TAM® of Nevada offers online and classroom based alcohol awareness training and TAM Cards. We offer these services in our primary office in Las Vegas, and also offer exam proctoring and TAM Cards at offsite locations in Laughlin, Reno, Overton, and Mesquite Nevada.

History

Established in 1982.

TAM® has proven extremely effective at increasing point of sale prevention efforts in the areas of underage purchases, identification procedures in both tobacco and alcohol, serving of intoxicated customers, and recognition of third party sales. TAM® of Nevada was one of the first approved providers of alcohol awareness training and alcohol education cards through Nevada’s Commission on Postsecondary Education and remains today the only official TAM® training center and Web site serving the Las Vegas area. In July of 2009, we closed the old Sahara location and opened a new, state-​of-​the-​art training center at 3900 Paradise Rd to support classroom training, an online computer-​based training lab, and proctored (supervised) exams.

Meet the Manager

Sherry C.

Manager

Originally from New Jersey, Sherry has lived and traveled extensively throughout America, Mexico and the Caribbean. At each new destination, Sherry learned the local cultures, traditions, and cuisines.

The Court of Master Sommeliers certified Sherry and she continues to attend sommelier seminars and training programs. Sherry attended the Sterling School of Hospitality and was also certified by London’s Wine & Spirit Trust.

At the Rio Hotel & Casino, Sherry became a member of the wine team and had the profound opportunity to work at Jean-​Louis Palladin and later sold gourmet food products for Made in France.

Sherry’s newest endeavor as a TAM® account manager and instructor is simply an expansion of her experience. As such, she looks forward to making your acquaintance and providing to the point and interesting alcohol awareness training for you.
