HitMaker Music School offers superior music lessons in guitar, piano, voice, violin, flute and more in a clean, safe and family oriented home school type environment. Our music school provides unique lessons in modern music with the optional participation in groups, band rehearsals and recitals at our own outdoor venue, the Red Oak Stage.

We believe in a low pressure, family friendly environment and operate out of a home reconstructed to be a music school. Our home-​like music school also has WiFi and comfortable lobby for adults to be productive and comfortable during children’s music lessons in Leander, Cedar Park and Liberty Hill.

History

Established in 2005.

Director, Mike Irene, holds a Bachelors degree from Berklee College of Music. His idea was to bring music students of all ages together to learn with and from each other how to play in a band. Students of various levels have opportunities to enter into our «performance program» which gives students a chance to practice in ensemble rehearsals in addition to their private lessons.

Hit Maker Music School offers a curriculum based on fundamental studies of music and how to apply these skills to playing a song from start to finish. Our music school focuses on performance training for musicians of all ages in Bass Lessons, Drum Lessons, Voice Lessons, Piano Lessons & Guitar Lessons. We call it «Rhythm Section Training.» Our plan is fun and engaging for students with serious results. We also offer violin lessons, cello, lessons, flute lessons and mandolin lessons to students from Leander, Cedar Park, Liberty Hill, & Georgetown, TX.

Business Owner

Mike Irene has pursued a life in music since the age of 10, and now realizing the dream of owning his own music school with the operational values of upholding God, family with both personal and professional achievement. Starting with the drums at age 6, Mike took private lessons for over 10-​years. In grade school and beyond, he was in choir groups, barber shop quartets, director of High School varsity singer and many, many musicals.

The natural ability and desire to pursue music led Mike to the Berlee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in MUsic. After college, Mike spent years honing his skills as a musician performing in Boston and New York City, where he met his wife, and then moved to Texas in 2001.

Since 2002, Mike taught for the Leander ISD, private lessons, and worked for popular music schools in Pflugerville and Cedar Park. All of this experience transformed the dream of owning and operating a music into a reality.
