It was really fun meeting other Unilocalers from different places. I got to meet my friend Elnino which was pretty cool.
The drinks were all pretty tasty. I wish there was more food, but I guess I was too busy getting drunk anyways to really care.
Misti the Vegas CM was so gracious and awesome for allowing us to visit. We had an awesome time.
The bar was a cutesy themed speakeasy. Dark and feminine, but seductive at the same time. It was like one of those alluring dangerous girls you can’t help but stay away from.
To all of the chill people I met, It was great chatting with you guys. If ur drinks went missing… I’m sorry… The line at the bar was taking forever :)
ps. I won 100 bucks in Vegas… yay! Best road trip ever
sorry for this little blip… I’m tired and this is all the review I could write.

Oh on, what am I going to wear, Well i came up with nothing so there i was in my everyday Raymond clothes. No worries the party still went on. The drinks happened to be great, the 3 wings i was lucky enough to snag were good i just wish I could have snagged a bit more the offerings before the herd hit the tables every time.
Meeting all the people was the best part of this night, of course saying hello to the folks i have met prior like Matt C, Misti, and a few others was obviously great as usual but getting to know some of the other Unilocal faces was an added bonus. Clint, was just as chill as i assumed he would be from his activity on Unilocal and Lisa B. I could sit and chat it up with her and fiancé for hours for sure. .Very cool people! Then there is Keith… I could get in some trouble hangin with Keith, it was awesome to meet all of you that I had not met prior and i hope we all get the chance to do this again some time soon. Matt C and Rickilane… Lets try not to take shots of Gin at our next get together, it was like drinking a pine tree.
A big thank you goes out to Misti for putting this together and a huge thank you to Herbs and Rye for having us. I know we came in a lot stronger than anticipated for but it was handled with class.

First ELITE event for Las Vegas and it was such a success!
So glad to be able to meet more of the fellow Unilocalers…
Big UP’s to Misti Y. of course for making it all happen. And a shout out to Anthony M. for capturing the memories. We rocked the 1920’s!!! (:
Now down to business… «drinks» lol. To be honest, I was getting a little impatient waiting AND I was right in the middle! It took a very long time :(i know it wasn’t easy for the bartenders to have to shake it like a salt shaka’ quick enough since the drinks had different types of alcohol. However, once i got my turn… ohh it was game over! I pretty much worked my way from top to bottom on the drink menu lol.
«GIMME 2 SHOTS OF ‘THE DEMPSEY’, ‘THE CAKE EATER’, ‘THE HOLY MAN’, AND ‘THE UnilocalLE’ PLS!!!» LOL. xD
Also, I was super stoked to the fact that The Dempsey shot was served
in Unilocal’s very own shot glass! Now i can pre-​game taking a shot of Unilocal.Awesome! haha
The rest of the night just kept getting better and better… not only did I get cool Unilocal stuff (ie. lunch box, pens, chap stick, stickers, etc.).
They mentioned to me as I first arrived that there will be a raffle drawing to win cool prizes and wrote me and my +1 guest name’s down. I honestly thought to myself, i rarely ever win in general but it would be nice to be a winner tonight! GOD heard me! lol. or maybe Misti Y. did?! because i WON!!! …A FREE FOOT MASSAGE CERTIFICATE!!! and the funny thing was… my +1 guest won too! coincidence i know. What a perfect prize for me because I surely needed one bad with wearing heels everyday for work (: thank you!
Had such a fun night with all you Unilocal heads at Herbs & Rye! SYOY!

Unilocal Elite, holla if you hear me! Finally getting this review up after a couple of moving days, meh… Anyways, The Elite event was phenomenal! Big thanks goes out to Misti for bringing us together & Herbs and Rye for putting on a great show. I will set aside my details on Herbs and Rye for their review.
The Event itself was full of like minded Unilocalers that packed the place and showed a real Vegas community. Being someone who practically spent his whole life here it’s a huge bright spot on a transient community that has a ton of potentially. This was and is a great step toward the future and I’m looking forward to all of it!

So much fun! I, too, was in the «Free mobile hand job» school of thinking that night. Tan, hand… it all sounds the same after a bunch of yummy giggle juice from Herbs and Rye. Speaking of giggle juice, mine was both pretty and deceivingly potent, and made me lose the ability to un-​smile my face in a very short amount of time. Thanks so much, to Misti Y., for the invite and fantastically well-​put together event! I didn’t know what to expect at my first Unilocal event, but I do know that it was a great time and turn out with some great people. Cheers to the fabulous Unilocal Elite Squad! Can’t wait to see you next time!

Go, Misti Y., Go Misti Y., Go Misti Y. Nice venue. Superb organization. «Wowzers» from the THRONGS of people that showed up! Who knew there would be so many Elites? OMG! I had no idea so many Elite Unilocalers from Los Angeles and elsewhere would be so supportive of the Unilocal community in Las Vegas!
Staples of a good event include:
*) a chalkboard-​list full of names to put with faces (check),
*) true-​blue good drinks and eats (check),
*) a caring greeter with class and character (a ’ la Gabi M.) (check),
*) A vibrant amount of photography to capture the love (check),
*) Finally, the three rules of socializing: networking networking, networking.
I swear I felt like I was «stealing» ExtraGoodKarma™ from the Unilocaleasy. Ahhh…
P. S. The Blackberry Bramble (photographed) was really flavorful! And the good food, and the candy cigarettees (LOL! Really!). Dewds, ya gotta show up next time!

I am simply blown away !
Misti — frickin’ incredible event ! Unilocalers are multiplying in Vegas … What a difference a year makes.
At first i didn’t recognize the place — last time there they didn’t have the booths in the bar area — once i saw the backdrop to the bar, i got that warm, fuzzy feelin’ …let’s get our drink on !
The drinks were great, service a little on the slow side but hey, free drinks — NO COMPLAINTS HERE …the food… well, missed the boat there but it was the perfect excuse to the cap the evening off with another amazing meal at RAKU .
Loved seeing some out of towners bringing the Unilocal love — keep it coming !
A lil tight for my big butt to cruise up and down the bar area but still managed to make a few rounds.
Big thanks to Raymond for keeping up on the drink orders for us… i owe ya big guy ! now for the genius that ordered the shots of gin… whew … and then to see a certain someone two-​fist those shots… aka — King Unilocal… did it make watching Sex in the City any easier !!!

Ok so let’s hear it… the next Elite event …

I finally popped my Unilocal event cherry! It was indeed an awesome experience. I met a bunch of cool people, had some alcohol, and a couple chicken wings. Most of my night was spent waiting for drinks, but it was ok cause there were some awesome conversations going on during the wait.
I thought it was hella funny that the people who recognized me would associate me with the deals that I post in the «talk» section. I’m chinese… we are born to bargain. LOL
I finally got a Unilocal lunch box! I also snatched a Unilocal shot glass.
Great job on the event Misti!
The Herbs and Rye bartenders were cool cats. A few of us were there after the event and were chattin with on of the bartenders. I will come back fo sho for the HH.

I’m socially awkward. I don’t fit in, and generally don’t care to. I don’t know how to enjoy myself in a room full of strangers. To top it off, I’m not even Elite and don’t really drink.
So you can imagine my reticence when faced with the prospect of a cocktail party full of strangers.
Luckily, none of those «qualities» proved to be a hindrance last night. Misti Y is a hostess par excellence, and Unilocalers, perhaps partially thanks to the aid of free booze, proved to be a friendly and welcoming bunch overall. I got to meet some Unilocal-​familiar names & faces, try some interesting cocktails, and even got sent home with parting gifts — not a bad way to spend a Wednesday evening!
So thanks to Misti Y and Unilocal for the fun event, and thanks to the friendly folks that didn’t let me languish standing in a corner alone all night.

Y’all are so impressive that I think my friend Susan D. will become a Unilocaler soon!

So I feel silly because when rickilane kissed my hand when I walked in I was still trying ID him, sorry about the delayed reaction!
Seven thousand stars to our great photographer extraordinaire Anthony M!!! Loved the costumey stuff (not just on the table, but on the Unilocalies)! Misti’s outfit was so darn cute, every gal was admiring her!
I honestly can say that it is hard not to have a good time around the Unilocaltastics! I even crashed Matt S.‘s and Jenna’s table and they were cool about it. I got to meet some new sassy Unilocalers, a la Teri C., Elnino, Jade… the list goes on! It is an honor!
The Cake Eater was surprisingly strong, and the Unilocalle was my first attempt at anything with gin in it. I was okay driving home but I kept yawning! You may wonder why I snuck out at 8:55…drinking makes me tired :)
Besides all the awesome people and sponsors (thanks to Vivian and the other supporters!) I got to wear this great poofy red and white polka dot bubble dress that I recently purchased and wondered where the hell I could wear it to. I know it’s Vegas, so it really doesn’t matter, but I had fun especially since I went into Target and Fresh and Easy after and got some funny looks from little girls and their parents.

Last night was a lot of fun in terms of good food, good drinks, and good people.
Parking was a little bit of a beast. I don’t think the venue was prepared for the mass turnout, but with a little bit of finagling, I found a spot alright.
Misti really worked hard to put together a very busy, but extremely casual event. I had a great time meeting fellow Unilocalers and discussing «war stories» of the best and worst experiences in reviewing the Las Vegas scene. I wasn’t aware of the unofficial events! I suppose I had better pay better attention in the future to hang out and be cool.
Drinks took a while to order since the bar was so busy. Cleverly, I stocked up in bulk when I finally got my chance to order, and while I suppose it probably made myself look like an alcoholic double-​fisting two drinks, at least I didn’t have to endure the long drink line for a while, and I did try one of all of the drink specialties (my head reminded me of the side effects of completing this self-​induced «challenge» later).
Herbs and Rye was a very cool venue, and were very goodly about serving food. I’ll have to try their steaks one day based off the quality of the appetizers.
I’m not going to downplay this: I loved getting the Unilocal!lunchbox upon leaving. My inner child wanted a new toy, and I was filled with unimaginable joy in getting a metal lunchbox… with a THERMOS! I felt so Steve Martin in «The Jerk» right then, it was silly.
Thank you again, Misti, for such a great event. I may have been a little lame for not dressing in costume like some of my other Unilocalers, but I appreciate the effort, and can’t wait to see what wacky caper you’ll pull off for the next one!

This was über fun!
Now ya’ll can complain about slow service/​not getting enough drinks (there was only 2 bartenders busting it out though and both are troopers for doing so) or not enough food, but you need to learn to be fucking vultures and get a system down. We had a team going… some sat down a booth, a few held attention at the bar for a bulk order and a few watched the food tables and then met up at saved booth with the goods. Our glasses and snack plates were rarely empty. Stick with me kids and you’ll go far.
I really liked how we had a photo prop area and mad luv to Anthony– put your fucking camera down sometime! Everyone is all leaving and he’s still taking pictures of the place. Haha. Hardest working man other than the damned bartenders that night.
Like always, I love seeing all the Unilocal friends and getting to know new faces and making new friends.
Cant wait til the next time!

What more can you really ask for then a group of like minded, friendly individuals who enjoy nothing less then good food and drink?

It was my first Unilocal event EVER and I had a ridiculously great time! I met some great people, everyone was so friendly! I loved the photo booth! The drinks were yummy and although there was a long wait in between drink orders, the bartenders had no problem allowing us to walk away double fisting a Unilocalle and 2 shots of The Dempsey, MmMm tastes like juice!

Apparently, that is what Matt S. thinks the Husband won this evening at the first ever Unilocal Elite event in Las Vegas!
Say it isn’t so! No, he didn’t win that — but he did win a «free mobile tan job»! And if anyone has ever seen the Husband, that’s a whole other issue itself. C’mon, does he really need a tan?! =)
Back to event — I think it was a fabulous turnout! So many new (and not so new) faces!
Sure, it took forever to get a drink, and they tasted a bit weird according to the masses. And I forgot Unilocalers are vultures — there’s never any food left if you’re the last in the buffet line!
But what a wonderful theme it was — 20s makeup and fashion attire, candy cigarettes, and accessories for your Kodak moment.
And lucky me — I won a free foot massage! And for those who know, my feet get around and I KNOW my foot massages!
Can’t wait for the next one!

Unilocal is about community and what better way to show love and support than to drive 4 hours they day after Unilocal Prom to share the love in Sin City for their FIRST EVER Elite Event!
Misti Y, A HUGE CONGRATS to you! WOW, what a success on the first elite party. I had a blast! You’ve got mad CM skills and have such a tight group. I can see how Vegas will soon be blowing up with Unilocalness. As I like to say, Unilocal the town red Vegas!
