came from Del Taco-​I would not suggest ordering that. You are better off buying $ 14 worth of food for your whole family at Del Taco. But it is the strip and expected, but I do believe they could have put a tiny bit more effort into the quesadilla to make it different. Drinks are around $ 14 each.
This is my second time at this spa. My first time I was impressed but I was not happy that their Hammam was broken. This time the Hammam worked but the steam room in the women’s area was broken. That’s okay because the Hammam was much better than a steam room. I only wish they turned the relaxing music up a bit in there. I could barely hear it. That would make for a more relaxing time. Everywhere you look it is clean which I really appreciated it. I did not see any hairs or trash or anything else gross anywhere. I liked that inside the spa many people were alone. I hate going to spa where there’s a bunch of people talking and carrying out laughing and being loud. Luckily this place was pretty quiet inside. Their jacuzzi is pretty weak (the jets) and I think it could use some stronger jets for my taste.
They provide bottled water, juice, tea, fruits, and trail mix in the lounge, magazine, and a TV (which again, I rather be turned off from the world when I am at a spa).
You can also use their fitness room which overlooks the strip.
The 4 stars are for the amenities you get with booking a spa treatment (pool, fitness room, Hammam) and the cleanliness. Also my facial was wonderful and I was so relaxed I fell asleep. I would come back here again if there’s another deal.
