Turtle Creek Apartments

This place has bedbugs in there 3 bedroom apartments this place never fixed a previous bedbug problem they had before with previous renters and now multiple buildings have them! It’s gross and disgusting this apartment complex Is the worst I have ever lived in, the office is very unorganized and you will never get a call back! Stay away I wish someone would have warned me! Greystar is horrible to, I have left several messages with them and no call back either!

Renters beware. The staff here are very unprofessional and seem to find it necessary to talk down to people. I was never late on my rent but almost every time that I needed something repaired or had a problem of any kind they spoke to me like I was a perpetual complainer. They allowed my neighbors to let their dogs urinate on the walls in the breezeway (everyday)which caused a constant stinch. The dog poop is everywhere and they rarely pick it up. They say that only small to medium dogs are allowed however they allow pit bulls and other large dogs to roam freely without leashes. When I complained they did nothing. They have even had small dogs on leashes killed by large ones that weren’t. The one thing that they will not tell you when you move in is that there is an RC track directly behind the apartment complex. The dirt and sand from the track not only covered my home but also ruined all of the electronics in my home. When I moved they saw this as an opportunity to take every penny they could from me. Even with a 30 day notice and a clean home they sent me a bill for $ 2,500. I had painted two walls which according to them they would charge me $ 75 each to repaint. In my opinion these are very unscrupulous people.

These apartments are very nice but not «luxury». We had a lot of problems with appliances-​stove, dishwasher, dryer, our washer is currently going out, AC, garbage disposals. While they did get fixed, it seemed that maintenance was being «bothered». Except for the black gentlemen, he was always nice and worked quickly. Luxury to me is newer appliances, good paint (mine wipes off with soapy water-​no good with two kids), newer AC, good carpets (our second apartment had nicer carpets but our first did not… It was a nightmare) & better showers. Our rent is 1,091 after our pet deposit & I can’t wait to spent that $ 1091 on a HOUSE since they’re the same price! We had issues with our neighbors– one neighbors dogs were off leashes and attacked my dogs and when I called it was very «oh, ok». Lots of cigarette and marijuana smoke (if you wanna smoke, cool, go away from the buildings). The gates are always broken.
But I will say that if rent was lowered, we would continue to stay here. When things were broken, we did get them fixed. We could have our dog here without a hassle. When we had fire ants (thanks to twerp little kids throwing soda on our patio and dumping them all over in the hall), they sprayed til they were gone. Office staff would listen and tried to be as helpful as they could. The layout is nice and works well for families. The soccer park next door is nice to let my kids go run in. We love the pools. We love how close our apartment is to what we need (shopping, work, highway access, etc). Just wish rent wasn’t so dang high as it’s just not worth the 1091.

to much police activity goes on in these apartments. and you better get renters insurance because break-​ins happen here. apartment management is terrible. there was no sympathy when our place gets broken into, even attempted to charge us 500 to move into another unit after the break-​in. kiss your security deposit goodbye if you lease here. you’ll never get it back. and if you ever get broken into, don’t break your lease to move else where they’ll slap your credit with a 4000+ debt. worst experience our lives after the break-​in. don’t settle for an apartment that faces the park. it’s the easiest target to get robbed. all windows can be popped open from the outside without any damage the bottome portion of the windows can be taken off without any problem. alot of drug activity and alot of police activity goes on in these apartments. Even found out a couple sex offenders lived in this community… Beware if you have a wife and children… Rent goes up after ever renewal 100 to 150 dollars more a month… Second floor tenants foot steps can be heard from downstairs… Can’t complain about dogs barking, management won’t do anything… Easy access to the park really means easy access to your apartments… Rent at your own risk… This place is bad luck, once we moved, things got so much better for our family… Must be build on an old grave site… My wife and I always got into arguments here, since moving out we haven’t once argued… Police are regulars for domestic violence complaints… Something isn’t right about this place… Any place that has creek in its name should be a warning sign…

We moved here in April and we love it. The customer service is always extremely nice. Maintenance is always quick and fixes everything we need. They are also pet friendly and keep the place as clean as they can it’s going to be hard with a place this big but I think they do a good job.

Tenants beware! The management at Turtle Creek Apartments did not keep their word on anything they said they would do! Nor did they tell us the truth regarding the apartment itself, At every turn, they were completely disinterested in satisfying any requests, however reasonable (like having a parking place where we could actually see our vehicle from the apartment). If shady standards are OK with you, this might be the place you choose to live. Otherwise, stay away.

If you want to ruin your life with bed bugs, please rent here. This place is a joke. Bed Bugs, thieves, no parking, kids running everywhere, rude people. and a lousy management company. Dont forget the druggies!

Had nothing but problems since I moved in, and more since moving out. My deposit is «missing» after the law states it should be here, what can I do. Nothing. The pools are crappy and full of kids at all hours, that is if the pools are even open!!! The tack strips under the uberthin carpet stab your feet on each and every seam. I actually had gunshots in my building. Their «park access» is a soccer park, that is full of strangers that can’t speak english, on saturday and sunday. Unfortunately, that also means they have access to the complex via propped open gates. Not to mention blinding field light on til 11 at night. Its on of those built in a hurry place on the south end of town that should never have been built. Argumentative, or clueless staff. Worst apartment experience ever, never again. They never had the same property manager in their either, I met 3 different women, who had no idea my previous issues. DONT LIVE HERE!!!
