Posare Salon

This branch is one of seven or so in Vegas. There’s one much closer to home, but the hairdresser I’ve been using for years moved to this one, and I followed.
This place is BIG, modern and comfortable. So far, I’m a happy customer. I can’t comment on the prices, because I’m being charged what I paid at her former location. The prices may be up to the individual stylist, since they probably pay rent for their chair. But the salon probably has a price list for new customers or walk-​ins. I don’t ask and I don’t tell.

Called the salon and asked if they had any stylist that knew how to do a balayage ombré and I was recommended to Leticia. So I came in and decided to get my hair done by her because I wanted my hair done for my bfs graduation. When I met her she was very friendly and I felt confident that she knew what she was doing because it seemed like she does. But I was wrong. I regretted coming in, she kept telling me «omg it’s going to look cute…». I told her I wanted a look like Khloes K’s hair but it was way far from that. My hair was a brassy orange and it had blotches of bleach in places it shouldn’t be. I caught a few and told her to fix it but it was still visible. I paid $ 120 for something that looked hideous. I was so pissed. Ladies, don’t ever get your hair done by someone whom you haven’t actually seen their work. I had to get my hair done again the following week at a different salon and spent the same price and they fixed her mess.

I made an appointment with Kassy the hairdresser and she wasn’t at the salon. According to the receptionist, she thought the appointment was at 1:30pm instead of the 3:30pm we’ve agreed on and that she wasn’t feeling good so she decided to go home and rest.
First of all, there is no way I would have made an appointment before 3:30pm because my husband does not get off work until 3pm and he needs to be home to stay with the kids while I get my hair done.
Second of all, if someone doesn’t show up on time, wouldn’t it be a smart idea to give the client a call to follow up?
Lastly, I understand that we all feel under the weather sometimes and it’s something we never plan to happen but if you don’t feel good and you don’t feel like showing for an appointment, simply call and reschedule! It’s the least you could do.
I don’t usually rate or comment on services good or bad but this time was just a big waste of time. I have a very busy schedule and I called around looking for availability and when someone is so inconsiderate and unprofessional as Kassy, I feel I owe it to other people to let them know about it so they won’t fall victim as I did.

I wanted to get my hair colored w/​purple highlights and my friend recommended Ivonne. I was hesitant at first because the last time I had my hair colored my hair was destroyed. But my friend always got her colored all types of diff colors all the time by Ivonne and it always looked good. So I went and she did an amazing job on my hair! She was VERY knowledgeable about hair color treatment and how to maintain. She was very patient with me and wasn’t rushing even though we were running behind. I definitely recommend Ivonne and will be coming back for a diff color!

Ivone was very knowledgable and helpful. She really had a great understanding of curly hair, as she was previously a hair stylist in Brazil. However, she didn’t have much experience with ethnic hair, and the keratin deep conditioning treatment worked as well as if I put conditioner on my hair and let it sit. BUT she was a doll and very good at was she does, so I would recommend her to anyone that doesnt have ethnic hair. She did a great job on my roots (dye) and hair cut!
