Monarch Lacrosse delivers extraordinary lacrosse training straight from the pros. All our coaches are current or retired professional lacrosse players and are owners in the business. Our box and field lacrosse camps have limited class sizes in order to maximize time with young athletes.

History

Established in 2014.

In 2013, David Takata and Lewis Ratcliff decided to build a lacrosse company that would stand for generations. They recognized a need for a holistic approach to training and saw the variables in every lacrosse athlete’s background. Rather than build around a single big name athlete, they wanted to create a system that could be replicated and deliver consistent training results in any region with any group of young athletes. In 2014, Monarch Lacrosse was born.

While we focus on box lacrosse to develop skills, speed, and game IQ, our system was really designed to make field lacrosse athletes better. We love what we do and are constantly trying to improve the system.

Meet the Business Owner

Lewis R.

Business Owner

Lewis Ratcliff is a National Lacrosse League professional athlete who currently plays for the Vancouver Stealth. He is an NLL All-​Pro, All-​Star, and is currently the 6^th all-​time scorer in the league’s 28 year history. He played field lacrosse at Division I Ohio State and has also played in the LXM Pro Tour. When he’s not playing, he’s coaching or spending time with his two children in Victoria, British Columbia.
