Gina Louisa Designs

I can’t think of enough wonderful things to say about Gina and her gorgeous floral creations. I stumbled across her website in the early stages of my wedding planning and I am so glad I did.
From the beginning I felt like she was just so in tune with what I was picturing. We sent each other pictures back and forth to nail down exactly what I was looking for, then she sent me a quote that nearly knocked me out of my seat. She would be creating these masterpieces for a third of what I had planned for my floral budget! It seemed too good to be true. Even better, since I was being forced to have two weddings (an extra one for the groom’s guests in Chicago who didn’t want to travel), I would be able to use the flowers for both!
Gina sent me photos each time she completed something new, and it was so exciting. Like Christmas! I loved how attentive she was to me and how she kept me updated at every stage of the process. She completed the entire order within about a month of my placing the order. Since I still had about six months until the actual wedding day and I lived out of state, she stored them at no additional charge and hand delivered them when it was closer to the wedding.
About a month and a half before the wedding, my husband decided on a whim that he wanted to invite another friend to be a groomsman. Because things always seem more dramatic than they actually are when you’re planning a wedding, I freaked out about the new groomsman not having a boutonnière. I frantically emailed Gina, who responded almost instantly with kind reassurance that she could make me another boutonnière without any issue.
I was absolutely blown away when I finally saw the flowers in person. No one would ever guess they were silk. They were beautiful. In fact, I had to send my sisters out to gather the centerpieces up once the dancing started in the second wedding because there were rumors of guests talking about stealing them and taking them home for themselves!
Besides being wildly talented, Gina is an absolute dream to work with. She’s cheerful, funny, sweet, and spunky, as well as perfectly professional and a true artist. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Even if you live far from Vegas, I guarantee it will be cheaper to have the flowers shipped to you than it would be to have identical bouquets made with real flowers. Plus, I get to keep my bouquet looking just stunning as it did on my wedding day for the rest of my life!

Gina is amazing! Her silk floral arrangements are beyond beautiful! She really set the bar high. At my wedding I kept getting compliments from people on the arrangements. When I shared that the arrangements were silk arrangements, people could not believe it! My bridal party was also delighted that I had silk arrangements because they got a take away that will last forever. :)
Gina is also extremely easy to work with. She is super responsive, has a great personality, and provided great customer service. I highly recommend her services!

Gina is a delight to work with and a faux floral genius! I used her for my August wedding and people raved about my flowers. No one could tell they were fake! They turned out beautiful and just the way I wanted. Gina sends you pictures along the way and I had my flowers at my house complete and ready to go in March and my wedding was not until August. I also had to order a few extra arrangements closer to the wedding and it was no problem. Gina is so friendly and personable too and will make you feel like you’re an old friend. I highly recommend Gina!

I met Gina at the Indie Wed Bridal expo, and instantly fell in love with her style and artistic vision. I, of course, was not engaged yet, but I eagerly ran to find her the following year at Indie Wed once I was engaged.
Gina is amazing because she listens to your vision, gathers ideas for other aspects for your wedding, and most importantly when my venue went bankrupt she gave me recommendations for new places based upon my fiancé and my vision for our Rat Pack themed wedding.
I had discussed with Gina my vision on the phone, and at our first meeting she brought a record with a purple center (identical to my save-​the-​date), a vibrant bouquet, and sparkly earrings. Her vision and my vision were dead-​on.
Gina kept me updated over the past eight months on the progress of my order through beautiful pictures. She even came to me while I was dog sitting in Burr Ridge to deliver my flowers.
Gina is amazing. Her product is amazing. I would highly recommend Gina to anyone. I have already started pushing all of my friends to use her for their weddings and events. I promise to add more pictures after the wedding.

When I got engaged I was completely overwhelmed with organizing the wedding, planning the activities, and trying to ensure that everything would pull together at the right time without having to be stressed out on the big day. Gina simplified the entire process with her beautiful silk flowers and accessories, having silk flowers allowed me to pick them up a few weeks before the wedding and gave me piece of mind on the big day that the flowers would look amazing all night long!
When I first starting working with Gina I sent her a picture of something that I liked with the flowers that I wanted, she took creative control and came up with AMAZING bouquets, hair pieces, boutonnières, and corsages for the mothers. She was extremely professional, caring, easy to work with, and helpful when it came to putting everything together. She emailed me pictures along the way to ensure it was what I envisioned and the end result was super cute, hip, vibrant, and vintage looking flowers. Not only did the flowers look awesome in person but they photographed exceptionally well and will be displayed in my house next to our wedding portrait. I never would have been able to get the same feel with a generic florist.

GLD is amazingly stylish, as is Gina herself. I’m impressed with her use of color in the designs; they are very intricate and individualized. I know I could never do it myself! Because her materials are not as perishable as flowers, you can get finer details without paying significantly more.
Using silk and other floral décor is much more Earth-​friendly and responsible. It saves on cost and the carbon footprint of growing, refrigerating, and long-​distance transporting. I love that the beautiful designs can last forever, it’s a lot less wasteful. Gina is also very helpful, responsible, and is happy to work with people.

GLD is reinventing what «fresh» means in the world of wedding flowers. she’s opened my eyes to what it means to see silk arrangements at a wedding — silk can be sexy.
she’s compassionate, creative, and knows her stuff. even if you’re on the fence about the whole silk thing, it’s worth a call. feathers, vintage enhancements, and dried flowers add the perfect embellishment to a completely FRESH look. love it so.

Arrangements are so cute! Gina has quite a sense of style and a niche for vintage. Yes, the arrangements are silk and most brides are too picky and want «real» flowers. But lets be honest, if you can’t tell then difference, they are HALF THE PRICE, and you can keep them for years to come as keepsakes, then who wouldn’t want to partake? Not getting married yet, but i’ve got her number saved for that special day!
