Sambalatte

I ended up here for something sweet since the ice cream shop next door was closed for the night.
I ordered the «Not Your Grandmother’s Hot Chocolate.» It had a nice spicy kick from the pepper they use, ranking it a notch above your usual cinnamon Mexican hot chocolate.
Minus one star for adding whipped cream when I deliberately told them to add none. Was too tired to complain.

We thought the coffee was good. But not too great of an impression. The designs weren’t fully there on the coffee. However, the atmosphere was nice & relaxing. We almost forgot that we were in Vegas. It’s definitely a one time deal coffee shop though.

An oasis away from the music, hustle and hooker cards of the Strip.
Awesome place to recharge after a bender. Service is prompt, coffee is great.
Nuff said!

Decided to check this place out after looking at Unilocal as the best coffee in Vegas. Not a lot of people at 10 am on a Friday morning but that means faster service! I ordered the Red Rock latte, which had cinnamon and hazelnut flavours. They made the flower in the foam and the coffee was strong, slightly sweet and smooth. A fine latte! This will definitely be my go-​to Café in Vegas! Will definitely try the other lattes and the regular drip coffee. A nice Café as well. I saw some board games to play while hanging out in the café. Seats outside with the heat lamps. Only gripe was the price tag $ 6 for a latte. Even though that’s not the most I’ve paid for a latte, but with the low Canadian dollar right now, that turns into like $ 8 for a latte. Too much!

Good experience & coffee! Really enjoyed the Nutella latte! :) Steampunk coffee a great choice for those who appreciate coffee without added milk or sweetener

The coffee here is delicious! I had the Nutella Latté, same price as the Caramel Latté ($ 5.75) but was definitely richer than any latte than I’ve had. Really satisfied.
If you like to watch sports: there are 2 flat screens facing the 2-​people tables and comfy couches
If you are trying to do work: there is a large 6-​people table with plenty of table top outlets. The cherry on top is that you get access to the free Monte Carlo wifi

Stopped here often during my stay at the Monte Carlo. The ambiance is very nice and occasionally you can see little sparrows wander their way in here. I enjoyed their Chai latte and had a specialty rose petal latte that was nice and light as well. The Ham and cheese croissant is delicious here!

Nice little coffee shop located inside of the Monte Carlo with the a very nice feel to it. I had a nice food and beverage credit that I wanted to take advantage of during my stay. Since I wasn’t really in the mood for coffee per say I decided to go with one of the smoothies that they offer. The gentleman working I am assuming must’ve been new there because when I asked him what was in a specific smoothie he didn’t know… but were were able to confirm with another employee as to what the actual ingredients were! All in all I can’t say that I would break my neck to get back down here to visit again but if I’m staying on another hotel promotion that includes a food and beverage credit, by all means!

We discovered this place while wandering the strip. Their specialty lattes sounded really good so we had to get one. Ended up getting the rose petal latte. They do their lattes right. The rose latte had a subtle rose-​y essence and beautiful latte art. This place is super cozy and has a great coffee shop vibe.
I would definitely come here for coffee rather than the Starbucks in the casinos that tend to be overpriced with not very good coffee. Don’t get me wrong – I do love my Starbucks, but the casino versions are just overall not great.

Great décor and vibe. Ordered their recommended drink — Nutella latte. Delicious. Clean seating area, friendly wait staff. We didn’t wait to be served.

«Sip, savour, and socialize.» It sounds like a 2016 New Resolution. It is the Sambalatte catchphrase. It is a fitting catchphrase because in recent times I have sipped, savoured, and socialized in the Monte Carlo Las Vegas Strip side Sambalatte.
Sip:
I am a fan of Sambalatte coffee. Before they built both this and the relatively new Jones Boulevard locations, I would spend time in the original Summerlin location relishing the savory taste of their exceptional drip coffee. It is a taste that is equally as inviting on the Las Vegas Strip. The coffee is so first-​rate that additional flavoring and syrups is futile. It is obvious that the coffee is roasted fresh in the on site coffee lab. It is more than the drip coffee that I love. Their Nutella late is a tasty hot treat. From my experiences, the Sambalatte Café Americana is also delectable.
Savour:
Sambalatte is an encouraging environment to savour the moment. Just like the upbeat environment of the Summerlin and Jones Boulevard locations, time stands still where I enjoy the moment. The Monte Carlo Sambalatte is a charming café to take a time out. When I park in the Monte Carlo parking garage, I have paused here before stepping into the Las Vegas Strip. On Christmas weekend when I did the Christmas hike from Mandalay Bay to Fashion Show Mall, Sambalatte was my Christmas coffee stop. I’d enter through the Monte Carlo patio to the left of Christmas trees and giant nut crackers.
The café or more like lodge is colossal. There are three entrances which includes two opening onto the Las Vegas Strip and one connecting to the Monte Carlo. As soon as I walk in from the Monte Carlo entrance I set eyes on the counter. As I walk toward the counter, to my right is a pastry counter. The pastries are expensive. But this is the Las Vegas Strip where $ 17 for a Philly cheesesteak combo at Nathan’s is considered normal. I have yet to try their pastries. Up above the counter is a menu of the drinks. There has always been a helpful batista to answer my questions. After the friendly batista serves me my drink that I have in a mug; I have chosen different spots to savour the experience. There is the long table with the electric outlets that I have used to charge up my phone. There are tables. And there are plush chairs. During the Holidays, my seating of choice was the plush chairs where I took in the Christmas tree and landmark coffee lab that occupies the east side of the room.
On another note, the only negative one; Sambalatte charges full price for coffee refills. A cup of drip coffee is around $ 4. It’s that Las Vegas Strip thing of off the chart pricing. I recommend taking small sips to maximize the experience of a delicious cup of coffee.
Socialize:
Sambalatte is a fitting place to meet up with someone. Until they build the Las Vegas Arena, the Monte Carlo parking garage is an easy way to reach the Strip from the signalled Frank Sinatra Drive exit. A relatively quick walk from the parking garage sits Sambalatte. This has been a go to spot to meet up with my brother on the Las Vegas Strip. Likewise there are a sundry of attractive and friendly single people on the Las Vegas Strip that are attracted to Sambalatte making it a nice place to meet people and socialize.
And the ultimate way to socialize is to Unilocal it. Socializing from Unilocal to you the reader, it is my intention to let you know that Sambalatte is a charming spot on the Las Vegas Strip to sip, savour, and socialize.

Really good coffee drinks and snacks.
This place is located in Monte Carlo Hotel/​Casino facing the strip. The prices were actually reasonable for being on the strip. I had the highly recommended Nutella Latte and it was very good. I also ordered the egg muffin sandwich which was also good.
Safe to say I’d come back to try again.

We stopped in here for some coffee to wake us up and warm us up. The line to order was short. That is where the good part ends. There were only 6 – 8 people in front of us on the other end waiting for drinks, so it seemed like it would not be too long of a wait. Oh was I wrong. The wait was far too lengthy and the staff did not seem eager to fix that. The manager casually strolled around clearly not noticing the back up. The two staff members making the drinks seemed to be enjoying themselves, but in no hurry to get the job done.
After finally receiving my coffee I was then again disappointed. It tasted burnt and I could not detect any of the elaborate flavors in its description. Also please note that I waited that long for a coffee, not a latte or cappuccino.
Had it been busier I would have understood, but the issue seemed to be the staffs ineffectiveness and disregard for getting work done.

My Nutella Coffee was soooo good!!! Yes. It’s a pricey, but not really… because you actually do get what you pay for! The coffee wasn’t too sweet, which allows coffee-​appreciators to appreciate the coffee! It also provided a nice kick of energy on this cold Vegas day.
I also tried the Costa Rica coffee, and that was yummy as well! Nothing like a good cup of coffee!
The space is so cute, and there were many small tables and comfty seating. Many of the tables and seats were occupied. I guess others have heard about this place as well.

Forget Starbacks. Want to enjoy some locally owned, non-​corporate-​owned coffee — without leaving the corporate-​owned theme park that is the Strip? Then Sambalatte is your destination.
Located right smack on the Strip in front of the Monte Carlo, Sambalatte is a big, beautiful spot to get your cappuccino, latte, mocha, whatever. There’s both indoor seating if you prefer quiet, and outdoor seating if you want to people-​watch the hustle and bustle of the Strip.
I was in a mocha mood the day I was there, so that’s what I had, and it was fabulous. Loved the strong chocolate flavor, and pretty latte art to boot — no complaints there. I noticed that everyone behind and in front of me were ordering the Nutella latte, which seems to be the signature drink of the house. I’ll have to try that next time.
Service is relatively slow and disorganized for an on-​Strip coffee joint, but I’ll give them a pass for being relatively new. Next time, I’ll bring my laptop and get work done (or Unilocal reviews written…) to pass the time.

Got the Nutella latte. I dunno what people are on, but this drink got voted the best latte in LV? I tasted almost zero of the espresso, & almost no Nutella. I wouldn’t have known I got the Nutella latte from the taste alone. Also, $ 5.75 for a 12oz, $ 6.22 with tax, is a ridiculous amount to pay for a mediocre latte. They didn’t even make it extra hot like I had requested. The only saving grace was that it was purdy with its latte art.
The café itself, & its staff, are really nice though. Lots of windows, lots of seats, a big patio/​outside area that’s shaded with a mix of couches and café tables. I enjoyed sitting outside and people watching. Enough background noise to get your work done or have a private convo. The staff was pleasant too. Just wish they made good lattes.

Before placing my order I asked if they had soy milk. They do so I ordered a vanilla soy latte. What was made for me was a vanilla latte with regular milk. I’m lactose intolerant, not high maintenance by choice. I didn’t want to get sick so I brought back my latte to remake with soy. The cashier said he didn’t hear me order soy. How did you not hear me order when first thing I did was asked if you had soy milk and stated I’m lactose intolerant? I also then ordered my drink with soy one more time.
They remade my latte but left out vanilla the second time. Sigh, I give up. I wanted a vanilla latte with soy. What I got the second time was a soy latte. A small latte was $ 6. That’s quite expensive. Oh well… I was just in to kill time before flight

There is only one regret I have from this place. I was in Vegas three full days and I came to this place the last day of my trip.
I had one of the best lattes I have had in my life. It was a nutella Latte. First of all, I love Nutella and I love coffee.
The nutella did not overpower the coffee and I could taste it on every sip without it being too sweet or overpowering. The place is also cozy, they have coffee sacs from different parts of the world, they also play samba. I would’ve enjoyed some soft Bossa Nova a little better but that is just my music taste. They also have different pictures of Brasil in the shop.
The price was great as well, $ 5.00 for the latte. I can’t wait to have this glorious drink again.

This is a hidden gem that is accessible from the strip and Monte Carlo! I came here randomly before heading to the Blue Man Theatre to see the Blue Man Group. I entered from the casino and with just one step into it, you are in a completely different environment. It’s a coffee oasis separated from the hustle and bustle in the casino where you can just sit and relax, enjoy a pastry, and play some board games! They have Jenga, Connect 4, Chess, and some card games.
Their seating is plentiful with indoor and outdoor options, and inside they have a little «Coffee Lab» where you can see all the machines that ground up the beans! Definitely a coffee lover’s heaven.
I ordered the Nutella Latte. Pretty pricey at a little over $ 6 (with tax) but it was well worth it! The Nutella wasn’t too overbearing, but then again, can there ever be too much Nutella?
