My husband and I ate here on a Saturday night. It wasn’t at all busy, which is surprising due to it’s location in the Haymarket. I had the ½ lb. Pulled pork and chose the bruschetta and fruit salad as my sides. I thought the bruschetta was good and I really liked the fruit salad. It was yummy. The pulled pork was okay. Not the best but not the worst either. I think next time I’ll try the chicken salad. My husband had the barbecue bison withholding beans as his side and he thought both were pretty good. We each had the bread pudding for dessert and I thought it was good.

Price and quantity is good, but I wasn’t over-wowed by the ribs(best I’ve had in town so-far is Phat Jacks). Mac n’ Cheese was just okay, nothing special. The surprising highlight was the coleslaw, a little bit of kick and it had fried tortilla strips to give it some crunch and some corn, because why not?

We found it to be very disappointing. We had enjoyed Brix stone there before. We thought it would be a nice restaurant. When we walked in which should of been a busy night there was only one other couple in whole place. We weren’t sure if we were to seat ourselves or a hostess. Then we noticed way at end of place a counter with 2 girls to place order at. We almost left thinking its a walk up order. But we were hungry. We asked what’s good here and the young girl talked rapidly and softly turning towards the board menu behind her. We didn’t understand anything she said. I asked for a lemon in my drink which is self serve and never got one. My husband asked for a mug with his beer and they gave him a plastic cup. Everything is disposable. I got the buffalo sloppy joe which meat flavor was ok. But the bread was a long hard roll. It looked nice. But was so shiny and hard it tasted like biting with the bag over it. I ended up digging the soft bread out of middle. I got the pasta side. Again, looked good. But zero flavor. It had no taste. Sadly I don’t think they’ll stay in business long.

Me and my husband both tried different types of chicken salad. We had raspberry, garlic and herb, curry, and honey chipotle. The raspberry was ok, the garlic and herb was a bit too salty for me, didn’t quite like the curry, but I must say that the Honey Chipotle was amazing!
