They cancelled on us the day off 5 hours after their expected arrival time. Negative Five Stars!!! This company is the most unethical and unreliable company I have ever come across!
Our move was scheduled for Saturday the 18^th. We received a call the day prior confirming the time frame of 8 am — 10 am arrival. So Saturday comes, 10 am comes and still no movers, no call. So when we call we speak with this dispatcher who continues to tell us he doesn’t know what time they will arrive but know that it will be today. I go on to tell him that we had rearranged our work schedule around this move, we have family in the hospital to we need to also go back and care for, cable scheduled to come at 2 pm at the new house, etc…
He says well you have 2 stops and we tell him «No we do not» we have a simple move that as requested will take no more than 2 hours as the home is only 5 houses down and majority has already been moved and we only need to move large furniture. He says again, I don’t have a time. So we ask that he follows up in a hour so he can call and see where our movers are at in getting to us. No call back. I call back after waiting an 1 ½ hours and speak with a gal that gives us the run around. Finally transfers me back to the same incompetent dispatcher. This time he gives us a time of 1 pm — 3 pm. So 1 pm comes still no moves. We call back and keep getting voicemail after 10+ consecutive calls. We decide to call from another cell phone and low and behold they answer after the second ring. I ask to speak with the same dispatcher. This time I ask for the owners name. Then he tells me… Mam we are no longer going to do your move, if you paid a deposit I will ask my accountant to refund you.
I was LIVID!!! Who does this?! I urge you not to use this company. They are by far the worse moving company I ever outsourced. We should have read the Unilocal reviews before making our appointments.

If I could give this company no stars I would. In this day and age you should always read reviews. I was dumb and did not see all of these 1 stars and horrible comments about this company.
I have posted my formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau below. I have also contacted a Mediation Company called Bark Back to now speak with the company because the customer service at this company is horrific. At this point I feel I have been scammed. So please enjoy the read and NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
I was told by one representative my things would be delivered on one date and that was incorrect. I lost wages at work and have had poor customer serv My deposit date paid $ 116 by Visa debit card authorization code 30 804. The representative I emailed was Missy Cordell. She was always helpful! My move date that I sent in an email to missy Cordell on May 4^th — I told her I needed delivery by ⁶⁄₁₀. She replied the same day saying that she spoke with dispatch and they said they needed to pick up my things from my house on May 31^st to ensure delivery on ⁶⁄₁₀. The delivery truck showed up on May 31^st and I had all of my things packed and labled as instructed in the contract. I paid half of my balance of $ 1040.52… Paid $ 520.26 cash on 5÷31÷16. On that date I also spoke with the delivery driver and I specifically asked him if my things would be at my new residence on 6÷10÷16. He made a call to his supervisor and he reassured me that my things would be delivered on that date. On 6÷3÷16 I received an email from Maya Sharif stating that I requested my move start date as 6÷10÷16 and that she had updated my file. I immediately emailed her back stating that this was incorrect and that I had my tools for work on that truck (I am a hairstylist) and that I start work on 6÷15÷16 and my tools are needed for work. That is why I needed things delivered by ⁶⁄₁₀ as I had told this company from day 1! I was then emailed my Morgan Gunn– customer service– she told me that my ready date is not considered my delivery date. This was the first time I heard this. After I had made payments and put my things in their care. It was then that I was told legally from the DOT they had 1 – 18 business days to deliver my things. Since this day I have received emails and phone calls saying that my things will be delivered on a certain day and they are not. I have taken Sunday ⁶⁄₁₉ off and missed a full day of wages because Maya Sharif said my delivery truck would arrive. I was then called back by Maya saying my truck would not arrive Sunday but possibly on Monday or Tuesday. It is now Tuesday ⁶⁄₂₁ and I once again off work missing wages because I was told they would arrive today. I called customer service to ask if they knew what time the truck would be arriving today. Maya Told me she would contact the drivers and call me back in an hour. She called me back and said that they would not be arriving today and that it might be Wednesday or Thursday. At this point I became upset because I have now missed multiple days of work and have not had my proper tools for work and have jeopardized my job by having to miss work. I explained in detail to her how there have been several miscommunications with this company and now I am upset because I have missed days of work and am going to be late with my rent. I asked if I could be discounted on the rest of my payment because of the work I’ve missed. She said she couldn’t help me so she transferred me to Morgan Gunn in customer service. I once again explained all of this to Morgan. She said that they were still in their legal right of delivery in 1 – 18 days and that legally they did not have to discount my balance. I am very upset and stressed due to work and not knowing where my belongings are. She basically told me there’s nothing she can do. I asked to be transferred to someone who could help me. She said she was the manager and that no one could help me. I did lose my temper and said the f word. I apologized. I then hung up due to frustration of no one helping me. I contacted a mediation company Bark Back and they have contacted Oasis on my behalf. I have all emails and calls logged on my phone.

This is T H E worst moving company I have E V E R used bar none. Stay away from these people.
Let’s start with the pick up. I met with an Israeli man Named Guy. Guy is the crew boss. I told him of items I wanted to stay. He and his crew completely ignored what I said. They brought everything including the items I wanted left behind. I paid the company extra to have items packed that I couldn’t. And a lot of items were literally thrown into boxes closed up and unmarked.
We drove our RV towing a car and a truck towing a jeep. We took six days to get to Tennessee. Our furniture and everything took an additional 7 days to get to Tennessee. We were told by the company that our possessions would be there the day after out arrival. So we spent the night in our RV. well that turned into 6 more nights. I was lied to every day from Oasis Moving. Prepare yourself for the nightmares of moving. We have moved many times over the years. The other moves have been wonderful. This one not so much. Broken items, Missed delivery times, Overcharged for the distance between the trailer and the house. We paid more money because the trailer was over 70 feet from the house. This company charged extra if the movers had to walk more then 70 feet. Unbelievable! To make matters worse, I had to pay the balance owed in cash to the driver before he would even unlock the trailer.

We just received our items (after having to call to find out when it would be delivered) & my mattress was folded in half ?! Saran wrapped in half ??? Has anyone EVER had a mattress folded in half whilst moving ?! After specifying to have my WOOL RUG wrapped in Saran, oh they wrapped it, but firstly wrapping it in half (which I specified NOT TO DO) Dresser ruined, which is semi-​expected when moving but seriously… a folded in half mattress ?!? That has foil coils & a wool rug ?! I’m so shocked right now. From all the reviews the claim will take a thousand years & oh yeah, need I mention the $ 70 that was STOLEN OUT OF MY WALLET IN MY BEDROOM in which NO FURNITURE THAT HAD TO GO INTO THE MOVING TRUCK WAS LOCATED !!! DO NOT use this moving company… SCAM ALERT!!! This company is ripping off consumers. My move cost more than doubled from my estimate a 50% increase. The movers are now holding my items hostage until I pay. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the BBB. This kind of fraudulent activity should be stopped! The moving industry should be HIGHLY regulated but our voices remain silent.
Duplicating items purely lacking customer service is heartbreaking. How does a $ 564 balance increase to 2,300… Once called out on this fraud, you now want to 1,683.change the cost again. Something is gravely wrong with this picture. NOW you are holding my household items hostage and threatening to auction my personal belongs. This sound like a news worthy story, such activity has gone unnoticed for too long.
Please keep us in mind & make sure on other quotes they are not quoting you based on cubic feet (dollars per cube) those are against the law since 2005 and as seen on ABC 70% of first time shipper get scammed because moving companies sneak in a rate per cube which means they can double up on the volumes easily and there is no such thing as a cubic foot station to verify space so no matter how good the quote sounds its a scam.

They were very quick to take my money and damage my goods but take their sweet time paying me back whats owed!!!

Absolutely awful experience. Price gouging. Delivered two weeks passed agreed on date of delivery, 30%+ damaged boxes. Will never recommend or use again. Poor arrogant customer service. When they get your signatures they have you cornered with all of your belonging in their possession and they up all the charges once everything is loaded up.

Worst experience ever. I find them for the good price, but the lost they cause are way more than the price. They lost one of my working desk and four legs of another desk. Completely broken a coat hanger, also the box I shipped are broken and unpacked, lost lots of things. The mattress was full of awfully dirt… Worst of all they refuse to compensate according to the contract. The conclusion is everything is shipped on the good condition. And nothing is being lost!
Be careful when they deliver to your place, they asked you to sign on the contract then they are able to move it off the truck. I have no choice but to sign. And now they said you sign on it and agree it is on good condition…

ok. this is un update. i just had enough of this company. i am so mad for the past month i never thought and regret doing some things like dealing with this company. please do not ever even think about dealing with this company.
they delivered my stuff yesterday and i got a coffee table glasses shredded and a broken tv.

The worst thing you can do is even bother getting a quote. I am so happy I checked into them before I went with them. I foundation great lover yet their sales staff keeps calling me on 20 min intervals to tell me why it is the worst decision I could every make and if I ever need them they are there. –_​– don’t bother with this company. Find anyone else. I came across another company that was half the cost for my coast to coast move with a 5 star review average. These guys may as well be out of business.

Lets just say they do not communicate well. they don’t tell you anything. just read what we send you. tell you one thing and do another. so they tell me that they have 1 to 18 days to deliver my stuff after i advise them i want it. They send an email saying they have received my request (i emailed them the request and they email me back saying i have to call… really). they send me another email saying they put it in a truck and it will be here in 4 to 6 days. well when I call them on the 5^th day they have no idea about time frame. They can’t get a hold of the driver. was told the driver would call, he did not. i ask the to confirm that that since they are delivering it outside of what they promise they will not charge for having to deliver it on Monday, a holiday. they never call me back and when i call them they act like of course… one point I tell the delivery coordinator when she says she thinks they will be Saturday. but that is not the 18^th days or the 6^th day. I have taken time off from work for this. well am not looking at a calendar I am sure you are telling me the truth. you don’t have calendar handy a coordinator? when they came to pack my stuff i adv them of two items to plz be careful with them. they showed no
concerns about my concerns and when they arrived they were damage. they packed heavy boxes on lighter weight boxes so most of the things were smashed…

Awful! Jesse Moreno gave us a quote of $ 1988.80, from Nevada to Tenessee. Ok, great. He called everyday to confirm, basically to get the business. Today was moving day, the truck company said it would $ 6000. What? And they wouldn’t take it at the price quoted.
How could this be, I just got a quote on 6/​5, 5 days earlier it goes up $ 4k?
Everything is in storage and we gave the measurements of the storage unit. So what happened in 5 days?
Now no one is answering in the office, I’ve called 3 times no answer. And where is Jesse, all phone calls b4, now you don’t answer? Crazy. Stay away.

This Co. has been a nightmare from beginning to end! They are unloading our stuff as I’m typing this. We just watched the 3 movers drop my husbands Snap On Tool box not once but twice. Needless to say it’s destroyed!!! When I told the head mover that there was over $ 40,000 worth of tools in the box he smiled at me and said «wow tools are expensive huh». Also, almost every box is crushed on at least one corner. I’m so scared to open them. Insurance, you may be thinking! Sure for the bargain price of $ 800. Otherwise they’ll cover like 20 cents a pound, but they have so many stipulations that for most stuff they won’t even pay that. Please don’t use this company!!! Our quote was $ 3800 then AFTER they loaded our truck the price went to $ 7800!!! When we questioned it they said we could unload the truck ourselves or sign the contract. What can you do when u need to be out of a house that day??? They tell u one month free storage but if your stuff isn’t delivered to your new address within the first month they charge you $ 500 a month even if it’s only 1 day past the free 30 days! Also we asked for our stuff to be delivered on the 10^th of April, today is the 20^th. They said we were lucky, that they actually have 18 BUSINESS DAYS after the date you ask for!!!

WOW! This company is a NIGHTMARE!!! Super rude and unprofessional !!! Raised my estimated price $ 500 the morning of my actual move, their movers were VERY condescending and rude .
It took them 3 weeks to deliver my furniture, so I was sleeping on the floor for 3 weeks with my 1 year old child.
They were completely unwilling to accommodate me in any way as far as the delivery day that would also work for me not only for them. And when they finally delivered my furniture it was damaged (a lot of it was banged up, scratched and they completely lost one box (gave me someone else’s instead (after I let them know, they also had no interest in recovering the other persons stuff) and they lost the hardware from the babies crib, so (they took the crib apart) so I could not put the crib back together again. And this is just a very short description of all the damages. The list does not end.
If you still decide to hire this company after my review– make SURE you pay for extra insurance coverage. The representatives will not offer it, they will tell you «sign here!» — to where you get a only minimum coverage $ 0.60 per lb. They offered me refund $ 72 — not sure how they came up with the price since just the gorgeous armoire they ruined is at least 200 lb. and the couch they ripped a noter couple hundred lb…

Terrible. They came in a day earlier than the agreed day, forcing me to rush pack. They also came late.
During pick-​up: unprofessional service. The two guys weren’t even properly dressed. One guy was wearing sweat pants that kept on sagging, revealing his unholy butt crack. They say first flight of stairs is «free» but really, anything about 10 steps is $ 70 dollars. And they know that most second floors are above ten steps! They also use excessive amounts of tape that they charge you for. They will take down your furniture with you, but they won’t know what the hell they are doing! One guy just ripped a leg of my desk. They also left trash in my apartment expecting me to throw it away. The guy even asked to use my bathroom.
Upon arrival: my boxes were wet. They are supposed to rebuild any furniture they take down. When they were done moving, the guy said «well thats it» And I basically asked him to rebuild the furniture their colleagues took down. And then he just kept on complaining as if I’m making him do something he wasn’t obliged to do. Don’t they talk among themselves?
Stay away from these guys. Horrible. This is the first time I had to ever use a shipper and now I know to do careful research. If I had even only seen the Unilocal reviews, I would NOT have gone with them!

I wish I could give this company NEGATIVE stars! This was the WORST experience I have ever had. I could write a book on all my complaints.
First, they loaded all of my stuff onto the truck and locked and then said, I owed $ 1,000 more. I had no other option because they weren’t going to unload it. I tried to call Oasis REPEATEDLY but customer service doesn’t exist! SERIOUSLY, THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE… they do have some old, and extremely condescending and rude lady who will gladly never return your call.
Then, they promised that my stuff wouldn’t take no more than 5 days (or 7 at the LATEST) but after calling for 8 DAYS in a row to get an update without speaking to anyone I was finally told that my stuff hadn’t even left yet! Finally, my furniture just showed up with a 3 hour notice (but luckily I was home)
I’m missing items (Chef’s knife set, a scale, an a box of random stuff) and ALL the furniture items that they taped up were damaged. They also PUT TAPE ON THE SCREEN OF MY PLASMA TV… really? WHY?
I called to talk to the General Manager about everything going on — I assumed he’d be appalled at how his company was being run but surprise surprise… he is just a rude thug who defended everything and didn’t give a crap about ANYTHING!
I’m in the process of filing a complaint but I“m not holding my breath that anything will be done.

Ok so I been waiting MONTHS to write this review but I wanted to wait until the whole process was completely over so I can be as accurate as possible to people thinking of booking them and people who already have and have had issues.
Sales:
Moving from Las Vegas to Washington on an pretty tight budget, it was so important for me to have my stuff asap upon moving since I am self employed and work from home. I ended up choosing Oasis because of the quick sales response and because they are local I was told the move would be quick. I told them in several emails, I wanted my stuff picked up on the 24^th and delivered between the 1^st and the 3^rd. The salesman assured that wouldn’t be a problem and that I should have my stuff in 5 – 7 business days. Now the whole time, I am thinking perfect, it will be there in my time frame, but they do not actually count the business days until your first available delivery date. Therefore if it is an interstate move, and you say you will not be there until the 1^st, they will not begin the process of moving yourself until at LEAST that date.
Pickup:
They came to pick up my things, a few minutes later then scheduled but otherwise on time. This is when it started going downhill. They wanted to charge me an extra 800 for supplies but when I tried to ask what needed wrapping I never got a response so left the items I didn’t think needed it, uncovered. Being on a tight budget I didn’t have the extra they demanded so after talking to some people on the phone they approved another rate, cheaper but still much more then the agreed upon rate. I settled since I had no choice and had to be out of my complex the next day. They continued to take apart ALL of my furniture, was very careless with the tape when taping things up using plastic wrap, damaging a lot of the furniture. They only had one guy moving stuff down the stairs while the others disassembled and taped up other items. I will give the guy moving stuff props, he lifted and carried the whole futon down the stairs by himself. Go on with your bad self. They leave and leave my place a complete mess, empty tape rolls everywhere, plastic wrap everywhere.
In between:
Now fast forward to my new place, I am awaiting a call that weekend of the move, never got one. Try to reach them but am unable to. I receive on the 7^th an email, stating the delivery is being processed (so I guess this whole time it was hanging out in storage). In this email, it said 3 – 4 business days would be the estimate arrival and that the driver would call in advance to set up a time. Still being upset that it wasn’t on the way yet (and being without clothes, furniture, work papers, etc) I email customer service. They email me back saying I should get the stuff the 12^th or 13^th according to the driver. They were very rude and short and didn’t seem to care. I even forwarded the messages from sales to prove he said he would honor the arrival time I needed. Now, fast forward to the 12^th, still no items, still no calls. I email again. They say the SAME thing, it will be there next wed or thurs, the 20^th or 21^st. On the 20^th when I still didnt receive a call I had to email them again, they pretty much said there was nothing they could do and my load was the last on their truck. After exchanging some emails, they say it will be delivered on the 21^st. They claim its okay because its within 18 business days, but I was told different when placing the order.
The arrival:
Okay so, I am going to break down some major points here, and hope you read it. First of all, the driver calls the night before to set up a time. Now, heres the important part, THEY DO NOT DO THEIR OWN INTERSTATE MOVES. This is one of the reasons they fuck up so many orders. They say they are family operated and make you think its them all the way through the process, but the guy who shows up is just hired by them from a COMPLETELY different moving company. Granted, he was pretty nice BUT, then HE hires people from local moving companies to help him move it. So in reality your stuff if going from pickup to storage to person to person to person. I was trying to unpack what I could as they were bringing stuff in, several boxes were damages and taped up, several pieces of furniture damaged, lots of broken items. I got someone else’s box and when I told them, they took it back but I have a feeling it never made it anywhere. They didnt really want to put my furniture back together OR take off the pads that were so wrapped in plastic it made it hard.
The Claim Process:
Such bull. .60 a lb and over $ 1000 of damages and didnt even get $ 200 back. You have to fill out a ton of paperwork, take a ton of pictures, then get their quote notarized when you do hear back from them. I started processing the claim in May and JUST got the money. Anytime I wanted to inquire about the process, Oasis wouldnt respond. I could go on but I ran out of characters.

I have waited 13 fucking days for the same paper work I have on my phone that I took pictures of when your (oasis moving and storage) incompetent company dropped off all of my broken shit. I am not sure how any of you can sleep at night knowing that you destroyed a families personal belongings.

If I would have known that Oasis Moving and Storage was going to be chosen, I would have broken all of my shit before they came to pick it up… after all that is what the company, on the internet ( Unilocal) is known for. As both companies probably know by now, 2 federal complaints with the department of transportation have been filed along with BBB complaints. I am not done with the filings. I have been told by Oasis Moving and Storage’s drivers that they «have never seen damage like this». I have also been told by Stephanie at Moving APT that she has never seen damage to this extent either. Now whether or not you are trying to kiss my ass or not is irrelevant at this point.
I have done my research on both of your companies and know that you both are small shops under 15 employees. I am truly sorry that we chose to do business this way. I don’t come from this type of shady, blindsiding way of doing business.
We were quoted by Moving APT roughly $ 2,700 for the move. When the ever so professional, handle with care (by care I mean treat your things like garbage) showed up at 10 pm PST (what the fuck?, my wife was home alone… really??? who does this!!!), the quote went to just over $ 4,000. To give an example of how to charge for more space, we don’t even own a king mattress and it is CLEARLY on the bill. Sorry for not reading every tiny little illegible fucking line. Maybe tighten up your hiring requirements and hire people that can write and have eye site.
As for the ‘Customer Service” at Oasis moving and Storage, don’t you dare tell me that I am being impatient when you have a bed to sleep in, glasses to drink out of and baby furniture that is not fucked up. You should be shut down. No wonder you are a cash only business. What an idiot I am…
This is not over. I will be contacting all of the people that left bad reviews for Oasis Moving and Storage. I will be contacting a lawyer, damages are over $ 500 in the state my personal belongings were picked up in does not considered this small claims.

I have never used a moving company before, so I don’t have anyone to compare them to…
Initially everything was great (before they came to pick up my furniture). My representative (Ty Pierce), he gave me 10 free rolls of tape and was very helpful. When the movers showed up (AAZ Moving and Storage), they charged me $ 70 per flight of stairs and $ 85 for a long carry, which I totally understand. Packing material was outrageous though: $ 7 for a medium box and $ 1 per foot of bubble wrap (not including labor… which doubled the price) Fortunately I didn’t have to use much, but it still cost me an additional $ 118.
They were definitely the cheapest of all the moving companies I called, so that’s probably the reason why all their moving materials are so expensive. They also have another trick they use to get the price up.
The movers were kind, but after they packed my stuff, they gave me an estimate of my actual weight, which was 4,400 lbs. Which wouldn’t be so bad, but I was originally quoted 3,000 lbs when I described what I had that needed to be shipped. That translated into an additional $ 1500 (my original quote was $ 1560). It doubled the price! Seriously!!! I told the guy that I can’t afford it and so I can’t accept the estimate. He told me that I would probably have to pay more if they got an official weight… and that everyone takes the estimate. I told him sorry and that I can’t accept that outrageous estimate. So he had to call someone to tell him it was a nonbinding estimate.
I was sick to my stomach because I couldn’t afford the moving if his estimate was actually close to reality (I just graduated from school). A few days later, I got a call with the actual weight and it was 3,400 lbs. That’s 1,000 lbs lower than his «estimate.» I couldn’t believe it! What a cheat and deceptive trick. DON’T ACCEPT THEIR ESTIMATE! The extra 400 lbs from my original estimate was probably the blankets they used to wrap my furniture.
I moved from Boston, MA on June 27, 2009 to Denver, CO. Oasis said they would try to have my furniture by July 11^th (the date I requested), but the furniture showed up on July 26. Not very convenient because I travel frequently for work and arranged to be home on the 11^th. I think the most frustrating thing was that I have been calling Oasis Moving & Storage and AAZ Moving & Storage (the group they outsourced my delivery to) almost every day since July 11 to find my furniture, but it wasn’t until July 22 did they actually tell me where my furniture was (I was concerned they lost it). Well, it turns out that my furniture was in Florida for some reason.
Well, the furniture made it safely to my new home with only a few casualties, but I have to say they weren’t the most helpful and it was frustrating to wait for my furniture for so long. But, they were cheap. Still, I don’t think I could refer them to any of my friends.
