Periodontics Limited

At 74 I had a badly receded upper gum (nearly to the top of the bone) on a upper front canine tooth. My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Mantour’s office. On my first visit I quickly informed Dr. Mantour that while I was a Viet-​Nam Veteran, a former Gunnery Sergeant in the Marines and a retired 25 year law enforcement officer, I was also the world’s foremost coward and was terrified of dentists and the pain they inflicted. He thought I was kidding! He explained how they would cut part of the roof of my mouth out and use it as a skin graft sewing it over the tooth. I opted to have him put me out via gas! On the day of the procedure, in one of my most heroic acts ever, I showed up, sat down and submitted to the doctor’s care. We chatted a little, and then I noticed everything was being put up and he began to give me the «post-​operative» care directions. I had not felt, heard or even realized anything having been done to me!!! I made several followup visits to insure the skin graft was property taking and healing which it has done beautifully. Their office is easy to get to and find parking at and the office itself is very clean, quiet and professional. The staff is caring, explain in simple terms everything they will be doing and go out of their way to insure your comfort and that you are at ease, quit a feat in my case! Believe me when I saw I’ve been butchered by some really horrible old time «hammer and thongs» dentists but Dr. Trylovich and his staff are galaxies away from those days in their professionalism, competence and obvious desire to provide the patient with a comfortable and pain free experience! How I wish I had had such care all those years before this, as I know I would have far better teeth than I do today!

I have had the opportunity twice in the past few years to need the service of Dr. Trylovich and his staff. I have had a life time of teeth issues due to a genetic bite problem. As a result, I have learned to checkout the doctors that I allow to work in my mouth! I called two local friends who happen to be dentists in Las Vegas to see who I should use for a couple of needed implants? Both friends told me to go to Dr Trylovich! I could not be happier with that decision! I found the staff to be friendly & caring. Dr Trylovich was a true professional from start to finish and completely cared about the treatment I received! I will not go anywhere else in the future! Thank you for the great service!

Dr. Gifford and his staff are wonderful to work with! I had complications from a surgery I had done out of state. Dr. Gifford and his staff were very knowledgeable and professional. They were able to assess and resolve the situation very quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Gifford and his staff for any periodontal work you may need! They are fantastic!

Dr. Gifford and his staff are amazing. I was very nervous and everyone there eased my worries as soon as I walked in. I never felt the shots to numb my mouth and his staff made sure I had proper instructions post surgery. I even left with the ice pack and Advil.
Follow up appointments were quick and never had a problem with the billing of my insurance.
Overall it was a great experience for a bad situation.

Moved here a few months ago and was overdue for periodontal cleaning. Made an appt based on Unilocal review and I could not be happier! The office staff is very professional and so willing to accommodate your needs. From Felicia that took my initial call, to Cherry who did the X-​rays, to the ever so patient and professional Dr. Mantor, Diane the insurance «guru» and lastly Shelly the hygienist that was so kind and extremely informative. this place ROCKS! If you are looking for a high tech, professional and patient friendly periodontics practice, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Gifford is the most amazing professional, ethical, kind, concerned man. He is a gentleman and a genius. His patience is never ending and he treated me with the utmost respect and kindness.
I had a big procedure done and I was extremely hesitant and overwhelmed. No matter HOW many times I needed to speak with him or his staff, I was shown unlimited patience and concern.
This is a tough town to find decent dentists or doctors. Dr. Gifford has never, ever disappointed me!
I am truly blessed and thankful. If I had listened to another dentist, I would have spent $ 8000 and lost my teeth anyway.

To say the least They are the most professional, knowledgable pleasant, staff I have aver seen, starting from the front desk all the way in.
In addition to their hospitality. They really know what they are doing, they explain the process in advance so you know what to expect.
I went there because I was referred by my dentist so I was a little apprehensive since I never been there before., now I will make sure that my family and friends including myself will never go anywhere else .
Sterility and cleanness were definitely JACHO (or their equivalent) approved .
As an OR nurse myself I look for details when it comes to health care, I was so pleased to see that they really make sure that they follow the standards of care.

First Dr. Gifford evened my gum line and did a crown lengthening in December 2013 and I could not get over how great my smile looked after. I had been considering a second treatment with braces before the gum surgery but no longer think I need it with the even gum line, that’s how great it looks!
Then a few months later, I had an unusual accident when my baby head– butted me during a fit and knocked my front tooth crown out of my mouth. It fractured the post in the root of my tooth and I had to have (in my opinion) an emergency tooth implant to restore my front tooth. Not only did Dr. Gifford get me in right away, but with the IV sedation, I woke up with an implant not remembering a thing! I was so relieved! After a few months, and careful monitoring by Dr. Gifford to ensure the implant grafted properly, my dentist, Dr. Tomita, was able to place a permanent tooth onto the implant and people are amazed at how great my teeth look! Dr. Gifford did an incredible job with my implant and the normal «dropping» that occurs as an implant grafts did not happen to my implant. Dr. Gifford did a solid job and my implant has not shifted at all from the day it was implanted a year ago.
I recommend Dr. Gifford to everyone who asks about it as well as my dentist, Dr. Tomita. I finally have the smile I’ve wished for since I was a preteen with severely over crowded teeth. It took me 25 years to find these two amazing dental professionals but they are worth the wait! Do not hesitate to make Dr. Gifford your periodontist if you’re in need of one. He’s AMAZING!!! (Great bedside manner too!!!)

Just had a crown lengthening procedure performed today by Dr. Goaslind, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My teeth look beautiful even though my gums will take several weeks to heal so I can’t imagine how great they will look when fully healed and when my braces are removed!
I had IV «twilight» sedation and I don’t remember the procedure, no pain, no swelling, no nothing negative! So if you’re squeamish or the slightest bit nervous about having surgery, never fear and opt for IV sedation.
I was recommended this place by both my general dentist and oral surgeon and it’s easy to see why they think Periodontics Limited is «the best [periodontists] place in town.» Highly recommended!
