Update, we came here for a party for my friends birthday and Leo(apparently he’s a supervisor of some sort) was our server. So rude. So unprofessional. I understand if you hate your job but at least don’t act like it, and don’t bring your problems to work. He’s got an attitude problem. However, the cute busser/runner with the red hair named chance is amazing. He’s got a great smile and gives awesome service. Very friendly. Sushi was okay. If you’re reading this review and want to try some other sushi places I recommend either Umiya Sushi(which is right up the street from kaya) or Jjanga sushi on Russell and ft Apache. Thank me later.

I’ve been here twice and haven’t found anything special about it. Servers seemed to be rushing me on both occasions. Except from when I ordered desert(I waited almost 10 minutes, and left without eating it). Rolls are ok, but not worth the 30 min wait to be seated.

I’ve eaten at a lot of Sushi place and this one by far has the best service and selection. They still have all you can eat for a good price. I have also taken many friends here and no one had ever gotten sick. The reason a mention this because of what others have wrote in their reviews.

Place has good food, excellent variety. The price is decent. However each and every time I come here there is always a wait.

Low quality sushi at an average price. Our rolls came out warm and I had to unwillingly force most of them down since they charge for leftovers. Baked rolls were better. Service was mediocre with the servers not being assigned to specific tables and the employees scattered amongst all tables. Made it very difficult and irritating to order our food, we had to place orders multiple times with 2 – 3 different servers throughout our meal. Mind you it was only about 3pm. They were polite but definitely not oriented on good waiting service. That being said, the warm sushi –yuck– along with the terrible waiting service was not worth coming back to this place. Also left there with a bit of a stomachache that lasted a couple of hours, but nothing too serious.

Usually this is one of my favorite places to come for Sushi. Today, however, was an off day for Sushi Kaya. There were a couple of flies flying around, and then we found a small bug crawling in our lemons :/The server offered 20% off our bill for that… Then, on top of that, the sushi wasn’t as good as it usually is, and the fish wasn’t that fresh. It was kind of dried out and wilted. Yuck. Hopefully next time Sushi Kaya will be up to be standard that I expect.

This place will get my first review ever based on the fact that their service and food blew me away! Google says they aren’t usually busy but this is a lie. Honestly I was ready to head to the next place after being told it would be a 20 minute wait. But within five minutes we had our spot. This place was SLAMMED. We received our first order of rolls and drinks almost immediately and never once had to hunt someone down to order more. You can tell this place is run really really well. Not to mention an extensively delicious all you can eat menu! Trust me… this place is worth it!

food: the variety was great. from sashimi to rolls to hot dishes to skewers. there were some items where you can only have one order, but one is enough. i cant remember which roll is which since we ordered so many. the baked rolls were good. ***4/5 service: it was easy to get somebodys attention. critical at a all you can eat place where you have to order it from the server. they will give you weird look when you ask to order everything on a small list. i dont think my request was that bad. it was the skewers and you know those things are small. ***4/5 value: worth the money on the variety alone. there are so many options to choose from. it helps when the food is decent too. they have some creative rolls in there. ***4/5

I don’t think you can go wrong with Kaya even for Korean sushi. I’ve been going here for a while now and it still stays busy. They are an all you can eat joint with a huge menu to select from. The price is pretty fair considering that it is an all you can eat(AYCE) sushi restaurant. After you are finish, they provide you with a stamp card that you can save for the next visits to eventually obtain a free lunch or dinner!

AYCE selection was okay, special rolls & deep fried rolls were not included like other AYCE sushi places I’ve been to, but I was happy to see dessert was included. Rolls were average, nothing special. Kimchi fried rice was bomb! We came in around 1am and service was fast and attentive. The AYCE last call is @ 2:15am. There’s a one per person limit on the mochi ice cream. The green tea cheesecake is absolutely to die for so make sure you order one! :)

For the past years, I’ve been coming to Sushi Kaya at least once a week, and refused to go elsewhere. Sushi Kaya may have once been the best AYCE sushi place, but has been going downhill for the past year or so in terms of food quality. And after this recent experience, I am assured that I will NEVER visit this place ever again. Recently, I took my visiting friend to Sushi Kaya, ensuring her that this is my favorite sushi place in Vegas. I ordered the usual and was excitedly talking with my friend, until the food came out. We were shortly in shock. The rice must have come straight from the freezer; it was hard and cold. The sashimi pieces were disappointing — not fresh at all. Long story short, everything was unsatisfactory and below average standards. My friend and I REFUSED to eat the rice, and tried to finish most of the sashimi, and did. However, the waiter came over to us TWICE, rudely demanding that we finish the rice. If we had finished all of the rice, I know we would have gotten sick. The rice was not edible. The food and the service were both disappointing, and while signing the check, I swore that I would never return to this place ever again. And I never have. There are plenty of other AYCE sushi places in Vegas, with equivalent or lesser prices and even better menus. I have no reason to return here ever again.

Lunch ayce. Got some rolls. I really enjoyed the brooklyn and banzai rolls. We experimented with some other rolls like the volcano and deep fried avocado and a mushroom one but they just weren’t that good. The nigiri was good but the yellowtail and tuna just weren’t as fresh as I hoped. The appetizers weren’t that great either.

FOODPOISONING — FOODPOISONING — FOODPOISONING!!! If you like food poisoning and want a nice little cleanse for your stomach, then come here. Otherwise, avoid like the Black Death medieval plague. I’m usually not one for AYCE, but I was meeting up with friends that I had not seen in a very long time, so I thought why not. There was a group of 6 of us. The service was good and we were told that any food left over on the table would be an extra charge. This includes eating just the sushi and leaving any excess rice. We ordered rolls, baked rolls, skewers, nigri, the works. We all ate until we were all pretty full, got some mochi ice cream, paid, then left. 1 day passes* — I had a really hard time getting to bed and getting a good night’s rest and felt really noxious. It felt like it came out of no where. I had pizza for dinner with a friend that was visiting the states for the first time the evening before and had thought that it was the culprit that caused my non-stop barfing and diarrhea. I cancelled all of my plans for the day and decided to make the drive back to San Diego. The drive was an absolute endearing struggle. After returning to health two days later, I spoke with my friend and found out that the AYCE sushi was the one to blame afterall since EVERYONETHATATEITGOTSICK. Stay away from this place. Your stomach will thank you. Consider yourself warned.

This place is a little gem. Hidden in a busy strip mall right in the heart of Chinatown. It was busy on Friday night when my friend and I arrived. It was only about 20 minutes until we were seated though, and it was well worth the wait. We both ordered AYCE dinner($ 26.99). The service was out of this world amazing and fast. We sat down, and after we browsed the menu for a bit, we ordered like 8 different rolls. I usually order a lot to start, because I know that the kitchen is usually busy and it could be some time in between orders. This was not the case here. I swear within two minutes of ordering, we had food on the table. Less than 5 minutes later, they had brought all 8 rolls. I really couldn’t believe it. The rolls were delicious. Some better than others. My favorites were the Kaya and the Million Dollar Man. The Kaya has spicy tuna, which I DONOTLIKE, but this roll was sooo good. By the time we were done, we were stuffed and didn’t have room for dessert. But they do offer various flavors of ice cream and mochi that I will be sure to get my hands on next time. Oh yeah, there will definitely be a next time. I seriously can’t wait to come back here and take my friends. This place has been added to my regular sushi spot rotation!

This is typically my go-to place for AYCE sushi. Their price is cheaper than others & they offer pretty much the same items. Their baked rolls are my fav! They can get busy & sometimes may have to wait. But, it’s definitely worth it. Their dessert options are just okay tho, but I’m pretty stuffed by the time I’m ready for dessert. Sometimes, ice cream is all I need. I go here for food & not dessert anyway. I definitely enjoy coming here & will continue to do so!

I’ve been going to Kaya since they opened their door. I have to admit, the quality of food has gone down over the years, but not a total disappointment. This is only on certain items. However, I have never had any problems with their service. The staff’s attentiveness and quick service remain positive. This place has an extensive sushi roll selection compared to other sushi joints. The big plus for me is that they offer half rolls for almost all their sushi rolls. I like this option to give you an opportunity to try many of their items without getting too full on one sushi roll. They have a decent selection of skewers and nigiri. The fish to rice ratio is a hit or miss for me. Kaya only takes reservations for large parties. Be prepared to wait during peak hours. Don’t forget to ask for their sushi stamp card where your 10th stamp gets you a FREE dinner, but you’re unable to use it on the same day it was stamped.

Don’t be put off that it is in a strip mall. We went on a Thursday night around 7:30. Our wait was maybe 2 minutes. Once we were seated our waiter came over to offer drinks. He was pretty witty, although not awesome as a waiter. He seemed a little forgetful, and when I was not ordering fast enough, he seemed impatient. We did the AYCE sushi. I could tell you all the names of the rolls I had, but I can’t remember them all. The sushi seemed fresh and the sauces were very flavorful. Most items came pretty quick. Cooked items like the«who is your dad» took a little longer. We for sure got our money’s worth. The sushi was great, and I recommend it. A couple things kept it from 5 stars. 1) The waiter. As I mentioned, he was witty, but not an awesome waiter. 2) on several of the items, the presentation seemed a little sloppy. Sushi is an adventure and I would have liked a little more flair.
