Wing Ranch

We order here quite frequently when we have a taste for wings. The wings are pretty good but the service is painfully slow. Even when we call in an order, we have to wait at least 20 minutes past the promised wait time before the food is ready! Definitely don’t go here when you are in a hurry or looking for quality service.

My favorite wing place. We like lemon pepper, mild (which has a little kick) and the garlic Parmesan. I always order them extra crispy. We also can no longer share fries, we have to get the fries box now. They are just really good. Fried pickle spears are delicious as well.

Took a visit to wing ranch last week with a groupon deal they still have going on for a get $ 20 for the price of $ 10. First impression of these guys are very cool, nice group, who had no problems suggesting their own personal favorites and telling me what I should try.
I settled on their 20 piece combo for $ 20, which comes with a small side of fries, carrots/​celery, your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing, and a fountain soda. You can also split the 20 wings into two flavors if you desire, or get all the same flavor. I split mine into 10 lemon pepper wings, and 10 Sweet Red Chili wings.
Not done, I asked the staff what sort of side would they recommend between sweet potato wedges, tots or fried okra. I was told to ignore all three and try the freshly made pork skins, which are seasoned with one of several types of a dry spice of your choice, so I definitely ordered those for $ 4
Positives:
The pork skins were as advertised, and not only were they delicious, very light and crispy, but geez you got a lot. Such a bargain! I also enjoyed the flavor of the sweet red chili wings, which aren’t spicy at all, but have nice flavor that isn’t overpowering in the sweet department
Negatives:
The size of the wings are a little small for me, and the lemon pepper wings weren’t really flavored as i’d like them to be.
The restaurant is pretty huge, and I was informed that on Saturdays they have trivia night, so if you love trivia, this may be your place.
I really want to give these guys more than 3 stars, because their customer service was great, and some of their products were pretty delicious. I’ll have to come back soon and hope I can give them an extra star!

A fun, unassuming neighborhood restaurant. Another post mentioned that the wings are small, but I prefer these compared to the steroid — infused wings you find elsewhere. Sauces are great, and they have some other very good non-​wing items on the menu. Full bar with TV’s and the NFL package. A young staff can be hit or miss at times, but a great atmosphere that’s definitely worth giving a try.

Wow, I opened this app after I got here for wings. After reading some of these reviews, I was about to walk out.
My bride and I hung in and ordered wings, chips and veggies.
We were shocked. The veggies were nice and crisp, the chips were hot and great and the wings were some of the best we had ever had.
The server was great too.
Thanks for the surprise. We will be back.

How is this place still open? The wings suck. Sorry, I can’t be any more articulate than that. They’re tinyyyyy, and the «flavors» are really just sauces with a lot of pepper in them, or a lot of honey, etc. I tried 6 flavors and only one was passable: the OMG Garlic wings. Even these were salty! How do you mess up wings?
I ate here when they first opened a long time ago and now I remember why I haven’t been back.
Tuesday is 55¢ wing night and still not worth it.

I stopped by Wing Ranch during lunch one day to place a take out order. I browsed the menu, and quickly noticed a peculiarity. Do they seriously charge extra for most of their sauces? I know of wing places that do charge extra for one or two of their sauces; however, this is due to either premium ingredients or extra prep steps. This definitely did not apply to any of Wing Ranch’s sauces. I decided to try lime pepper and extra hot.
Wings do not take a very long time to make. If somebody is placing a take out order during lunch, they likely do not have very much time. It is the restaurant’s responsibility to properly notify the person if it’ll take an unreasonable amount of time. I got irritated and walked up to the counter after 20 minutes had passed, only to see them finally putting together my order. It took 25 minutes from the time printed on my receipt to receive my order, despite the fact that the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Did I get a «Sorry for the wait» or even a «Thank you so much for waiting?» No, of course I didn’t.
I was hoping that the wings would save the experience for me, but I should’ve known better. I can accept either small wings or overcooked wings, but you insult me when you combine the two. The wings were borderline inedible, saved only by dunking them in ranch.
There were absolutely zero redeeming qualities to my experience at Wing Ranch. Maybe their premium sauces are among the best sauces ever, but I certainly won’t return to find out.

I was there last week. Burger was juicy, fresh, and crispy, which I enjoyed. Wings were tasty and comes with various favors. French fries were good.

Great wings, cold beer, and decent staff. Go on a Friday night to hear local musicians. I saw «I’m Not Fred» and had a great time singing along. Probably stayed too late, but it was too much fun!

Great Ranch flavored wings. Great prices as well. My Go To spot for wings and a Beer!

It’s a good thing the wings are good because the service and ambience and in-​house childcare leave something to be desired.
Having to chase someone down every time you need something gets old quickly and considering how relatively unbusy they were I would have thought the wings would be hot when they got to the table.
The in-​house childcare reference is because one. of the employees seemingly had a child there as did a couple at the bar. None. of the parents were very interested in controlling the children.
Next time… take out.

The Customer service at this wing ranch is really bad. The employees spend a lot of time talking with their friends at the bar. It takes over 30 mins to get your order insane!!!

I was about to give this place two stars, but then I realized I have had a worse experience. The location itself, the staff, the service, and the venue was awesome! The cashier was super nice and actually went above and beyond for us. We came here when we saw that they had a groupon. Although there were a handful of people at the bar, it looked like it could get busy on Weekend nights. They have many TV screens and space.
The wing sauces were really awesome too. If you like spicy I would highly recommend the cajun sauce and the mango haberno. It has this spicy but slightly sweet taste.
However… the wings were dry/​overcooked tasting. The lime pepper tasted more like a lemon pepper than a lime pepper. It wasn’t bad though and the citrus chipotle was good also, but it tasted more like a sweet bbq. Not what I was expecting, but I am not knocking off stars for that. Just a little sidenote.
I would try these wings again, but I have had better.

Best wings in the area. Neighborhood joint that has good wings and good prices. We’ve been loyal customers since they opened 8 years ago. Better sides than you will find at other wing places. A good place for kids and groups.

Awful. Don’t try to order the Super Bowl special $ 35 for 50 wings. Not bad even for their small wings but $ 7 more for the dressing that is always included plus $ 10 to split between two flavors (allowed in the menu) and the «special» costs more than the menu price. The wings are not good enough to be ripped off and have bad customer service.
Try another wing spot!

Ordered a chicken Caesar salad dry (no dressing) and no cheese. Came out swimming in dressing with no chicken and cheese all over it. AFTER the waitress repeated back the order «just to make sure»…so The remake salad had no chicken but came out dry with no cheese. Probably not going to come back. Sorry but not sorry

Food is good, prices are on the high side for wings & fries! I ordered a 10 piece wing combo (which came w/​fries and a drink) and a 6 piece side of fried corn bites and my bill was almost $ 16??? The Ranch wings are soooo good, but wings are sold everywhere, so not sure why these guys are pricing menu items so high. Due to the high prices, only gave them a ³⁄₅ stars.

I cannot condone going to wing ranch for any reason. I went on a Sunday had the house to myself watching football… Wanted some wings. I went saw the wings were rather over priced but to hell with it they r probably huge n come with carrots n celery. I paid «like a jack-​ass» about $ 10-​$ 12 for 12 extremely small wings no carrots no celery no fries nothing but 12 baby wings. My advise go to Zaxby’s n call it a day

This place has some really good wings. I can’t deny them of that. The beer on tap is really cold also. Though wild wing café has all of those different brands of wings, I will take these wings before anyone else and that’s the truth. As any type of wings, they’re best when eaten straight out of the fryer and seasoned. They season them perfectly also for my taste. If I had some fried rice to go with their wings I would be in heaven! :)
