Hi There! My name is Gina S., and I am head of Business Development at Precision Air. My family has been in the air conditioning and heating business for more than 40 years. I have lived in Las Vegas for many blistering Hot Summers, so I understand that when your HVAC equipment isn’t working as well as it should, you want cooling Fast! My goal is to make sure that you, our customer, is taken care of by one of our knowledgeable air conditioning technicians. I called and they came with a portable unit to cool my office then went to work fixing my A/​C.

Called Precision when one of my units stopped operating. My AC units are 3 years old. Technician wanted to replace compressor. I showed him the warranty for parts. I asked the tech if he had looked at both units. He had not. He wanted to double charge me to look at the second unit. There was clear MISrepresentation when I called to set the appointment.
He said he had to call his boss Ernie to discuss. Ernie gave me a big story that in essence would make me pay for parts that are under warranty. He began to apologize for his technician (Leo) whom he claimed had a bad foreign accent. The tech was fine. He had no accent and was very courteous; just following orders.
I came off the call with the sense that Ernie is dishonest and something of a bigot. Avoid Precision and Ernie. They are out to rip you off especially if he thinks you’re from a different culture than him.
Ignore the inflated reviews on their website (5 stars is a joke). They claim 5 stars on Unilocal,when it’s 2 stars after my review.
I give it 1 star because zero stars is not an option.

I hate to be adding fuel to the fire but I’ve also had a horrible experience with Precision Air. Total salesmen and nothing more. I used Precision Plumbing’s services and they said that as part of their work I would be able to get a diagnostic of my A/​C unit. Don’t know why a plumbing company is getting in the business of A/​C repair but whatever. Didn’t really care to use it but one of their customer service reps called my house and asked if I wanted to get a diagnostic of my A/​C unit. Not thinking anything of it I said yes. Tech comes out and first thing he does is ask whether he can use my hose that has no nozzle to clean my A/​C unit. I ask him where is his equipment and tell him how is he going to throughly clean my unit if he has no nozzle. There will be no pressure. He shrugs and asks if I have a nozzle. I give him the nozzle and he’s up there just spraying the unit with water (after the fact I asked around and the other companies stated that there is a special chemical they use to clean the unit; in addition you want a high pressure hose because all the dust on your unit will turn to gunk and mud if you are just dousing it with water). Tech gets done and then proceeds to say that I need to replace my capacitor. I ask him how much and he says $ 397.00! (After the fact I was told by some companies I called that normally a capacitor is around $ 80). Thankfully I said thanks but no thanks. Furthermore, don’t know what the tech did but my A/​C unit is now blowing hot air and now has a problem when it did not have one before. Now I have to call someone else to fix their mess .All in all do not call Precision Air. They are a bunch of salespeople who just want to make money off of you. I’d give them zero or negative stars if possible. And to the Precision Air owners, get rid of the goofy Unilocal deal. I would pay you guys NOT to go anywhere near my A/​C unit.

Too bad I give these guys a negative star… my upstairs ac was blowing hot air and I called precision air to come and give me a diagnostic. The tech was here Sunday afternoon and told me that to repair my unit would be between $ 4200 and $ 4800 to repair. He said I needed a new capacitor and motor or I could just replace the whole unit. I decided to get a second opinion. Thank the good Lord I did because they were definitely trying to rip us off. I had the parts replaced for $ 500. Quite the difference. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will charge you way more than what they should.

WARNING!!! Do not do business with them!!! The are total frauds!!! They charged me twice as much as the normal amount for a small repair at my home. I would never use them again unless I want to get ripped off again!!!
