Established in 1981.

The Refinery Celebrity Resale was opened near downtown las vegas in 1981 as a small resale boutique of designer clothing. the owner Carolyn aquired the business in it’s early stages and has built it up to it’s current location at Sunset and Pecos, Las Vegas. (Please note this location as it is slightly different than where yelp has us). Carolyn has developed connections with the rich and famous in las vegas as well as sothern ca. and receives new up to date fashions almost daily.

Hi, this is Carolyn of the Refinery. our correct address is 3460 E. Sunset Rd. Ste D. @ Pecos. As of 2012 I’ve been in business for over 25 years and am very proud of our store and the high end labels we specialize in. we have great consigners that are among the most well known families in las vegas and elsewhere. we also have many great customers that find our store a regular place to shop and many clients from out of town that stop in or call for new items on a regular basis. for some reason yelp is allowing a few people to run a smear campaign against our business but please belive me, some of the reviews are as far from the truth as can be. we also have an ebay store that is a top seller with all 5 star ratings. you can find it under ebay stores: refinery celebrity resale. thanks for reading and hope to see you when in las vegas. I went to the refinery and met the owner, Carolyn. She was thoughtful helpful and very knowledgeable about all her merchandise. I bought a beautiful ruby and diamond ring. The refinery is the best resale store I have ever been to and I’ve been to many. I give it 5 stars

Whenever traveling, we always plan a few side trips to local higher-​end clothing resale shops. For us guys, we sit around 99.99% of the time reading something while our better halves browse. Much to my surprise, The Refinery is has nicer, refined men’s clothing for resale too! When I started looking at the men’s items, there were shirts by Tom Ford, Bugatchi, Robert Graham and others. The owner and her staff were engaging and helpful. She knew what was where in the store and in some cases the exact pieces being described! There are also über nice men’s suits, slacks and jeans, are all fairly priced. She also has shoes, luggage and many other items. We spent a few hours in the store. Perhaps the online store will be expanded in the future to include more men’s shirts as well. Recommended.

Here is my confession, I have known about this shop for over 2 years and never told any of you about it. I felt I needed to keep it a secret so that you couldn’t buy the things I would want before me. But on a recent shopping trip I realized, there is so much there and I always find amazing deals, that it’s time to share.
On a visit to Vegas, I came out to my car, and found a coupon for a consignment store in the area. It listed some of my favorite designers, like Louis Vuitton, Louboutin, Prada. etc. I looked at hubby and said, what the heck, let’s check it out. I have been shopping there ever since.
The owner has connections with very wealthy people, I am talking billionaires and receives some serious inventory. Not only will you find the above mentioned designers, but you will find haute couture, custom made items from Europe and runway items. Her clients are the type of people that will buy the latest fashion, never wear it and then resell it here. I have Louboutins that I bought here NEVER worn, in the box, for a fraction of their retail price.
My suggestion is come when you have time to shop, wear comfortable clothes and go through all the racks. If the owner is in the shop, tell her what you are looking for and she will point everything out to you.
Don’t forget to look up on the high shelves, she even has luggage. I have bought my favorite LV piece here and I use it on every trip now. Also check her Facebook page and instagram for her latest finds.
Even though I live in San Diego, I shop online with her all the time. I bought some Channel leather gloves just the other day and they were in my hands 24 hours later. LOVE shopping here.
Big NOTE: if you are a man, she has TONS of clothes for men. Tom Ford, John Varvatos, and so on and SHOES!!!

So I went browsing in this store on my lunch break since I work at the salon next door. I wanted to see if I could find another Louis Vuitton and the owner refused to acknowledge me and when I politely asked for help she looked at me like I was bothering her. I don’t know what stick is up her butt, I just know I won’t be returning. I would love to buy recycled bags but with an attitude like that I’ll just drop the thousand dollars it would cost for a new Louis Vuitton and deal with employees who actually care about the customer. Good luck lady, you’ll be sure to go out of business if you keep acting that way. Learn how to be nice. If you hate what you do close down the shop jerk!

After a day of visiting the ‘other’ couturish resale stores in Las Vegas we landed at The Refinery and it was a gold mine. Every designer we needed. Yes, you know I mean ‘need’. Everything from Brand new Louboutin shoes for only $ 600 to gorgeous Karl Lagerfeld tops for under $ 100 and Joie and Maxmara Dresses for under $ 50. The owner Barbara is fabulous! The whole experience made it my favorite store in Vegas. Well worth the drive, and I made the trip twice from the strip because I wanted to go back w a friend. I’ll be back again, maybe next time w a suitcase full of stuff to sell as well :) Definitely Go!

This is the best resale store for high end clothing in Las Vegas! A small mom and pop type store with endless amounts of amazing clothes, shoes, & accessories! Not to mention their deals are great!

High end designer clothing and shoes. Was impressed with the selection of shoes and heels in a size 8.5 and 9 which can be hard to find. The lady who owns the store was both knowledgeable and friendly. I found a loose knit Free People sweater, cute quilted jacket for the winter, and a flowing purple snakeskin pattern Guess dress all for $ 130. Not a bad deal. They get new stuff in everyday so this may be a once a week habit for me!

My twin wanted to go consignment shopping while we were visiting Las Vegas and this location came up in a search. The owner greeted us as soon as we walked in and was very helpful. She has quite a number of items in her store — shoes, purses, some jewelry, scarves and clothes. Because I wear plus sizes, there were no items in my size — but I knew that going in – but my twin found a cute top at a really good price. I would recommend the store.

Horrible, horrible customer service. No hello, no welcome. I finally found something and the cashier tells me it is priced incorrectly, and wants to charge me $ 50 more!!! Unbelievable. I will never go back.

I came into The Refinery thinking that I would have a wonderful experience, unfortunately it did not go as planned. I called the store pursuing my quest to find the item I wished for which was a Louis Vuitton speedy handbag. I was rudely told that they did not carry such item and probably never would but I should stop by and see what else they had. I did in fact stop by with my mother who was curious to see what this boutique had to offer. When we came in we were instantly hit with a smell that I could only describe as an «old musty smell» don’t get me wrong I completely understand that things age and do come with their history when shopping in consignment but this was a horrible smell nonetheless. Also there was no one on the sales floor whatsoever and myself being a retail sales associate I felt a little wary. I looked around the store for a good 10 – 15 minutes before anyone came in from the back. The woman who did was an older lady in a very tasteful suit. Unfortunately she offered no help to myself or my mother who was browsing around the jewelry cases and she was pointing out to me a lot of the items in the jewelry cases were I fact costume jewelry. A lot of the items that I saw were very… Dated, unfortunately that was the nicest adjective I could come up with to describe the stock that the store held that day. As I was walking around I found things that held some interested to me and when I saw the price tag I nearly jumped. The prices listed were so close to retail I thought I was just seeing things. After pointing this out to my mother who is (60) and she told me that what I was looking at was something from decades before. I found items that were in fact listed at current retail price even though they were a very poor condition. All the while I was in the store the woman behind the jewelry cases did not offer to help me whatsoever. As we were leaving I wished the woman a good day but heard nothing in return. If you are a major fashionista and love fashion, this is the place to be! Every time I walk into the boutique, it feels as if I’m walking into a museum because this place is the only place I know where I can stand close to vintage Chanel gowns, the latest McQueen pieces, Versace, Dior, and Actually feel it’s fabric and adore their beauty. The owner is incredibly friendly and is always willing to walk you through the boutique. Yes, the boutique is quite big, and you do have to invest sometime in looking at the clothing, but is well worth it. The pieces are fairly priced, and they also offer lay away. If you are ever in Vegas and love fashion, The Refinery is definitely worth the stop!

I absolutely loved this place. The ladies who worked here were so kind and helpful. I was looking for a prom dress and somehow this woman pulled this perfect red dress, and it fit perfectly. It also had a wonderful price. It got many compliments at prom and people said it looked like it belonged on the red carpet. I was called «Ms. Hollywood» by my English teacher.

I had been to the Refinery many times in the past. Found nice upscale designer items at good prices…
After today I will never return. They have moved to a new location which was dirty, unorganized, and messy. They had a few items that were «newer «but they were priced way to high for consignment … The rest their items were old, outdated and worn. Really should be donated. Very disappointed. I have always made a point of stopping by when I Travel to Vegas… Never again
If you are looking for dirty shoes all over the floor, clothes so jammed in that you can’t pull them out and clothes that are semi falling apart. They are all yours!!!
In retrospect I’m quite sad.

THIS is how I could see spending my day!
The owner has the most breathtaking collection of vintage couture I have ever seen!
Yes, I have been to the many famed LA vintage boutiques, they have NOTHING on the Refinery.
She didn’t spend millions on the location or set up, its a small strip mall store, but chock FULL, I’m talking no floor or ceiling space left, wall to wall and everywhere in between noting but Chanel, Prada, Gucci, an entire rack of Herve Leger, Blamain, Gaultier, it goes on and on and on and on.
I spent a good two hours and everytime I turned there was more.
Prices are high, but the goods timeless and well taken care of.
You will pay about $ 1500 for the purses, a couple hundred for the dresses as well as the shoes, the cheapest thing I saw was a pair of $ 50 Missoni rainboots.
The owner is great, she knows everything about everything and was very helpful.
I fell in love with so many things, a white flowered Fendi B Bag is causing me to lose sleep…

I have been to this strip mall dozens of times and never noticed The Refinery Celebrity Resale store before. This is probably because I am always zoned in on my lunch place. I totally have a one track mind when it comes to food, but that is a different topic for a different day…
I was with my mom and little one when we were just walking around to wear out the babe after lunch. We walked down to the Refinery Celebrity Resale store just to look in the windows. My mom, a purse hog, noticed a cute handbag in the window. We went in not knowing what to expect and ended up finding this fun store.
This is quite a different store than I have visited before. It is a high-​end consignment shop full of brands like Gucci, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, and many others. The store is really pretty large and packed full of all sorts of clothing, handbags, shoes, and jewelry. The also had every sort of type of clothing from simple tops and bottoms to evening wear and everything in-​between. They had a beautiful Oscar de la Renta evening gown that I would have bought if I was a size 2, had 2 grand to drop on a dress, and a place to actually wear it to since it wasn’t the type of dress to go grocery shopping in, though I totally could have rocked it at Fresh n’ Easy, in my opinion.
The Refinery also had some pretty funky items as well. I noticed some dresses that looked straight out of Dynasty or the dressing rooms of the DIVAS show’s performers. It was pretty fun looking at all of these crazy gowns! You could really find some fun stuff here.
The store seemed to have some really good prices on most items. A some things seemed to be high considering the style/​condition, but overall everything seemed on par with the product. If you looked a bit, I think you could find some killer deals here. I even noticed some brand new items with the original sales tag still attached.
I know consignment shops aren’t for everyone, but it is worth popping in, because you never know what you might find!

Um, maybe I’m missing something? There are a lot of five star reviews on this place. This confuses me.
I enjoy vintage and thrift shopping. I’ve also visited my share of consignment stores. However, this one did not amaze me, let alone even interest me.
Most of the clothing appears to be of the Dynsasty variety — sequins, beads, and flasssshhh. Something my grandmother would have worn (and did) in the 1980’s. It is not skewed to the under 40 crowd.
The shoes also seemed really overpriced considering how worn in they appeared. Who buys $ 300 creased, dirty-​soled, and worn Manolos? I realize the owner needs to make a profit but, come on.
High prices on designer vintage can sometimes be justified because it’s classic and timeless. This store just carries out-​of-​style expensive stuff.
