MAC Cosmetics

I have never been more disappointed in a MAC Store in my life. My friend and I walked into this shop in the Forums Shops in Caesars and I have never been more shocked with how rude an employee could be. First we waited about 15 minutes just for someone to come up and see if we needed anything, told the lady we both wanted to be color matched for foundation, she said she would be right back and to hold tight. So we walked around and swatched things, we were so excited to buy some things in person from MAC, as living in MT we don’t have any stores here and have to buy online. Well, 25 minutes went by and she was back to stocking a shelf, we went back up to her, asked her again, and said, just hold tight someone will be with you, and may I add, in the most rude and disrespectful tone ever. My friend and I proceeded to «hold tight» another 10 or so minutes went by and we were furious. I tried one more time asking someone else to help us and again we were told to «hold tight» even though 3 employees were stocking a shelf and the other 2 were standing over by the brushes chatting. We decided we were done waiting on these rude employees, so we went to the register with what we had found while waiting, FIVE different ladies walked right by me next to the register, I had products in my hand ready to check out, and not one came to check me out. So I left all of the products on the counter and went to NARS right next door and spent my money there. I have never been more disappointed in my life. I am not sure if I will buy from MAC again. I hope all of these bad reviews that I am seeing on here will maybe help them to make a change in their attitudes.

If I could rate zero stars, I would. When I walked in, no one greeted me. There was one girl on my left stocking shelves and there was 3 or 4 others on my right with appointments. I walked in and knew what I wanted and just needed someone to get it for me. I started walking to the two people at the register, where there were no customers and one girl rudely stopped me and informed me that she had an appointment and that whatever I needed had to be quick! Wow lady. I never even asked her for help and to talk like that to a customer is just wrong. Will never go back.

Well. I have to take a moment and write about such a poor shopping experience I just had. I am a working professional who has been working in the entertainment industry for nearly 20 yrs. I have been a loyal customer and I’m astonished at the bad customer service I have received. I understand that as a makeup artist you like to do makeup applications but this is a store. Meant to sell things!!! I stood around for 35 minutes while 4 different people told me it would be just a moment I’m doing someone’s makeup. grrr… breathe…
So finally I was helped and the the sales girl isn’t aware of the promotion. I don’t have to stand around and then have to educate employees on your stores policies. Either the employees aren’t accurately trained or there is sever lack of management on the sales floor to make sure every customer is getting to experience a quality shopping experience. The eye shadow display is not in order and missing at least 8 colors. There are applicators laying around. I have glitter all over my work pants now. You shouldn’t feel like you need hand sanitizer after you leave a store for cosmetics. Get you game together. I’m embarrassed for you! I can safely say… I won’t be returning to this location.

I started using MAC when I was 19 I’m much older now to say the least lol! A specific artist REALLLLLLLLY impressed me to the MAX & I have to say I’m a picky ass woman! Her name is Kandice Peralta, not only does she do impeccable work her knowledge is astounding!!! I have trouble when getting my lashes put on specifically my left eye & she nails it every time!!! Completely seamless, flawless work & the funniest/​witty young woman I’ve ever met by far!!!

I love MAC makeup and shopping Pro stores gives you the extra product you can’t usually access. The sales rep was really sweet and helpful. I had a great experience and was in and out in a flash.

Sam at MAC in Caesar’s Palace did a fantastic job on my make up for my brother’s wedding! I showed him a picture of vaguely what I wanted and he just took it from there! I felt so beautiful! Thank you Sam!

Adrienne is fierce, baby! Great customer service! Went above and beyond to make sure I looked HOT and flawless. See ya next time Love!

I checked this store out as I needed a home base for restocking my usual MAC basics. The girls were all so sweet and helpful. I love being introduced to new products, and the sales girl wanted me to try the new lip gloss, but I noticed after she raved about how the gloss stayed in place, it was on her teeth a little. Oh sweetie.
My MAC needs were my favorite highlighter in Pfloof and the eyebrow pencils in brown. I looked at the new limited edition Haute Dogs in basic browns but was not impressed.
It’s a wonderful MAC store.

3 days late on this review but I went to this store July the 26^th for my first time. I had the pressure on having Oscar attend me. He was awesome! Helped me out with everything I needed & was super friendly.

Adrinn and Shree are amazing! We cMe to Vegas for my cousins bday and wanted to have our make up done. We set appointments and these 2 ladys took very good care of us. Bery knowledgeable and professional. Grrat experience

8 people working in the store all seem to be ignoring customers and chatting amongst themselves.

Terrible customer service at this location!
Mac products are great, and every location I’ve been to in CA I’ve experienced professional and friendly associates. This was absolutely NOT the case at the Mac store in the Forum shops in Las Vegas.
I stopped in just to pick up some products I always use. There were three associates and not one bothered to even acknowledge my presence when I entered the store. Two were assisting other customers, so I just waited patiently. The third associate was back behind the counter in the shadows — not sure what she was doing, but it certainly wasn’t assisting customers!
The associate on the floor rang up her customer and then proceeded to hang out behind the counter with the other useless associate! The third associate was still helping his customer, but he was the only one who eventually acknowledged me and then told the others to help me.
WOW, this gal was one nasty, rude, biatch! She acted like having to pull product and ring me up was such a chore!!! NO courtesy whatsoever, for an encounter that took 5 minutes tops.
Whoever manages this location needs to reevaluate their sales associates. So many people are in need of jobs these days, there’s no reason to keep miserable wretches who obviously despise what they do!

There was no way I could not take the time out to write a review on my recent experience. I had to make a last minute appointment as our original artist had a flight delay and could not make it to our hotel room in time for the awards show. I was able to make one and it was with Rachel. She was absolutely amazing and so much fun to work with. Her passion for her job and for what she does is so evident and this is truly satisfying to experience as a customer. MAC is so fortunate to employ someone like her and I hope they recognize her talents and love for what she does and even greater, for her COMPANY. I will forever align my experience with Rachel with my opinion of the brand.

ADRIAN * ADRIAN* ADRIAN* I have never in life been so satisfied with a make over .vi worked with her April last year and Just booked her Again for my up coming event in April. She knew exactly what I wanted and did it to perfection. Everyone wanted to know who did my make up this until this day my photo gets never ending likes when I post on IG. Thank you so much to the wonderful team at MAC and ADRIAN!

Some of the so called make-​up artist are not make-​up artist at all. I had someone just apply lipstick and she didn’t even use a lip brush just applied directly and the lipstick was all past my lips. I had to correct it I might as well have had my 8 year old apply it which she would have done a better job than here. Dissapointed.

I stopped in for the Back to MAC recycling program and ended up being helped by Brooke. She helped me select some additional products (which I LOVE), then convinced me to have her show me how to apply everything.
Now — I don’t typically wear a lot of makeup and have always been hesitant to have anyone at MAC style my face for fear of looking like a circus clown when I walked out, but Brooke did such an amazing job! I looked natural and vibrant when she was done, and she took the time to show me the proper brushes to use, as well as some make-​up artist tips to looking fabulous in minutes. I told her, «My boyfriend is going to think I look really great when he sees me, but he won’t know what’s different.» That was 100% accurate! He kept looking at me saying, «You look so good, but I can’t tell what it is.» lol
I swear if I know I’m going to Vegas, I will hold off buying from my local MAC store and will go to this location in the Forum shops and ask for Brooke. She’s a real sweetheart and great at what she does. (For the record, all of the artists were nice, but she made the experience fantastic).
MAC — I don’t know Brook’s title, but you should take note and promote this woman if you haven’t already.

I cannot express how appreciative I am of Jose who works at this location. My girlfriends and I were just browsing and I was looking for a new fall blush shade for fun. I had previously purchased a blush from Mac about two weeks ago that I love and could not remember what it looked like on. Jose tried a few on me and agreed that animal instinct was a great color but that I shouldn’t have to purchase it because I just purchased a blush that was almost identical. He tried a few other colors on me for spring and told me to come back and he would happily do a make over. So kind and a complete gentleman. I have been shopping at MAC for years and he is hands down the best employee I have ever encountered.

I am sent out into the world alone about 3 times annually to hunt, forage & harvest for my girls 3 big present days. In these celestial times I have found 3 places that have become expected ritual stocking stuffer caliber gifts. These would be
(1.) MAC lipstick, eyeliner, mascara.
(2.) Vosgues Chocolate and something from the
(3.)Betty Page Store (now renamed Tatyana boutique).
All 3 are located in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace! I have everything all mapped out, so as to keep the hunt as fruitful quick and painless as possible. At MAC I ask for the Russian Red lipstick and the numbers of eyeliner and mascara that I sneak a peek of in her make up bag. Most times the staff can see that I am on a mission and they snatch those up for me and I am on my way to the next «big game» of this hunt. However. Once in a while I get the super helpful employee that asks me questions first. This totally screws with my synchronicity and induces headache-​like anxiety.
«Did you want this in matte or gloss?»
«Now were you looking for our new blah blah blah line of mascara or did you want the classic etc. etc.?»
NO NO NO! Don’t do this to me! One time I attempted to answer these type of questions and it resulted in a fading smile after opening the MAC present bag. Aside from that I now sneak the actual makeup she has and just show them to the MAC employees which makes my stop at MAC less than 4 minutes now! Great staff and they did find time to squeeze my girl in short notice once for an anniversary makeover this year so I think they are a very cool MAC store for the Strip.
