Install was perfect and quote was $ 225 less than Carpets N More (stairs and small repair). Plus he was able to do it the next day.

I used J&M Flooring for the installation of tile. John’s quote for the project was very reasonable as well as the time frame for completion; however, the professionalism stopped there. We were told that the job would take 4 – 5 days to complete; 4 weeks later, the job is still not done. I agreed to pay half of the total amount once 50% of the work was complete. Big mistake! John quit after 50% of the work was done. Of course, after he had his money. His work was unacceptable as some of the the tiles were hollow and uneven. After we called him out for it and requested that he or his workers fix it, he quit. John sent over other workers and after they fixed it, he said that at that moment, we released him from the job. His worker, Tony, is just as sketchy. Don’t trust either one of them.

We have a property that’s quartered on and needed new carpet and Lino. John pulled through for us and got it cleaned up immediately. Highly recommended. Awesome job!

There was water under my laminate flooring. I began calling companies early in the week, and because the work area was so small no one was in a hurry to come out and do the job. By Friday afternoon I decided to try Unilocal for a solution. I found J & M on here and clicked through to their website. After entering my info and clicking send I received a call within a half hour. John was at my house within a few hours, and on a Friday at four o’clock he and his helper, Tony were ripping out soggy flooring, and revealing that the damage was far more wide spread than I had known. He gave me a great price on installing vinyl tile and carpet in the rooms where my laminate was previously a soggy, moldy and mildewy mess. By the end of the day Monday the work was done to my satisfaction. I will definitely use and highly recommend J & M Flooring in the future.

Leaving a review for this company although the work was done a few months ago. Quality and knowledge of work was very good. The only reason I would drop a couple stars was due to lower professionalism than expected. During my project the repair tech would receive several calls from his wife or maybe girlfriend, that always seemed to become some type of argument. This was a little awkward to listen to. I’m on the fence if I would recommend this company, but I will say the job was well done.

I used this company to install new tile and patch drywall in our house. I am very satisfied with the finished product! The job was done for a very reasonable price, and it was completed in a timely manor. The lines are virtually perfect and the workmanship and and experience is evident throughout. Their work speaks for itself! I would highly recommend J&M!

I’m a DIY gal trying to save money, so I did some tile work at my home that required me to demo carpet and baseboards. I know my limitations, however, and I needed someone to repair these areas. After all, carpet and baseboards may look easy but they take an artful hand to make it look great. I don’t mind paying for quality work and after a couple of quotes from «professionals» who didn’t get back to me, I called J&M Flooring. My message was not only promptly returned, BUT John (J&M’s owner) told me he could be to my house within a couple hours. He also gave me a cursory quote over the phone based on my explanation which seemed very, very reasonable.
Within two hours, John arrived with his assistant, Anthony (? his name is escaping me, but his smile, hardwork and proficiency of this former Marine are not :). After John examined the area, he confirmed the phone quote and began the job. When Anthony had to return to the shop to get a tool, John spent those moments waitiing stretching some buckled carpet and caulking my door frame. I told John that I was on a budget and could only afford the amount he quoted for work, but he assured me that it was no problem to help me out since 1. I was nice, and 2. he might as well make good use of his time.
When both of these gentlemen got to work, they were clean, polite, quick, professional and did the work beautifully. My house was left neat and tidy with far more than I ever expected OR ever received from professional tradesmen. (And I’ve worked with a lot of GCs and tradesmen.)
Since I’m a Vegas native, this town is small. I know who to avoid most times, but it’s still difficult to find who to trust. I can confidently say that J&M Flooring exceeded my expectations. As I continue my DIY remodel, I will be calling John and his crew again to provide quality handyman work that not only increases the value of my house but my budget! Thank you, J&M Flooring, LLC! :D

I used J & M Flooring LLC for an emergency carpet repair project I had. Carpet in my rental home was left in extremely bad shape after some tenants moved out. The gentleman who came out did re-​stretch and repair the carpet, but he seriously overcharged me for the work. He quoted me a price based on the labor that was going to be required (he said the job would take him all day). After accepting the offer the work was complete within an hour.
Overall I was not satisfied with the way this company conduct business. The work they did was acceptable. I will not used J & M flooring again in the future and would never recommend them to people I know.

When you select 5 stars on Unilocal it comes up «Woohoo! As good as it gets!» and I can honestly say this is the best description. A little puppy DESTROYED my carpet in 5 different areas and I thought for sure it could not be repaired. I live in an apartment complex who I am sure would have charged me an arm and 5 legs when I moved out for repairs. I spoke with John over the phone, described the issue and he gave me a quote. I for sure thought that the number would increase when he came by and saw the real damage but John is 1) an EXPERT and 2) a man of his word. I recommend J&M Flooring to anyone that wants their carpet repair done right and doesn’t want to be ripped off! My carpet looks awesome, you would never know the difference :-)

I was looking for Transition Strips, those are those Strips they put between tile flooring and carpeting. Well the owner explained in great detail how to finish the tile and tuck the carpeting so that I wouldn’t need to use the ugly strips and he was right, it worked wonderfully. He truly is a great flooring guy.

John, of J&M Flooring, LLC came highly recommended to me by a local business for his expertise in carpet repair. I’d desperately needed a re-​stretch on my living room carpet that had formed lumps and bulges in the heavy traffic areas. One of the lumps had actually torn over time and we were worried the entire carpet would have to be replaced as had been suggested by other carpet specialists. We booked an appointment with John and when he arrived two days later on time and as promised I was more than pleased. His estimate was not only reasonable, but the lowest of all we’d received. Work was started the following day and finished in no time at all. The worn spot was not only repaired quickly, but is now completely invisible! John’s work is amazing and above all, professional. I would recommend J&M Flooring to anyone needing carpet repairs of any kind and will definitely use them again.
