Originally founded in Europe in 2004, Exotics Racing has been operating in Las Vegas, NV since 2009. David P.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Paris France, David is a former investment banker, having worked at Lehman Brothers in their Paris and London offices. David and his business partner Romain Thievin were childhood friends. David became Romain’s racing manager Romain in 1999, during his professional racing career. The two started CascadEvents which was the parent company of Exotics Racing, in 2005. The decision to expand the operations to the US meant leaving the banking world for the racing world full time. David, along with Romain started the Exotics Racing Las Vegas operation in Nov 2009. With a successful first year, the operation has grown with more staff, cars and track days.

My boyfriend and I have been to both the L.A. and Las Vegas locations of Exotics Racing, so this review applies to both experiences. We both drove the Lamborghini Huracan. Simply put, the experience is amazing. You select the race car of your choice, and they have quite a few to choose from, and the number of laps you want around the track. I believe both tracks are 1.2 miles around. You are in the car with an instructor who is a professional race car driver. These guys will keep you safe but also want you to go FAST and have an awesome time. I have always wanted to drive a Lamborghini, and my expectations were exceeded with both experiences. You can also buy a usb video of your experience, which I highly recommend. It is not cheap, but seriously worth every penny. I can’t wait to go for round 3. Be sure to tip your instructor, these guys deserve it!

Hands down the most fun I’ve had behind a wheel. Don’t think the instructor sitting next to you is just there to babysit you and nanny you through the 1.2 mile course. That would be a waste. As long as you’re familiar with paddle shifters and have some sense of car control, the instructor is there to push you (and the car) in the very first lap! Within the 5-​lap package, the first lap is your holy-​cow moment and the last 4 laps are basically trying to cut your lap time.
Every step prior to the drive (as well as after) was informative, friendly, honest, and fun. I initially thought it was pricey (even for the bottom $ 199 Porsche Cayman), but if you look back at what just happened, all the people involved, the upkeep of the cars (we’re talking a set of tires that may be more expensive than my weekly SUV rental from Hertz), the purpose-​built facility (clean, cool, and spacious), it’s actually very reasonable.
This would obviously make a great gift for the gearhead in the family, but I think anyone who’s been driving for a while will appreciate the opportunity to just sit inside all the supercars, let alone drive them towards their limits.
Pro-​tip: Listen to your instructors like your life depends on it (it somewhat does anyway). Also, take time to fully adjust your seats and climate controls, because there is no opportunity to do so once you’re driving.
Disclosure: I drove the 911 turbo (58 seconds) and my non-​gearhead wife drove the Audi R8 (1 min, 05 seconds).

Rude staff, did not enjoy myself here. The drivers that ride with you slow you down as they have their own brakes. Most importantly good customer service and staff is key and these guys are too cool for that.

This whole experience was truly incredible and memorable. My wife convinced me to just go for it, because she is the best :-)
The funny part was she got to drive the Lamborghini Aventador and I didn’t because I simply didn’t fit in it! Argh! But, the folks there were super accommodating and switched me over to a roomier Porsche without blinking an eye.
I would do this again in a heartbeat. Cranking out some fast laps was a total blast and I’d look to break my record if and when we can get to Vegas again.
Thank you to everyone there who helped from the experts who rode with us and enabled us to maximize the fun to the video guy who ensured our videos were perfect.

THE MOST FUN DAY I HAVE ALL YEAR!!!
First, let’s get this out of the way up front — this ain’t cheap.
But then again, do you really expect driving the hell out of a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, or McLaren on a closed racetrack with a professional instructor would be cheap???
I’ve been to Exotics Racing three times, and completely loved it every time. It usually takes two or three days to get the silly-​ass grin off my face.
It’s not a cheap day, but for the money I spend, I get to beat the hell out of about $ 2 million worth of their high-​end racecars, and then walk away.
Frankly, I figure they have to replace one set of tires (that I burned off) for every day I’ve been there. That’s probably $ 800-​$ 1,000 of the cost.
And if I did this kind of stuff at home, I’d have to keep a traffic attorney on speed dial, and would eventually lose my drivers license.
I usually drive 4 – 5 cars, and it takes 3 – 4 hours of pure enjoyment.
Awesome. Fantastic. Wonderful. Spectacular. Well-​managed. Highly professional. Very well done.
If you’re a car nut, this is simply the best!!!

TIP: If you can get a party of 5+ people you’ll all get 1 free lap. (6 laps instead of 5)
To maximize the experience and speed, you should watch other people’s YouTube clips to mentally drive the track before you arrive. Knowing where to brake and where the corners are will be one less thing to learn while on the track.
DRAWBACK: I had two instructors, one of them was very aggressive with grabbing the steering wheel to prevent any kind of tire squeal. (It was annoying and scary.)
FUNNY TIDBIT: All the super cars have training brakes! (Like the ones you had in your driver’s ed.) You can forget about «ghost ridin tha whip».
Overall it was great experience. Everyone was really nice. Good for someone who’s never been on a track and the seasoned racer. I would do it again.

All the other reviews are pretty spot on. It’s a great bucket list thing to do one time but that’s it. The actually driving is fun but goes by fast. My issues were with other things. First off if you get picked up by shuttle there’s a lot of waiting around. I spent 20 minutes of prep time and actual drive time and 2 hours of just waiting. I got on the shuttle at 2:00 and finished up at 4:15. I was told that the shuttle didn’t take people back until close to 5:30 so I ended up sharing an über with someone. Unfortunately that was the middle of rush hour and it cost about $ 60 each to go back. The other issue was they called me the morning of my drive and told me they didn’t have my car. I wasn’t given an option of getting any money back they would only let me take another car wth an extra 2 laps. Not a big deal about these things but just thought everyone should know going in. Have fun.

This is a must do in Vegas. Get assigned to the right instructor and he’ll make you drive like you’ve never driven before. It’s not a gimmick place where you get to drive at slow speeds. You drive as fast as you can. I’m in Vegas twice a year and each time I go, I make sure I make time for this. This is a must if you are a car enthusiast.

To satisfy a bucket list item, my husband wanted to do laps on a racetrack in a Lamborghini. We chose Exotics Racing due to a recommendation from a guy at the Superbowl party we attended.
They charge $ 300 to do 5 laps on their track.
Prior to hitting the track, you are briefed for about 20 minutes with 20 other guys on how to handle the vehicle and track. There are no simulators, so you are hitting this experience cold. You are then driven around the track for 1 lap in a different vehicle.
They give you a helmet and a guide rides with you for instruction and safety. The guide has his own brake and kill switch to help prevent disasters.
I filmed (both still photos and video) the entire experience, although you can purchase the onboard video of your experience for about $ 85.00 additional cost.
The first Lamborghini my husband got in started to smoke and the tires caught fire about ¾ around the first lap. They quickly pulled into the pit while another guy met them with a fire extinguisher. My husband and his guide exited the smoke filled vehicle unharmed while the third guy continued to extinguish the car.
after a brief visit to the office to report the event, they provided a second Lamborghini for my husband. However, they explained that since he had already traveled around the track for one lap he only had four laps remaining. Really? in a burning car?
The experience for me was unnerving, but exhilarating for my husband.

Adam the tall handsome guy help us sign in very good and efficient.
Josh and josh those are two very good coach giving you the best briefing and instruction. Cool as hell.
The amigo who speak Spanish, he is very helpful with all stuffs, I like him.
Rudy Ibanez, this crazy man will give you a boost shot of your adrenaline, if you sit besides him drifting.
I tip 4times during my stay with $ 20 each, so I’m pretty happy about my stay.

Avoid this place if your an experienced driver. The instructor I had when driving was incredibly rude. He did not ask me about anything about my driving experience prior to getting on the track. I pushed the car to driving limits I am comfortable with and almost hit a barrier because the instructor pulled on the wheel mid turn without warning me. He then cussed me out and and asked me what the eff am I doing. I let the manager know what happened and it he did have a talk with the instructor shortly after. But I left feeling robbed of my $ 500 because I had to finish my laps in bad moods.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The selection of cars was unreal. For no charge and a signature on a waiver — you can look at, sit in, and take pics of the cars. From the 2 level observation area, you have a full view of the track.
I have a need for speed but wasn’t ready to drive and did 4 insanely thrilling laps with their amazing driver Mike in the black Corvette! Got to experience DRIFTING from the passenger seat and it was one of the biggest adrenaline rushes I’ve ever had! 2 speed + 2 drifting laps… Wow!
One day, maybe I’ll get up the nerve to hop into the drivers seat!

First time, and had such a wonderful time! If you’re into cars & speed, this place is must go! I picked the Audi R8, and absolutely loved driving it! My professional driver, Barry was such a great guy!
Yes, it wasn’t cheap, it was an early birthday present to myself so I figured the splurge would be worth it. it was! :D I’m not a roller coaster fan, but wow, feeling the g’s when driving super fast was so awesome! This experience was seriously the highlight of my trip!
My fastest time for a lap was 1:05. I know it was slow…-_-, but it was my first time! :D
I found out they have one in L.A. as well… maybe next time I’m out in L.A., I’ll try it as well! :D Now, I have a new hobby! (albeit expensive, but worth it) ^_^

I’m very much a guy who loves cars. I had heard about this place a while ago. I finally decided that my birthday would be the perfect time to go.
From the start I knew this was going to be memorable. The staff at exotics was very gracious and beyond accommodating. They really care and seem to love their job. I know I would.
As for the experience. The 5 stars given is simply not enough. I’m not one to exaggerate, trust me. I drove a Lamborghini and Porsche. Both instructors were amazing. They made me feel calm and cool. Which I’ll admit considering my fascination for cars and driving I thought wouldn’t be possible.
Would I go back. That’s simply a dumb question. There are so many cars to still drive. It’s already on my to do list. The guys and gals at exotics. Truly made my 33rd birthday one I will never forget.

The ribbon cutting ceremony for their new facility was a lot of fun to see. Along with two Lamborghinis parked in front, they had a red carpet and two Ferraris.
Many of us in the group had tickets to do a few hot laps with a pro driver. Wow, they know how to take those corners.
Exotics Racing now has 50 cars and counting. The drifting expert was a busy guy, taking some of us out for additional fun.
One of the owners mentioned that a new racing program will begin soon. That way, people who come out often, will be able to see how their track times compare to other drivers. Pricing for this experience isn’t quite ready, but it could be around the $ 5k mark.
Both inside and out of the racing center has been upgraded. There is now a racetrack observation area on the roof. I wasn’t able to see it for myself, but it should be a good spot to get video and awesome photos of the cars going around the track.
Their newest car is the Mercedes Benz AMG GTS. It will be available to drive in the next few days. Have fun out there, I sure did. :)

My experience at Exotics Racing was perfect! From the moment we walked in the door to the gentleman who encouraged us to drive safe on the way home, the customer service was out of this world. Everyone, especially their group sales manager James, went above and beyond for us. The staff was energetic, organized and experienced. Also, their new facility is beautiful and perfect for group events!
As the director of sales for a strip attraction, I definitely know a thing or two about delivering a good customer experience and Exotics Racing has it down! I will absolutely bring my staff back for an incentive trip and suggesting it to all of my customers who are looking for a once in a lifetime experience!

The wife and I had a blast at Exotics Racing in Vegas. The cars are pristine and ready to rock! We did the ride-​along so we could drift around the corners (they won’t let you drift if you are driving) and it was awesome!
We were treated like a king and queen from the second we entered the building to the second we left. The VIP lounge is a great place to hang out and chill for a while before and after your run (s) where they have sports drinks, soda, water, and some snacks available for you.
I recommend giving this place a try if you’re looking for an adrenaline rush and a great experience to talk about for years to come!

My wife planned a surprise and sprung it on me, and I was quite happy about it. Exotics greeted us right away, explained the process and let us explore while we waited to begin. We got to look at/​sit in over $ 1,000,000 worth of cars, friggen awesome.
Wife got me five laps in the Ferrari f430. We had an orientation type meeting, then got a 2 lap demo of the track with an instructor. Once that was done, it was driving time. My instructor was knowledge and allowed me to drive as fast as I was comfortable with. I had a great time and realized 5 laps is over way to quickly.
The only down side is the price, which was around the tune of over $ 300 after we also got the video of the event. They burn the video to a 8gb zip drive which is yours to keep for an additional $ 75, kinda pricey.
I had a great time and loved the experience. I will return.

I booked a trip to Exotics Racing as a surprise for my husband while in Vegas. This was an amazing experience!
Hubby absolutely loved his joyride in the Ferrari F430. This was not a cheap thrill but it was well worth the money spent.
We did the 9:30 appointment and it wasn’t very crowded at all. By the time we left it was packed. I recommend an early morning appointment. They let you take pictures in and around the cars after they bring them up to the track under the enclosure. Take advantage of this and don’t be shy! We got to sit in all the cars they had that day.
The staff was super helpful and very knowledgeable. Any nervousness I had about him doing this was put at ease while I got to sit in on the training course with him.
My only regret is that I didn’t get more laps for him… it goes by so quickly. Thank you Exotics Racing for a memorable experience!

Für alle Deutschen Rennfahrer! Sehr cooles Erlebnis, extrem Professionelle Einweisung in theorie und Praxis wies auf einer rennstrecke abgeht. Es wird immer mit einem instruktor gefahren, nicht alleine. Praxiseinweisung über zwei runden wird mit einem porsche cayenne gts gefahren, da hängt man schon ganz schön in den kurven :) alle autos stehen draußen über einem zelt und könne jederzeit besichtigt und auch probegesessen werden. Zeit auf der renstrecke geht sehr schnell vorüber. Preislich liegt das erlebnis auf gleichem level wie ein heliflug von Las Vegas zum grand canyon, und das ist dann doch nochmal um einges geiler, daher beim preis-​leistung ein abzug. Wenn man das geld hat und in vegas ist, auf jeden fall «mitnehmen»
