Old SheepDog Defense is dedicated to providing realistic defensive training to honest citizens who need to protect themselves and others from society’s wolves.

At Old SheepDog Defense we believe that it is every honest citizen’s duty to protect their flock, whether your flock is only you, or you and your family– your duty is to guard against the wolves of society. We further believe that it is our duty as experienced and professional use of force trainers to supply you with the skills and abilities needed to protect your flock.

Our goal at Old SheepDog Defense is to enable you to Protect Your Flock. To accomplish this goal we continually develop, research and present relevant use of force training based on current legal decisions and our student’s needs and abilities. No matter what specialized conditions exist we have either developed or will specifically develop a program to fit your individual or organizational needs.

History

Established in 2011.

We specialize in training individuals in the skills necessary to win, not just survive armed confrontations.

To that end our company is owned by and only hire’s Experienced Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors– your instructor will have proven law enforcement coaching, instructing and tutoring credentials!

Our story: After watching, taking and paying for classes put on by other instructors who rely on mere attendance in advanced courses to establish their bonafides, we found there were very few qualified ‘firearms educators’ in existence.

Old SheepDog’s educational practices are based on sound University education principles and more than three decades of hands on teaching experience. We have advanced degrees in Adult Learning Principles and Criminal Justice in addition to having attended, taught and developed numerous instructor level courses for various local, state and federal government agencies.
