Lee’s Discount Liquor

This is the cleanest looking Lee’s liquor in the area, especially compared to the Craig and Rancho store. They have a huge beer cooler with more craft beers than I can even count and a decent sized selection of wine compared to many of the other locations around town. The staff here is excellent and he management has gone out of their way to brig in a case or two of special orders for myself and other people I’ve seen there. Plus this place is cheaper than smiths right next door to it, so it’s a no brainier to shop here for all your alcohol needs!

Lee’s Discount Liquor is the mainstay of all liquor stores since I was a kid growing up here. As the Vegas Valley grew, you could always count on a Lee’s popping up in a newly developed area of town, and the store at Durango and Centennial is no exception. As a matter of fact, it got way better a few months after its grand opening. The store seems much more inviting in terms of the layout, the samples (which are always plentiful pluses for me) and the helpful staff. The store director, Julie, really knows her stuff when it comes to all things booze and the art of mixology! Turns out she was in the bar biz working at her family’s bar years before. So not only could she could walk the walk and talk the talk, but she personally shopped with me! She walked me around when I needed the ingredients to make dirty martinis. I had a question about one vodka over another and she was very knowledgeable about the different types of vodka and never once attempted to do a hard sale, like I’ve experienced at another local liquor store (ahem, Total… cough). As a matter of fact, the vodka I purchased on her recommendation cost me less than the one I thought would be better just because it was more. She’s awesome and her help continued with other customers after she got me to the check stand.
I have never had a bad experience whenever I come to this store in terms of the staff. Zack is great, very friendly and as I have personally observed, he was very accommodating in assisting a difficult customer. Jameisha is a sweetheart, very friendly and smiles every time I see her. She was also very helpful when I had a question about a different vodka I wanted to try (yes, I like vodka). And another team member who is all smiles every time I see him is Dave. His recommendation of a certain red blend that l wasn’t sure if I wanted to try worked out wonderfully. And it just so happened that the wine was part of the most recent Kenny Penny sale — so I got two bottles for the price of one.
Which brings me to this next part. Having lived in LA for many years and enjoyed the spoils of BevMo’s 5 Cent Wine sales, I must say that the Kenny Penny wine sale at Lee’s Discount Liquor is the next best thing to the 5 Cent sales. I say this with the hopes that like BevMo’s 5 Cent Sale, there will be more frequent Kenny Penny wine sales. Are you reading this Kenny? Us winos, love our wine and dig deals on good wines! These sales are fantastic. I can buy up to a case (or two) of wine without hassle and it will last me a month (don’t judge me). Many Californians who moved (or in my case, moved back) to Vegas that I personally know would love to have more frequent Kenny Penny Wine sales comparable to the beloved BevMo. Just sayin’!
Either way, can’t go wrong with Lee’s Discount Liquor.

right now its POURING rain. My husband dropped me off to albertsons nearby and he went to lees liquor. When he arrived there he was stuck because i accidentally took the keys (push to start) and his cellphone with me so in other words, im also stuck at albertsons. Thank god for lyft ! When me and my husband reunited, he told me he tried asking for a phone to contact me, and one of the guys refused and told him our situation and still refused and did this rude hand gesture not to help him out to his fello employee ! Mind you its pouring rain so my husband had to walk to pier one to get a hold of me. As simple as a phone call really !? Pier one helped him out and he didnt even purchase anything ! I will get a hold of management even if it doesnt make a difference. Very upset.

Piss poor management. Prices ring up different and they charge you the higher one and argue with you! GO TO TOTAL WINE! Bigger selection and better prices.

This particular LDL is big but not that big. It’s small but but not that small. It offers clean lines and clear view of many bottles upon making entry. This makes it easy to locate whatever (hopefully) your looking for. The harder liquors are pretty much covered. Those of fermented yeast persuasion can. at times… be a little harder locate. At times this can be frustrating due to the other mega «discount» liquor store locate only a short distance away depending on what freeway you get off at. Some clerks are better than others. Some are nicer and some aren’t. Some possess a knowledge of the happy juices and some could care less. All in all… This particular location offers more than what was here in the past.

Lee’s pretty much has the best prices in town, and finally they opened one up in our neighborhood. Unfortunately I can’t drink anymore, but we still stop in for bf’s beer and wine. Right now they have Kenny’s Penny sale going on; it’s basically a BOGO offer and there’s lots to choose from. Another great BOGO offer going on until 12÷31÷15 is Kirin 6 pack (final price two 6 packs for $ 6.99). If you’re feeling like dropping a few hundred or thousand, check out the bottles in the case by the check out line. Wow!
This location is never busy so you are in and out in mere seconds if you know what you want. If you want to browse you can stay in there all day! Only downside is the parking lot it’s located in can get busy at times, with Kohl’s and Buffalo Wild Wings in the same plaza.
Staff is nice and always greet you when you come in too.

Great Selection! They even Price match Total wine and more! I am very happy with the level of customer service here. Great for stocking up for the holidays! Check it out!

Love it that this location is just near my house. The staff is always friendly, the place is not to big but who cares it has just the stuff I love.

I would not normally think to rate a liquor store, But after I went in there today. I was truly bothered, I was in there for there Grand opening employees were friendly and helpful. But today it was like I was invisible the employees were in there own world talking amongst each other. The gentleman on the cashier did not even greet me, he never even told me my total I had to ask, never I. D me to make sure it was my debit card I was paying with wich is strange as they have pics on there front door of people that have stolen from them. No Thank you, nothing. I originally planned on going to the new Total Wine and use my coupon. I wish I would off after going there today, Meanwhile I get home and my son had gone to Lees as well today and we both spoke about how bad there customer treatment is, That’s 100 bucks we both spent at the wrong place:(

Yes we now have a Lee’s In Centennial Hills! Hands down the best place to buy any type of beer, wine or spirits in LV. They have such buying power that you are most likely to get the best price. The Grand Opening for this location is August 15. They will be doing tasting, music and free BBQ to celebrate. Yumm!
I plan on stopping by here often. So far I am very impressed with the selection of beer at this location. Craft brewed in every style imaginable. That is what I love about Lee’s. I my quest to encourage residents of Las Vegas to drink local, I recommend trying the Joseph James, Tenaya Creek Banger Brewing, Crafthaus, or even the Mudshark (AZ). This is a smaller Lee’s, but the staff is still very friendly. Their selection is very good, and they can order anything you’d like, whether from other stores or from the manufacturer.
