I have waited in the snow… in the dead of winter… on State Street in Chicago, for their world famous Chicago Mix.
My husband was on cloud nine, when I surprised him with his very own bag of Garrett’s Popcorn, from the Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile shops.
I’m from the west coast, where we eat either cheddar popcorn or caramel popcorn separately. Originally, I thought mixing caramel and cheddar would be disgusting. Truth be told, the savory and sweet flavors danced in my mouth.
Glad to know that I can finally have Garrett’s Chicago Mix, minus the sub-​zero temperatures and the long lines in fabulous Las Vegas.

Everytime I go to Vegas I make it a point to get some popcorn here! It’s so much easier than going to Chicago to get it!

This is probably the best keep secret in Las Vegas (it’s probably not a secret, actually). You try to grab Garrett in its hometown of Chicago, you try to grab Garrett in Tokyo, Japan, and you’ll be expecting to wait at least an hour if not a couple hours or more. If anything, that’s a testament to the quality of Garrett.
You must think, «How exactly can you get excited about popcorn? Isn’t it the same thing you can get anywhere, like at a grocery store?» Be that as it may, but I was once a Garrett nonbeliever. After the two hour wait in Chicago earlier this summer, I was thinking, «This is the best popcorn I’ve had, but it’s not two hour good.» However, let’s say you happen to be in the LAS and there is no wait, then yeah, it’s damn good popcorn.
Go for the Garrett Mix and don’t look back. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. If you ever thought cheese corn mixed with caramel corn was a bad idea, and maybe it is, Garrett may be just what you need to change your mind.
Take a leap of faith and go grab Garrett.

As the name implies, Garrett sells popcorn. Regular, cheesy, caramel and caramel with nuts … Almond, Cashew, and pecan.
The popcorn is the ‘mushroom’ variety, small lil balls of popped corn. And, for the large bag we purchased, every kernel was popped. Something I don’t normally find with independent popcorn sellers.
The caramel popcorn is a dark caramel, lightly coated, and had a sweeter flavor than I normally encounter with caramel popcorn. Every bit is crunchy, caramely, and delicious.

Absolutely believe the hype of this gourmet popcorn it is delicious. It is on the pricey side but it’s worth it. I really love the cashew caramel and the pecan caramel in the almond they were my favorites. But in those for the peanuts the bags are smaller, but they have a seal fresh bag. If you get the largest size with combinations like the Chicago, cheese popcorn or the caramel Crisp then those come in a larger bag. But they’re not resealable. Look for the free samples to try. love that there’s a garrett popcorn in Vegas, now I can pick up my favorite popcorn and bring it back to the 808. They always have samples and are super generous. i love the chicago mix, caramel corn and cheddar cheese! Tip, grab a Miracle Mile brochure and theres a coupon for a free upgrade!

I have always enjoyed great popcorn and this is THE BEST ever !!! I first had the Chicago Mix two years ago while traveling on American Airlines to Jamaica; then picked it up again last year in Las Vegas. My coworker went partying in Vegas over the weekend and guess what ??? a generous bag of Chicago Mix was waiting at my desk on Monday morning. :-)
Now…when are we getting a Los Angeles version ???

If you are popcorn lover just like me, you will love this place! This is the best caramel and cheese popcorn I’ve ever had. Get the Garrett Mix! You will not be disappointed.
I also forgot to mention that you get a lot for your money. It’s better than that other popcorn spot. Hands down!

Omg! Where has this popcorn been all of my life? It’s seriously that good.
Needless to say I have never experienced the Garrett phenomenon. I had only heard about from the Steve Harvey show. Knowing that I probably would not be visiting Chicago anytime soon, I brushed off the notion of being able to try it. While meandering through The Miracle Mile Shops at PH, I gave it a try… and I so glad I did. I tried the following:
*Pecan CaramelCrisp: caramel popcorn with roasted pecans. Delish! 5 stars!!!
*Garrett Mix: combination of the cheese popcorn and caramel corn… created by fans. It sounded weird to me but I gave it a try and I dug it. 4 ½ stars!
I brought back some for my family and they all enjoyed it. I’ll definitely get some again when visiting Vegas.

While roaming inside the Miracle Mile Mall, came across Garrett Popcorn… JACKPOT.
Ever since Oprah told about their popcorn, I wanted to try.
Got a small bag of garrett mix and the pumpkin spice caramel crisp flavors. Soooo buttery, crispy and ‘cannot put the bag down’ tasty.
Discovered it tastes very good with wine. who knew :-)

I will always go out of my way to find a Garrett shop! I had my first taste of Garrett about three years ago when visiting Chicago, and it had been awhile since my last trip so I was excited to find this location in the Miracle Mile Shops.
I ordered a small bag of the Chicago mix. It was perfectly warm and fresh. I wasn’t able to eat my whole small bag, so I brought the leftovers to my office a couple days later and my co-​workers quickly devoured it. The popcorn was still crisp and fresh.

So I had this popcorn in Chicago first. I was super excited to see it in Vegas. I got the caramel pecan mixed with cheddar. Cannot go wrong. Must try people. Just buy it!!! So good. This place stands above any popcorn brand. Better then the street kettle corn or carnival pop any day.

Ohhhhh just as good as the Garrett’s in my home town of Chicago. Whenever I need my popcorn fix I come here and load up on my Garrett’s (Chicago) mix. I’m glad I don’t have to make a special trip to Chicago or rely on expensive online ordering and delivery to get my favorite popcorn anymore! So yummy!
Warning — you will need LOTSA napkins and/​or wet naps to wipe the excess yummy cheese from your fingers! Lol

What a nice to treat to see Garrett’s just after leaving the Britney concert! I had Garrett’s mix of caramel and cheese popcorn in Chicago last year for the first time and brought home some to share — I’ve craved some ever since! You wouldn’t think that caramel and cheese popcorn would taste so good together but they do. Yum!
The store was just about to close so they gave us a discount on the large combo bag — thank you! We enjoyed some right away and then enjoyed the rest during the remainder of our stay in Vegas. Loved it all! They are so thoughtful because they knew we wouldn’t be able to wait to eat some and tucked in some napkins in the bag to clean up. That was so appreciated because our fingers were covered in caramel and cheese for sure.
Please open a store in San Francisco where I live!

My mouth had been watering for this popcorn since I saw my friend’s picture in Chicago. Thank goodness I was in Vegas for the NBA Summer League games and got my fix. This is the closest Garrett popcorn on the west coast. I stopped by the Miracle Mile mall in Planet Hollywood before leaving and picked up 3 xl bags for myself, family, and friends. Prices are reasonable for snack items that you likely won’t eat on a regular basis. The Garrett mix is my favorite. The cheese is good and fluffy, not stale. Prepare to have cheese-​stained fingers. The caramel is sweet and buttery with the right crunch. I love eating a few clusters of each at the same time for the perfect melt-​in-​your-​mouth taste. Yuummmm!

Do you like when friends bring back good snacks from out of town and not souvenirs? Yes I do especially when I have been hearing a lot about the popcorn here so was excited to try it. I see the political name is Garrett mix but noticed a lot of people from Chicago call it the Chicago Mix, so we’ll go with that. No matter what you call it, it’s pretty good stuff, the mixture definitely works well together. It did seem like it was more caramel popcorn than cheese, and a lot of the caramel was clumped together too much. By the end of the week I will be reviewing a Garrett Popcorn Shop from Chicago so we’ll see if Vegas is living up to the originals.

Really surprised the popcorn was good here and prices are not bad. We just happen to be a little hungry for some snacks while shopping. We ordered a small bag of cheddercorn and it was a good size already. We tried the others but we are mice at heart and love cheese! The popcorn is a little different than other chains I have tried. It has butter with chedder powdered flavor so the cheese sticks. By the time you have eaten a handful, your fingers are stained with cheese! That’s how strong the cheese flavor is. They do provide wet wipes for your fingers. Still So Yummy! When I come back, I will get more…

A small size of the Chicago mix satisfied my curiosity (at $ 5.08 currently). Wait, they called it the Garrett mix but their fans call it the Chicago mix. And I’m a fan now too so there: D
I was sooo fortunate to meet up w/​my galpal while on this random LV trip w/​the hubs and she mentioned their popcorn. Her friend highly directed her to seek Garrett. I desired this knowledge so she explained. Then we added this on our to-​do list.

When devouring the Chicago mix, you must combine both flavors of the CaramelCrisp and CheeseCorn together in your mouth hole. What a medley of tastes.
Munch upon it immediately since it’s best fresh. I had some the next day and the CaramelCrisp was still stellar-​addicting but the CheeseCorn got mushy. So sad. Lesson learned — *sound of Taps playing* … –_​–
Oh and use the wet naps they packed in your purchase if you’re gonna walkabout and nibble. Btw, great packaging. Look at pics if tickled.
