History

Established in 2012.

Dr. Jackson founded Prestige Laser and Cataract Institute based on the principles of excellence, compassion, and outreach. PLCI has invested in the latest technologies in surgical and diagnostic equipment to help provide world-​class eye care. Each member of the staff treat the patients like family and will assist patients in every step of their visit. Dr. Jackson believes in giving back to the community and has dedicated a portion of every dollar earned to helping the less fortunate.

Dr. Jackson is expertly trained in the fields of refractive surgery, glaucoma, diabetes, neuro-​ophthalmology, pediatrics, trauma and primary care of the eye. He completed his medical doctorate degree at the prestigious Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Jackson continued his training in advanced eye surgery and medical management of the eye at the world renowned Texas Medical Center at Houston. His education and subsequent experience have made Dr. Jackson an unparalleled specialist.

Dr. Jackson returned home to Las Vegas in 2010 to practice Ophthalmology. He loves to teach and help his patients understand their eye conditions fully.

Dr. Jackson was born and raised with his ten brothers and sisters in Las Vegas. He graduated from Bonanza High and deferred college to serve a two year mission for his church in Guatemala. While serving in Guatemala, Dr. Jackson learned and became fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Jackson is married and has five wonderful children.
