We are a community wood shop filled with professional level woodworking equipment, opening soon for your use! Through classes and membership, participants will have the opportunity to do anything from sampling woodworking for the first time, to taking advanced classes. Members can come in and use the shop for their own projects for a single day, week, month, year or purchase a punch pass for even greater flexibility. Friendly staff will be on hand to ensure safety and help out with everything from amusing banter to wrangling a big-​glue up. People who come to use The Community Tool Chest will be rewarded with a great time in a fun shop, a head full of knowledge, and of course, some awesome things made out of wood!

History

Established in 2015.

The Community Tool Chest is a start-​up business by husband and wife duo Will and Sarah Dameron. We are striving to provide wood shop access and instruction to the people of Las Vegas! The wood shop will house 6600 square feet of industrial level tooling: planers, jointers, table saws, band saws, drill presses, routers, specialty jigs, etc. etc. etc. Users will be able to utilize far higher quality tooling than all but the luckiest of individuals can afford.

The Community Tool Chest will provide expertise both in our classes and general on-​hand instruction. For those looking to try woodworking for the first time, our beginner classes will cover all the basics. For more advanced woodworkers, our intermediate or advanced classes will likely meet your needs. And for members coming in to use the shop for their own projects, our managers are eager to lend a hand, offer some advice, or to learn a thing or two from the pros.
