We stopped here for fun, and the kids were thrilled to feed the goats, peacocks, bunnies, chickens, and other animals. It’s great that they give the kids the food in a ice cream cone… and the animals seem to love it too! I’m told that when the farm harvest happens the corn here is incredible… makes me drool just thinking about it. This is a great rural spot to take the little ones.

What’s between Hudson and ManchVegas on the east side of the Merrimack River? Litchfield. 3A is one of my favorite lazy Sunday drives, and the farm stands that populate it are certainly worth visiting. McQuestern Farm stand has a good assortment of produce and plants. Their corn is pretty tasty, but what this place has that other roadside farm stands don’t are the animals. Bring the kids and a camera. The big draw are the goats. You should also brush up on your Sandler goat sketch quotes, because your friends are going to be making a lot of those jokes, and you don’t want to be the one wondering why calling someone a «regular Staubach» is so funny. They also sell little ice cream cones filled with feed pellets, and the goats will also dig on leftover corn silage. They also have peacocks and a few other animals.
