T Nail Design

Well, for starters: I came here on a Friday morning communicating that I had limited time but needed a regular fill and a spa pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure was very nice and did a good job. However, she did say that together they’d only take like 45 – 50 minutes. While my pedicure was finishing up I reminded her that I have a limited time but for some reason as soon as I said that– all of the other nail ladies went on a 20+ break right after I was told to sit at one of the nail stations to get my fill. They all stood staring at me eating, and laughing while talking in the kitchen. (This is like 4 technicians all on break at the same time) I believe in breaks and all but the shop JUST opened and they could’ve left atleast 2 on the floor to tend to customers. When the lady started my fill, I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she couldn’t do that so I ended up paying extra for something she didn’t even do… And she wanted to have an attitude when I told her politely to fix crooked nails and whatnot claiming that they weren’t crooked. She was very slow and careless to my needs and when I told them all that I had to get to work by a certain time so if they can’t do it I’ll just have them do it another time. That lady was very slow and careless. I could see if she actually did a good job, but that wasn’t the case. It is now Saturday night and my nails are already lifting from underneath. I will not be back. Please DONT waste your time or money. The one time I go to a cheaper salon and I regret it… (I never write bad reviews, but this place deserves it… Aside from the pedicure lady lol)

I had to ask for simple things like warmer water and cuticle remover! Really?!
Linda rushed through and got gel all on my cuticles and almost cut me a few times. I’m not even sure if the tools were clean. I got oil on my arms as a massage and another squirt on my legs for a quick rub in… What a disappointment!
It was late and they still took my business. I guess I have to say this was the only good thing

So first of all I never come to this part of town but my friend asked me to come with her so I thought I always can go for a mani and pedi so I joined and I literally waited 35 minutes and no one still hadn’t helped me, they finished her pedicure and nobody helped me except for said «what color?» The nice thing todo was at least give me a heads up that there was a long wait even though there is like 35 workers here just talking to eachother.

Never disappointed been coming to this place for 9 yrs just love them. great pricing, good job on nails. They are quick to get you seated in and not making you wait even if you come in as a walk in. lee & gina absolutely amazing job Thank you guys see you in 2 wks

Update to my last visit. Be careful with Helen’s sister and the services while getting your pedi. I went in and asked for my usual mani-​pedi with the base price of$ 18. Don’t know what she did to increase the charge to $ 21. My feet are not rough, do not have callous on them. She’s always saying, «I’m going to make them nice and smooth,» don’t need that. She doesn’t do anything different.

Very bad customer service never going back again!!! Very rude people. I asked for design for my daughter and she wanted all 10 fingers. We told the lady what design she wanted it was a little cat and they said ok
Well when she sat down first the lady kept trying to have her change the design and I told her no that’s the one she wants and she kept saying no and not all 10 fingers only 2 and I was like well what if I want to pay for all 10 fingers. Long story short she did not get anything I didn’t either and they just lost 2 customers. I had been there before multiple of times but if u ask them to do anything that they don’t want u are screwed and will get major attitude. No wonder the place is always empty!

Came in on a whim last weekend to get my nails done (acrylic set and spa pedicure) for my birthday. Like I said, it was on a whim so I wasn’t interested in spending a lot of money. Stumbled on T Nail Design and since it was already late in the afternoon, I headed right over. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait and was immediately seated for my spa pedicure.
SPA PEDICURE: For this service alone, I would’ve rated T at 2 stars because my pedicure was nothing special. The water was barely luke warm which was an immediate disappointment. Instead of the usual oil/​lotion massage, I got oil spread over my legs. Also, the polish wasn’t applied evenly and is very streaky.
ACRYLIC FULL SET: I was really looking to nude coffin shaped nails. I fell for the $ 11.99 full set special. Luckily, my nail tech (Brian) immediately started off by asking me what shape I wanted my nails. I showed him a picture and he went right to work! The pricing came out a little higher than the special but I assume it was for the extra filing he had to do to get the shape just right.
Brian made small talk but wasn’t too chatty. I actually appreciated it since I just wanted to relax and had been out running errands all day. The shop got pretty busy towards the end of my visit so his sister finished off the set by applying the gel polish. Overall, I had a good experience for the amount of money I paid but if I return, it would be for a full set from Brian.

GREAT salon nothing fancy or prestigious. I’ve tried all the nail salons on Broadway and T’s IS THE BEST! Window says 11.99 for full set but I paid 15. big deal. great place!!!

This has been my go-​to place for 10+ years. I’ve had acrylics, regular manicures, pedicures, and now gels — all fantastic. Lee runs a great little shop. This is a not a high end salon — they do waxing, massage and facials but the big business is nails, simply done and done well. If you want to hang with the Kardashians, go elsewhere. Yes, they speak Vietnamese with each other. The employees seem to genuinely enjoy working together together. There’s a friendly, busy vibe in the air and it’s a pleasure to relax and get pampered. Massage chairs are available or you can have your man/​pedi done in a regular chair. I would suggest calling and making an appointment — they do get busy because word of their awesomeness has spread!

I’ve tried this place a few times (different people each time) I felt like they’d tell me a different price each time I went for the same thing. Also my nails lifted too quickly.

I just got a simple French tip, which looking at them they don’t look bad but I gave 2 stars because the lady did my acrylic nails in about 20 minutes, she rushed through them like the world was ending tomorrow, & not only that when I realized that one of my hands set was longer than the other I asked if they could file them down to be even & they rudely responded with «come back tomorrow». Like really? I regret leaving a tip. I wouldn’t really recommend this place.

Worst place ever do not go there! They are extremely rude and make you wait and they pass you over when it’s your turn and they do an awful job

If there was a star for please please dont waste time or you money i would put that i went there and not only were they under staffed but no one said hello or how are you i think only one person smiled at me then went talking in her laugange which i dont mind but dont give me dirty looks while your talking about me in a different tounge. Anyhow after my toes and that so called one minute message which was just spreading lotion ontop of my feet and rubbing it all off with a extremely hot towel that almost burnt my skin i waited for almost a half an hour and they finally say come to get your eyebrows wax i said no just finish my nails so i can leave this place then i finish my mani and the lady was so rude she was cutting my skin and everything i had to scream at her about three times till she got the hit that it wasnt a joke anymore. then she finally finished and had the nerve to ask me for a tip i laughed and walked out saying i shouldnt even had payed you. though people are horrible someone needs to call state and figure out why they are still in business.

Spent about $ 80 on three people. My daughter got her feet and nails done with Gel Shellac four days later almost all of her nails were off. I called to ask if the could fix it and the guy who answered the phone gave us major attitude. Never again!

My girls and I were in the neighborhood and were looking for a nail salon that had reasonable prices, positive reviews and quality work. We found this shop on Unilocal,so we gave it a try.
I am so glad we did! $ 10 Pedicures & Fills! $ 15 for a full set of acrylics! Sweet deals and quality work!

I’m not someone who gets their nails done often… but I decided to take my sister for a late Mother’s Day outing. She’s not super fancy, so we were going to the place next door for some cheap pedicures. There was a long wait so we went to this place instead. We were quoted for $ 15 spa pedicures. We walked in and they were able to seat us right away.
They got the spa and massage chairs running… all very relaxing. We decided to get our toes done twinsie style! We got matching mermaid looking pedicures… it was adorable! They did a good scrub, file, base coat, polish, top coat and dry combo!
They do take card… make sure you add tip to the total BEFORE they swipe.
The workers here are the normal «talk in a different language in front of you» type. After i paid for me and my sister, the girl who did my toes was standing behind me expecting me to say or do something else? I thought to myself… i already tipped? i suggest to bring cash to make it easier.
I was pleased with my pedicure though… and enjoyed the spa part. I’d come back for sure, just because it’s affordable, local and convenient. I’m not one to pamper myself this often, but THAT was nice :)

Idk where to start … The ladies are rude, I don’t mind people speaking their own languages but i feel like speaking it the whole time is very rude. The biggest problem was my infected toe from getting a pedicure. If you care about your health please be careful and don’t come here. I won’t even return to complain, I’ll let state board take care of it. DISGUSTING PLACE !!!

They need more workers and when doing my pedicure she spent 10 seconds total when scrubbing my feet! They rushed my whole pedicure and manicure then had the nerve to ask me if I was tipping! Not impressed at all.

NEVER AGAIN! This place is a freaking nightmare!!! I Spent a total of $ 90.00(including tips for all those awful women) for services for my hubby, daughter and myself, I should’ve not tipped BUT I did.
We went here because our usual place was booked, my poor daughter got the WORST treatment there, I don’t even think that that over weight older looking Asian woman there even has a license to do the work that she’s supposed to be doing! she cut my daughter and several of her nails were bleeding, my daughter was only going there for a simple fill and I swear this woman must’ve thought this was an open heart surgery! Our pedis were ok, BUT not impressed! My pedi could’ve been better!!! NEVER AGAIN will I go here and I recommend that you don’t either! They are rude when you tell them that they need to fix something and they are constantly talking in their language and I’m sure they are talking about u!
Dirty-​run-​down place, Oh and it’s so funny how the owner acts like «she is not the owner», typical of them to do that, specially when you have a concern…
Anyone have any good Nail Salons that you can recommend?

Unimpressed. It is pretty cheap. $ 1 charge for CC use (which I always think is BS — only nail salons do this crap).
I’ve been trying different places who can do Gel on my natural nails. I have yet to be happy with anyone. Nina soaked my nails in acetone to remove the old gel for 30 minutes… even though it was pretty much off in 5 minutes. I pray I don’t get cancer.
The color is basically nothing. The color in their little OPI brand gel containers are 95% lighter than what will actually end up on your nails. I’ve had better. The point of the Gel is to have the color on your nails last longer and not chip since the nail polish isn’t sitting on your real nail which produces oils and eventually causes the chipping. I have had Gel French tips and it stayed for 2 weeks! Doesn’t have that acrylic look either. Cuz lord knows I’m over the acrylics… had those for about 15 years.
Anyway, 1.5 hours later! she’s finally done. Although, I’m very displeased with the color, it looks good. I planned on using my CC for the normal payment and cash for the tip. I hand her my CC. She just sits there with the CC. [awkward pause]. I pull out my ID (is that what she wants?). I didn’t think to say something about having cash for her tip. Then Nina says, «you gonna add a tip?» LMFAO Wow! Really?
I’m done, you’re done, we’re done T Nail Design. No thank you.
