Was at the Palazzo for a conference and needed a gluten free healthy choice within my per diem. Was not disappointed! Located along the canal in St Marc square of the the Palazzo, Otto Enoteca offers excellent pizza and farm to table salads(the Arugal salad with shaved fresh Parma is amazing) as well as a host of gluten free and traditional pastas. Taste was precise and authentic. Great wine list for a pizzeria pairing well with the food, exactly what you would expect from Chef Mario Batali.

This is one of my favorite places to dine at in Vegas! First off, it’s located in Saint marks square in the Venetian. It has«outside» patio seating and indoor wine rooms. The décor is warm and home-y and it has a live show with a band that plays classical music every hour. The ceilings are around 80 feet and they’re beautifully painted and they resemble clouds so it feels as if you’re outside! The food and service are both spectacular! I have tried the braised pork shoulder and it was so tender and flavorful and the cucumber salad on top was great! I also had the rigatoni pasta with veal and it was so rich and hearty. The veal was cooked to perfection and it was very savory! I also tried the caprese salad which was to die for. It was during a time that they had cherry tomatoes in season and I liked the sweetness of it. The deserts they had to offer were also so amazing! They had pistachio and olive oil gelato and it was so creamy and amazing! The service was great! Everyone on staff from the managers to the servers and even the hosts were all so kind and warm! I love this place and want to continue coming back for as long as possible!

Was there for dinner last sunday. Had a pizza and did not like it. Crust was too thin for my taste and too much sauce. I was expecting a real Italian pizzeria not pizza with meatballs. Beer was good. Had a Menabrea Amber.

Wellllll, I’m underwhelmed! I ordered the Penna alla Norma and it should be renamed penna alla boring! Not too tastebud tantalizing! My husband ordered the veal and ricotta meatballs with polenta. He claimed it was«good, just not exceptional.» We then ordered gelato which was soupy! Not a thick rich consistency that clings to your tongue and the roof of your mouth! Flavors were thin! Lastly, the stools at the bar were uncomfortable!!! I won’t be back!

A big thanks to Joe Bastianich and Mario Batali for making my last Vegas meal a memorable one! From the Moscato to the olives to the arugla salad and my pasta all the way to the coffee and tiramisu, it was divine. I can’t eat for days I’m so full and content! Everything was seasoned and prepared perfectly. I felt like the chefs were in the kitchen waiting for my next order. The tiramisu and coffee are a must. The staff were very prompt and professional. You will not run out of refreshments, nor will a finished dish sit ungathered for long. Bravo!

This was my top pick when planning our visit to Vegas, and it didn’t let me down! I had the braised pork shoulder which was unbelievable– I’m still dreaming about it. My husband got a pizza, which was large enough to bring about half of it back to the hotel for a late night snack. The service was as great as the food, and we were«outside» so we got to watch a performance on the stage in the square as we ate our lunch, which only added to the experience. We had such a great time and a great meal. So thankful for the experience.

Make sure to sit at the bar to get the happy hour antipasti and peroni deal. Service leaves a bit to be desired. A lot of servers milling around chatting with one another or checking their phones instead of waiting on customers. The antipasti were tasty: roasted tomato bruschetta, gnocchi fritti, and the pane e mozzarella. Peroni were cold and crisp, as they should be. It’d be a four star spot based on food alone, but the service brings it down.

Extremely over price for the quality of food. Pasta was dry and my guest and I were very disappointed. I do not recommend this place. I wish they had s better food selection.

One of the nicer spots on Vegas; Otto offers outdoor seating(indoor ;) There is usually a performance in the courtyard that can be entertaining. Our server(Riva, i think) was fantastic and very well acquainted with the menu. The service in general was very good here. The food: lets start with the desert — the dark chocolate item on the menu is a must get. The gelato is delicious! The bread pudding is picture perfect; however it was a bit dry(compared to others I’ve had). The appetizers — The fried cauliflower was delicious and decent quantity to share with atleast ¾ people. The Pan e formaggio served here was really just fried cheese balls, this was not that great and I wish they had stuck with the bread and cheese slices. After all of that, there was no room for the main course ;) Kidding. The cauliflower pizza was ok, ask about their specials.

Our last stop on our 3-day Batali restaurant trifecta! We saved the best for last ;-) I can’t thank Paulo, Otto GM, enough for taking such good care of us on our 3-day food fest! Otto is a casual Italian enoteca in St. Marks Square — feels like you’re outside but you’re inside, listening to opera singers strolling by or watching performers. So much fun! And the food! Otto is the place we learned what slow dining is all about — taking time to savor the flavor and enjoy time with family/friends. We typically start with a selection of meats and cheeses that are served with a trio of condiments: truffle honey, brandied cherries, and an apricot mustardo. This is wonderful, leisurely way to start the meal as we sip on a glass of rose prosecco. My husband loves the pickled vegetables too! After that, we nibble on some cauliflower frittelle with a little fresh lemon drizzled on top — so amazingly good — and the ricotto fritters(heavenly little bites). The salads are fun too, especially as they change with the seasons, and we all shared an Arugula and Shaved Parmigiano salad. By this time we’re about halfway through our first bottle of wine. I swear the wine list is like walking inside a candy store with colorful beakers of sweet goodies surrounding you from floor to ceiling. The choices! It’s always an adventure to pick a wine, something that we hadn’t had before. And the sommeliers are always so very helpful — let them help you find a nice bottle to share with your meal. No need to be shy, just let them know how much you’d like to spend and they’ll find something wonderful in your price point. We enjoyed several bottles of wine on this particular visit during our four-hour meal. A hit of the night was the 2008 Arcanum, and we also enjoyed the 2011 Promis. The menu is seasonal, and there was a pizza that Nick fell in love with at a previous visit so that was next on the list: a beautiful crust with bitter greens and an egg on top that you break open and spread. And then the pasta: Ravioli di Brasato, Bread Gnocchi, and Bucatini Alla Gricia(off-menu item; they serve this in their NY restaurant). The Bread Gnocchi was so light & fluffy — little clouds of goodness! I love guanciale, and the Bucatini Alla Gricia was such a savory dish — I would definitely do this again! A bread pudding was presented for dessert, and this was not like any bread pudding I’ve had before. It was a Warm Apple Bread Pudding with a caramel bourbon sauce and yes, served with a dollop of cinnamon gelato. Oh. My. Whatever you do, do NOT skip dessert. Anything you order will be sublime. Dum vivimus, vivamus(while we live, let us really live)!

I had a great time dining with friends at Otto’s. I’m wavering on my rating. Three and a half stars seems right. We started with Arancini as an appetizer and it was very good. Arancini is stuffed rice balls, coated with breadcrumbs and then fried. It was crispy on the outside, and the inside was filled with a delicious combination of cheese and jalapeños. I ordered the Seafood alla Diavola. This dish had a nice variety of seafood in a spicy tomato-based broth. The seafood was fresh and included mussels, fish, shrimp, and squid. The broth was flavorful, but only spicy in spots(whenever I found a pepper). I thought it was good, but not outstanding. The open air(simulated outdoors) restaurant has a lively atmosphere. We were seated at a table adjacent to the walkway. It was very loud at our table because of the pedestrian traffic and music performed in the open space. The service was adequate, but our waiter could have been more attentive. The service should be exceptional in a restaurant like this, especially with all the other competition in Vegas. Overall, I thought it was a good dining experience. A safe choice for casual dining.

Another Mario Batali restaurant in the Venetian. I believe he has four restaurants here. We came here during lunch and ordered two pizzas. It’s a little pricey compared to Grimaldi’s($ 42 for two personal size pizza’s compared to $ 22 for a large pie at Grimaldi’s) but I was surprised how much I liked it. The crust was nice and crispy. I liked the prosciutto arugula pizza. The Margherita pizza was good but at $ 21 they could of added more buffalo mozzarella cheese. There are a lot of pizza places at the Venetian, so pick the one that has the best value for you. You can go casual or upscale like Otto.

The idea of eating inside the mall doesn’t appeal to me but the food at Otto is always so satisfying that I go back again and again. The pizzas are thin and crispy. They’re good to have one for the table and share along with the pastas. The pasta portions are smaller than an average restaurant but great with the pizza. Mario Battali’s bucatini all’Amatriciana is a must try.

It was time for a happy hour snack which starts at 3. We opted to sit at the bar and enjoy a few small plates. They have a sampler that is 3 for $ 5, so we had a little bit of everything. Tasty Salami, Mortadella, Olives, Bruschetta, deep fried bread balls stuff with cheese and roasted beets with Saba. After the small plates it was some some deep fried squash blossoms filled with delicious ricotta cheese. Excellent choice I must say. We wanted to try something a bit heartier, so it was the short rib ravioli up next. Very tasty and a generous portion. The only drawback is the ravioli could of had more short rib meat inside, but still flavor tasty. The final course was some tasty cheese with cherries, apricot and black truffle honey. An enjoyable afternoon and tasty snack at this Batali restaurant.

This place is beautiful. It’s in the Venetian mall area and looks like youre eating outside but youre really inside. The service was good. The prices were high — but hey it’s the Venetian so you can’t expect anything else. Ok so here’s the whammy. We ordered a margherita pizza and a pepperoni pizza for the group. The margherita was excellent. The pepperoni… was DISGUSTING. The pepperoni was rotten!!! So gross. After trying to tell us that was supposed to be the taste, they ended up replacing it with another margherita. Good place. Just don’t order that nasty«pepperoni».

After my mediocre experience at B&B I needed my faith restored in Mario Batali since the dishes I tried were good but nothing out of this world. I have been a fan of his for many years and was left disappointed with my dining experience at B&B. Otto is located in Plaza San Marco and has outside seating which adds to the ambience. Performers in the Plaza sing every couple of hours so we were lucky to catch one of the shows. First We ordered the Burrrata and cherry tomatoes which was amazing. The pesto added the perfect balance with the sweetness of the cherry tomatoes. We also ordered the Prosciutto de Parma which was thinly sliced and was a perfect match for the Burrata. Lastly we had the sausage and pepper pizza. The pizza crust was thin and crispy and the contrast of the spicy sausage and the sweet peepers was a great pairing of flavors. Thanks To Otto my faith has now been restored and all is well. This is a great place for a quick lunch or a nice dinner since there are other Italian dishes offered other than pizza.

Mario, you need to get back there and fix it. Unacceptable! Portion sizes are meager for the price, the table settings are bland and boring, not even a placemat? Come on! The broccoli rabe was inedible. I had to send it back, and I rarely send back food. Anyone who knows how to cook this vegetable knows that this time of year is the end of the season and the stems are tougher and need to be sliced or chopped and cooked separately to soften them up before adding the leaves. None of my party of 5 had anything positive to say about the food. The meatballs in my colleagues meatballs were literally the size of meatballs you put on as a pizza topping. He couldn’t stop talking about how small they were. Laughable if it wasn’t for the price we paid. I’m normally more cordial and constructive in my comments but this meal was offensive. I’d give it one star but the hostesses, servers and manager were both nice and professional. Your empire is only as good as its foundation, which is the quality of your food, the value of the experience and the customers willing to pay for it. Forget that at your peril.

Located at the St. Mark’s Square at the Venetian is a hidden gem. We did not have reservations and were told the wait for a table outside would be around 45 minutes. If we opt for inside at the wine cellar room we could be seated immediately. Although the atmosphere outside would have added to the meal we decided to sit inside due to time. I was surprised at how warm that room was. Next time I will remember to make reservations for outside. My first time here and I did not have much expectations but I knew it must be good because it is a Mario Batali’s restaurant. We had been to a place of his in New York and I loved his food. We ordered a few appetizers to share, a pizza and a pasta. I highly recommend getting the 5 items of vegetables. We ordered the olives, the beets, the eggplant, the parsnips and pickles. Super delicious!!! We ordered the fried mozzarella spedini and sweet potato croquette. They told me both were tasty. My family really enjoyed the pizza and said best pizza ever. I did not try the pizza nor the pasta due to my wheat belly challenge. They told me the crust is thin and crispy. Usually due to the sauce, thin crust pizza gets soggy but this pizza bottom was crispy throughout. The broccoli rabe pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. I did not have the pasta but did try some sausage and the broccoli rabe and that tasted amazing. We did not have room for dessert but left with a happy belly. We will definitely be back for more.

Located inside the shopping area inside the Venetian, this Batali restaurant was awesome. Most people that dine here are able to sit on the patio so that they can people watch while they enjoy some delicious food. We didn’t make reservations and were seated inside the wine room. Only complaint was that it was pretty stuffy inside which I thought was weird considering the amount of wine they had nearby on the shelves. As we were browsing the menu, a server brought over the water along with some bread . We opted to share a few appetizers which included the sweet potato croccheta and the spiedini . Both were fried to a dark golden brown and were tasty. Highly recommend the spiedini as it came out hot and was like eating a gooey cheese melt. Next appetizer we shared was an assorted vegetable antipasti which comprised of the following marinated olives, eggplant caponata, roasted parsnips, roasted cauliflower, and the otto pickles. All were tasty but be warned that the pickles have a very very strong vinegar taste to them which people may/may not like. We then shared the prosciutto and arugula pizza . I cannot tell you how good this pizza was! The crust was crispy throughout and combination of prosciutto, mozarella cheese and their sauce was amazing! This is where the vast majority of pizzerias that serve thin crust pizzas fail as it’s soggy in the middle of the pizza. Next up was the gemelli pasta which consisted of their homemade sausage with broccoli rabe bits . The sausage once again did not disaapoint and was simply awesome. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the broccoli rabe and sausage combination was to die for. Batali did not disappoint once again and I wouldn’t hesitate to dine here again when in Vegas.
