Menu with a lot of variety. Great place for vegans, and vegetarians. Almost all of the entrees can have tofu added which is a huge plus. Service is fast and atmosphere is nice. I had the peanut sauce entrée with tofu added. Incredibly flavorful. We also had the spring roll appetizer which was very good as well. My only complaint is that the food wasn’t quite as warm as I’d like. Other that that, the place was great.

Items I have had so far have been very good. Service is great. It is also great to see that they not only wipe off the tables when guests leave but also pay attention to the seats.

We are locals and love this restaurant! Haven’t had a bad thing on the menu yet. This Thai is on point. Only complaint is they turn down the heat on the dishes even when you request hot, hot! My favorite dish is the Pad Thai with Shrimp, you won’t be disappointed!

Very good portion sizes! I ordered the shrimp pad Thai & asked for medium heat. ITWASHOT! The flavor was awesome. Tried Lily Thai first because of the other review here & was very disappointed. We preferred this place much more. We will be back!

Five stars for the attentive service as well as actually delivering something spicy enough to really make me need to constantly blow my nose. Was visiting the area from NY where I have access to a lot of great Thai options in Manhattan. However, most places don’t deliver quite as much heat as I’d like(even upon an extra spicy request). Upon receiving their hottest level of spice, Thai hot, my companion and I were constantly sniffling which I consider a good thing. Also, the portions are humongous. I tried as hard as I could to finish, but still came out with leftovers. Would definitely stop by again for another spicy fix.

Friendly service! Good Pad Thai! Not a fan of the pork but other than that was very good. Awesome Sweet n Sour Mushroom Soup!

The food is mostly good, the Thai tea is great! The service, however, is second to none. Bravo! Our waiter is usually the same foreign fellow, and he nails it every time. Russian maybe? He’s awesome. I’d give them 5 stars, but the portions are a little small for my taste. So, for that alone, 4 stars. But well worth checking out!

Ok, this is strip mall Thai, so I think some of the pretentious reviews are a bit off. Like others, I’m craving for more places like this in the Lewes area that serve good food and don’t break the bank. They are a bit low on staff, but give them a chance. I’ve been here for lunch and takeout. Pad Thai and yellow curry w/chicken. Both were good. Certainly not the best Thai I’ve had, but respectable for what you get.

Have been yearning for good Thai food in LSDFORYEARS! Two visits, not bad at All! guess they did get their alcohol Permit, haven’t tried it yet! Alex is a great server! Lunch specials should contain some thing more than a dollar or two off the dinner menu, soup salad, spring roll etc, and, of course a smaller main and Nothing else? Pad Thai, tasty seasonings, way too few Veges Prefer cold sprouts, grated carrots, maybe cilantro on top after its cooked. Will try more, my soup was so flavorful with a bit heavy on tomato? Very much want great Thai food here!

Spoiled by great NoVa Thai places and skeptical of restaurants at the beach. But so far, pretty good. Contrary to some reviews here, service was fast and courteous. I sat alone at the former sushi bar, which was comfortable. Tried the fresh garden rolls and Red Curry chicken. Garden Rolls were decent, not great but large and fresh tasting and crunchy(most of these at less formal restaurants come out of the fridge, but these seemed to have been just made). Curry was excellent, authentic and tasty. I like my curry a little thicker, and this is definitely of the soupy variety, but they offered it spicy and it was. Will have to try the Drunken Noodles and meat dishes next time, but all in all a pleasant surprise.

We want more Thai restaurants so we tried this place. Never got to try the food. Sat for 30 minutes waiting for food then found out our order was never submitted. We left. We notice another table got the wrong order twice. So disappointed. We like Lily Thai but would like a Thai restaurant closer to Lewes. This place isn’t the one.

My curry was good the first time I came. I like the fish cakes and dumplings as an appetizer. I did not think the chicken satay was very good. Ginger duck was ok. My son got sweet and sour chicken which we did not think was very good. Desert was good: fried bananas and ice cream. If you live nearby it would be worth coming in for Thai coffee or tea and the fried banana desert. Overall I would give the curry ***, the appetizers ***, the desert *** and anything that sounds like it belongs on a Chinese’s menu one star.

Wanted to love it. Ingredient quality was fine, but taste and and ingredients were in left field. Had pad thai and drunken noodles… wow, the furthest taste from authentic i’ve ever had. Quantity was fine, but really pathetic taste. I felt like i was almost eating plain spaghetti. Anyway, if you’ve never ever ate thai before and have plain tastes this might be ok. If you are looking for great thai taste, maybe the curries are better… i won’t be going back to see.

I have frequented the Dover location for many years. I was excited to visit the new location in Lewes, even though I saw the negative reviews here. We had a wonderful meal! The food was freshly prepared and flavorful. Service was good(although it was around 3:30pm, so they were not crowded). My companion and I shared basil glass noodles with beef, which was prepared just as requested(medium). My volcano lamb was excellent and Thai hot as I asked. My friend’s basil catfish was tasty and well seasoned but not too spicy. The hot and sour chicken soup and curry puffs were delicious. I would say the chef here is better than the one in Dover, where the experience has been hit-or-miss of late.

This restaurant is in a small strip store mall which allows for ample parking. The menu is varied and the selection is generous. Of the dishes I sampled, the apps were well-presented and tasty. The entrees are another matter. This spot needs to get some time and experience under its belt. It’s suffering some growing pains. There was quite a wait for takeout and the service was slow and a little rough around the edges. The ambience is severely lacking; it seems that they’ve taken over space from a former coffee shop. More needs to be done to make the space warmer, starting with the music and décor. Bangkok Thai holds lots of promise and could be an authentic cultural food spot if they choose to not«dumb down«the quality of the food. Their customers will expect it or they won’t return.

Sadly, we went for lunch the other day. The food was poorly prepared and insipid. The owners have so Americanized the menu and cheapened the ingredients all they have left is bad. It’s just basically crap and not worth a second visit. These people have another place in Dover and are veterans. No excuse. Really wish for good Thai in Sussex County.

Love the curry best. You can’t go wrong. They could invest more in atmosphere as they use an uncomfortBle coffee shop décor…

Second time trying this location. My quarrel with the Dover shop has always been that this is Thai«lite” – dumbed down and cheaper out for American palates. I keep hoping to find a gem or three on the menu, though, so I come back. The Pad Thai is the only self-respecting, somewhat authentic dish so far. Thai curry puffs are also good. Steamed dumplings are fair to middling. Skip the Tom Kha Gai– tho it has galangal, it lacks flavor that should be coming from chicken, lemon grass, fish sauce and cilantro. You can get a spicy tray to amend the soup, but it’s work I would rather not have to do. Portion sizes are designed not for family style dining but meant as Western style entrees served with rice. Fresh garden rolls are the Vietnamese style and contained too much iceberg lettuce. Pad See Ew we ordered without carrots or baby corn. Unfortunately, it is not made with wide fresh rice noodle, but mid-sized dry noodles. Also, this trip, Mussaman curry –stupider than I like, but flavorful; and eggplant and basil, which was only fair. For dessert, mango with sticky rice was up to par and the little banana rolls that were served with the vanilla ice cream were delicious!

Delicious food. Mild = super spicy! Ask for no spice if you don’t like hot! The noodle bowls are great, Thai version of phở. Pad See Ewe was different than any I’ve ever had but still yummy. Dumplings are my favorite appetizer.
