Acker Plumbing & Air Conditioning

Never will we allow this contractor back into our home. This was a contractor that was offered to us by our home warranty company. They had such terrible manners and were very disrespectful to myself, my husband and our family. In short, he «forgot all about our appointment» and did not arrive until late that evening. When they did arrive, my husband and Mr. Acker went into our bathroom to see the sediment build up but his associate had not come inside with him. His associate comes in about 5 minutes later and just walks into our home, unannounced, did not introduce himself and just says, «where did they go?» I, with our 2 year old son in hand, ask if he is with the plumber, and he very disrespectfully just says, «Yeah, where are they at?» By the time they arrived, the emergent issue that we had at 6AM when the initial request was called into Landmark had already been resolved so Mr. Acker and his associate nonchalantly glazed over the still lasting issue, sediment in our water system. After dismissing the problem and telling my husband that it was just salt and we should just wait to have the system flush itself, they noticed the sediment was in fact small plastic beads and that «we should google how to get rid of it.» Upon looking over the water heater, Mr. Acker decided he was not going to flush the water heater because «people rarely do it, anyway.» He did not assist with removing any of the sediment, did not check all of the faucets and fixtures, he did not offer assistance to the issue but of course he did press for his payment.
Very terrible experience and will never recommend this contractor. We have already submitted complaints to Public Relations at Landmark and submitted a formal complaint with the BBB.

Frank, the owner, personally came to 78 704, on a Saturday to fix a disposal before a dinner party! What a sweetheart and runs a great business!

This company is outstanding. The owner takes all calls. He gave us his personal cell… and even took a call at 8AM on a Sunday. During the service call Frank, the owner and primary service provider brought me a twenty dollar bill that he had found in my garage… I had recently lost it. Fantastic service coupled with an amazing attitude. Can’t get better than that! Five stars.
