History

Established in 1990.

Optical Insights in Lilburn was founded by Dr. Richard Heggeland in 1990. He built his practice on the principle of providing caring, personalized eye care in a comfortable, family-​oriented environment. He recently sold his practice to Dr. Amin because he was confident she would be able to continue his idea of quality care while adding her ocular disease experience. Dr. Amin is committed to providing the highest standard of eye health care with personalized service and hopes to leave a lasting impression on all her patients.

Meet the Business Owner

Boski A.

Business Owner

Dr. Boski Amin graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida, where she earned her B.S. degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. She was awarded her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. As part of her training, she completed internships at a busy private practice in McDonough, Georgia and at the Salisbury Veterans Medical Center in North Carolina. She most recently completed a residency in ocular disease at the well-​known Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. She is very comfortable with treating and managing a wide array of ocular pathology. She has also been well-​trained in managing pre and post operative cataract patients. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at the Special Olympics and other charity outreach programs. Her hobbies include tennis, volleyball, and cooking.
