Papa John’s Pizza

The pizza here has always been good, but unless the sun’s still up or you’re ordering delivery I’d recommend going somewhere else.
The last time I ordered here, I placed a cash carryout order online at 11:08 p.m. When I got to the store, the door was locked with a sign saying «no carryout after 10:30.» After banging on the door a few times and finally getting the attention of the employees inside who were sitting around doing nothing, I was directed to the drive-​thru window — on foot.
I told the employee who came to the window that I was picking up an online order, he retrieved it, I handed him a $ 10 bill for the $ 7.16 due and was given $ 2.80 in change with no cash receipt.
Perhaps he felt he deserved a mandatory 4-​cent gratuity for granting me the special privilege of being allowed to pick up this order I apparently should have never been allowed to place, perhaps they were out of pennies or perhaps he simply made a mathematical error.
Given the Herculean effort required just to make it that far, however, I didn’t feel like standing around on the side of a dark building in an even darker drive-​thru lane in a sketchy neighborhood waiting to get run over by a car on a Saturday night following a UK football home win arguing with a teenager over shorting me 4 cents.
It’s extremely unlikely I’ll be patronizing this location again any time soon.

Good customer service. I’ve order online and never had a problem here.
