Old Glory Harley Davidson

This is the best dealership of all time. They treat everyone like family. I have always felt welcomed at Old Glory. I just bought a 2015 Street Glide Special from Kim Puckett, who did an amazing job helping me find the right bike for me. I am not an impulse buyer and looked for a while, Kim was patient, and very helpful will all the questions I had. I do mean I had tons of questions, because I am short and needed to have my bike lowered. Between Kim’s help and the parts department’s Chris Zindorf they gave me several options on how to achieve my goal. They took into consideration expense, and quality of my ride in these options. My experience has been amazing all the way through this purchase, I can’t say enough to praise the Old Glory «Family», Thank you Kim, Chris, and everyone else who helped me! I am so excited about my new beautiful Street Glide.

From June 2015 my bike has been in the shop more then in my garage, For the same things over and over. Oh by the way it’s been there for the last month for the same shit. I know they never did the 130 point inspection. they patch things up for the 45 day warranty and sell you a ESP and still want to charge the things that was not fix right the first time.

I’ve been a fan of Harley Davidson since I was ten. I’m getting ready to 35 and I just earned my certificate to get my class M from Old Glory. I was enrolled in the Basic Rider Course through Old Glory from August 5^th to the 9^th. I had to take time off from work in the evenings and switch my on call schedule with my fellow dispatcher. I work a lot and basically have not been able to do a whole lot. So this Rider Course was both special and important to me. I really want to give Old Glory HD two thumbs way up for making me comfortable through the enrolling process and keeping in touch with me through email right before I started. Brittney, who manages the business end of the rider course was awesome and always returned my emails right away. I appreciated that because it meant that I didn’t have to leave my desk to do personal calls. The course itself was challenging at times, especially during those days out on the range. I did not pass the riding exam the first time I took it, but I was able to return a week later and give it a shot. The coach, Victor, who retested, really made me feel comfortable and gave me the opportunity to improve on my Uturn and switching gears. This helped me advance ten fold, so that I could finally pass.
I really look forward to being able to one being able to buy my first Harley. And when I do, I will get it from Old Glory Harley Davidson.

After further review with this H-​D dealership I will NEVER spend another dime in this store… I was going to spend over $ 1000 on a new odometer, headlight, and mirrors.
I asked if there was a possibility for a discount since I was going to drop $ 1000 and was told that Old Glory HD ONLY sells listed retail prices and does not offer any type of discounts. I then said that I can get these same exact parts with a 20% discount and free shipping (26% off including sales tax) from a different H-​D dealer.
The asst. parts manager of Old Glory stated in a VERY snide tone that Old Glory is a retail store, is in the business of making money, and would not give anyone a discount PERIOD… Even after this guy’s condescending tone, I said I wanted to patronize local businesses and in particular Old Glory HD, but not when I can save over $ 250 on the exact 3 items from a different H-​D Dealer… He could have cared less. I walked out the door and ordered the parts online in the parking lot… I don’t mind waiting for them when I saved $ 250.
You guys not only lost my business on this sale, but you have lost my business on all future sales, routine maintenance, or bike purchases.

Without a doubt, the nicest people you can meet, but they have to be because the service department is unacceptable. We bought a used bike here, and it’s been in they’re service department almost longer than in my driveway or under my butt. I took it in for a service issue still under warranty, when I went to pick it up they tried to charge me. Once home I was having the same issues that it was originally brought in for. The bike was returned to Old Glory to work on the same issue a second time, I was told that because it is a repeat discrepancy they would squeeze me in right away. Two days later I called to get a status and I was told that they wouldn’t be getting to it untill the following week but they would call me back. Which don’t expect them to call you back because they don’t, you’ll have to continually call them.
I’m adding this… Ceasar from Old Glory called today to tell me my bike is ready, so far Ceasar has been the only guy to call me back and do what he has promised. Thanks Ceasar.

Just had Harley picked up by Old Glory HD driver Joe. Very personable and professional. I have experienced very good care from all levels at Old Glory.

I don’t write a whole lot of reviews, only when they are warranted. And this review is definitely needed. I was pretty nervous about buying a new bike, maybe cause I had my wife and baby with me. Lol. But seriously, I’ve never splurged on myself like this, and my wife had my back, so game on. From the moment I walked in the door. Everybody was extremely polite and helpful. So much so, that we immediately knew this was the place we were going to by my bike., and no longer needed to shop around. The salesman who sold me my bike, was hands down the coolest salesman I have had the pleasure to deal with. There was zero pressure, no forced upsales, or anything else that would put you off. His name is Steve Tart, and I strongly encourage you to hit him up if your are in the market for a Harley! I couldn’t have spend my hard earned money with a better person! Which I have busted my butt to be able to finally get a brand new bike. Now this isn’t to knock the other sales people there, as they were all really cool people. However, Steve is the bees-​knees. They truly made me feel like part of the family. I really feel like I left there with a new friend. Now, I sure you’re thinking this sounds like a puff piece, but I assure you it’s not. This is just how much I enjoyed my experience at Old Glory. Like I said, I don’t often write reviews, I just felt it was necessary for the size purchase I made and the experience I had. Ride safe folks!

In 2011 I bought a new Road King from them. I got a great price and the staff was friendly, but the problem was, I got a race tuner with after market pipes on my new bike, and the mechanic never touched the mapping. He just stick the tuner in, put the pipes on, and said CONGRATULATIONS, here is your new HD. I rode it like that for a few months and thought it was normal. One day I had my first tune up in Orange at Waugh Harley Davidson, where it was discovered it was not tuned at all. They tuned it correcly, and it felt like I had a new bike. It was much faster, sounded better, and was awesome.
I called Old Glory and I asked for the mechanic that setup my bike. I was told he quit a few days after he worked on my bike.
I figure the guy did not give a shit anymore and just half assed my bike.
That sucks.

If you in the market for a Harley Kim Puckett is the one to see. She really knows her stuff and can answer any questions that you have. She is a safe experienced rider and can guide you through the process with ease. Her professionalism and customer service is unsurpassed and thats why she is so successful.

I was on an 11 hour trip from Indiana to DC. This was my 7^th Harley store in 2 days. The sales assistants were great! The store had a nice selection of clothes. The store also had some unique features such as flags from all the states and the flooring was a flag.

Great place to buy a bike, but don’t ever take your bike here for service. I waited 9 hours for a brake job and front wheel bearing that the mechanic didnt know how to diagnose and then they charged me 900 dollars after the fact. Take you bike to another place, Im sorry but OGHD you do not take care of your people and are worried about making money instead of long term customers… I will never be back for service… too bad because Elkridge did the same things that you are doing

If you are here to have the riding courses motorcycle and your instructor is Bruce. then good luck to you.. This man is the worst instructor ever. Rude and not friendly at all.

Don’t purchase your bike here and don’t ever take it to the service department unless you want to get screwed by Mike and his buds there. Horrible service department and smartass attitudes abound!

From the moment I walked into Old Glory Harley Davidson I was blown away by the customer service. Walking into the store I received a warm welcome from Lauren at the front desk. Then I was directed to Glenn Anderson, one of the salesman. Glenn is the example of what every salesman should try to model themselves after. I ended up buying a bike from a close family member of mine, and even knowing this Glenn took the time to teach me about all the bikes. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about riding and helping customers. It is because of this treatment that I bought all my gear at Old Glory and took the riders edge course there. Without a doubt my next bike will be purchased from Glenn, and I will go back for my gear and accessories.
Tammy was very helpful with picking out my riding gear. She made sure my helmet fit correctly and that the rest of my gear would be functional. She also helped a friend of mine pick out her gear a few days later. I was very pleased with the clothing department and will definitely be back to get some winter gear.
As a new rider I took the New Riders Edge course. It was the most fun I have had in years. The instructors were knowledgable and friendly. Bruce Malson and Victor Ponte taught our course and were always willing to help out when we needed it. I learned so many things that I never knew about motorcycles, and hope to take the Experienced Riders Course once my bike arrives. Lastly, Danielle went out of her way to get me into a class as quick as possible. She also took the time to get me a notarized letter proving I had finished the course, as I am applying for a motorcycle license in SC.
Overall this was the most outstanding customer service experience I have ever had. I look forward to be a loyal customer at Old Glory. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family members.

Absolutely fabulous service and the staff are second to none. I took a riders course here and it beats anything a community college can offer. The admin staff (Danielle) was just amazing in her ability to organize everything needed for the course. The instructor (Glenn) was the most professional teacher anyone could have. Every single person knew what the other person was doing and thinking. I dare anyone to walk in to OGHD, even if its to buy a shirt and not walk out wanting to buy a Harley.
When we started the course we were given a tour of the store. EVERY single staff member said hello and loves working there. I have been a a few dealerships where they looked at you as if they were doing you a favor working there, but not at OGHD, no question was too silly and each staff member has an answer with a smile.
My instructor was Glenn, he cared about the product OGHD was offering and it was clear that he wanted to share his love of riding with a new generation. Amazing attitude, amazing people and to top it all off, Old Glory Harley Davidson goes out of its way to support the troops.
Kudos guys for a job well done.

This place has top notch customer service and a wonderful selection of everything HD. We’ve purchased 3 bikes from this place and would never go anywhere else. Old Glory isn’t the closest dealership to us but they are worth going a few extra miles. We have always been made to feel at home here. Great events too! I went to buy a helmet today and the service was great, this lady call Tam ask if i need it help looking for something as soon as she saw me, she was very nice to me and patient and boy did i give her work i try every helmet they had and she never seem bother by the fact i had her going back and forth.
I was kind of relief because i really need it help today and she did an amazing job.

Took my Road King in for some service and a Maryland State Inspection. They got to it quickly and were pretty good at communications. THey fixed the problem I brought it in for but never did the inspection.
Prices were astronomical, I know it is Harley Davidson… the prices are always high.
I signed up for the Riders Edge course (not once but twice) for my daughter and I. I was told we will contact you 2 – 3 weeks before class to obtain payment. They never called either time.
I don’t understand company’s that do not want to make money.

Don’t go here. I had them install a set of slip ons and a fuel pak. The slip ons were sloppily put on and the VH fuel pak was programmed wrong. The engine would cut off if I twisted the throttle all the way. Brought it back and the tech told me there was nothing wrong. I went home and reprogrammed it myself following the instructions and was all better. They did refund me the hundred bucks but only after I harassed them a bit. They also picked my bike up for free in an enclosed trailer.

I am the proud holder of a shiny new motorcycle endorsement which I can apply to my new DC driver’s license. I’ve just finished the «Rider’s Edge» course and had a great experience that I’d recommend to any beginning rider.
As a wedding gift, I signed us up for Rider’s Edge. For $ 350 per person, you take two weekday evenings of classroom instruction and two full days of skills instruction, and tests that will exempt you from the horror of the DMV stuff.
If you’re daunted by the amount of money and time required, be reassured, it is worth it for what you get out of it: a great foundation of basic skills, an immersion into the world of motorcycles, strategies for managing risk on the road, and a way to increase your own confidence and wrap your head around what you want to get out of your riding experience.
The level of both classroom and skills instruction was excellent and the experience was surprisingly fun. The course and materials are well designed and incorporate a ton of team-​work and interaction. I know how awful that would sound to me (typically I hate people, especially new people and can’t be bothered with actually interacting with them) but despite a rather off-​beat cast of characters, I was quite fond of the group of students and the two instructors we had, Gerard and Pete. Imagine you woke up in a mash-​up of the tv shows «Community» and «King of the Hill.» Trippy, but fun.
I can’t wait to ride again and I’ll have a much more solid sense of my own capabilities, and how to build them up, having done the basic skills course.
