History

Established in 1973.

Lilburn Eyecare opened its doors to the Lilburn and surrounding communities to give quality eye care to the local residents.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael B.

Business Owner

Dr. Michael Barnett attended the Louisiana State University, where he did his undergraduate work. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate Degree of Optometry at the University of Houston, Texas in 1971.

Dr. Barnett joined the practice in 1973 after serving two years as a Captain in the United States Army. While stationed in Korea, he received the Army Commendation Medal for Distinguished Service as Chief Optometry Officer.

Dr. Joseph L. Andersen joined the practice in 1994 after graduating from the Southern California College of Optometry with honors. Dr. Andersen received his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy and subsequently served 5 years as a Biological and Chemical Warfare officer. During his tour, he received his MBA degree from Wright State University along with the Air Force Commendation and Distinguished Service medals.
