History
Established in 2015.
Grandmaster Reylson Gracie, at the time Heinere met him, owned a school on Rock Springs Rd in the Northwest area of the Valley, off of Cheyenne and US 95. Heinere took a private lesson from the Grandmaster. After the lesson Heinere was asked if he would be interested in the Instructor’s program. He was not sure because of his full time job and the required commitment to be at the academy Monday thru Friday for at least six hours a day. He decided to do it. After a grueling apprenticeship under the masterful eye of Grandmaster Reylson Gracie, Heinere became certififed as a Black Belt Level Instructor in the summer of 2010. Grandmaster Reylson Gracie is Master Rodrigo Gracie’s father.
Heinere Ah-Sha is the owner and Head Instructor of Self Defense Rodrigo Gracie Jiu Jitsu Las Vegas. He is a certified Black Belt Level Instructor in the Reylson Gracie Jiu Jitsu system. He is the first Tahitian certified as a Black Belt Level Instructor in the Gracie Jiu Jitsu system of Self Defense.
