Specialties

Sunnycrest farm is a family-​owned apple farm with pick-​your-​own apples, strawberries, blueberries and cherries, as well as a farmer’s market with fresh local vegetable and fruits and NH Honey, syrup and milk. We also have a bakery that offers apple donuts and breads.

History

Established in 1943.

There’s a season for everything here at Sunnycrest Farm. Come experience «hands on» farming, and harvest your very own crops in our pick your own fields. We grow a variety of crops with you and your family in mind. In June we kick off the year with pick your own strawberries, perfect for pies or just eating them fresh out of the fields. As strawberries go out of season in July our blueberries, cherries, and raspberries flare up in bright patriotic color just in time for the Fourth of July. We supply you with all the buckets and bags you need at our pick your own booths. Come pick a bouquet of flowers for your kitchen table in our large flower field. As summer fades, fall harvests a new set of crops. In August, we have a second season of raspberries, both red and golden berries. September begins pick your own apples. We have several varieties, such as Cortland, Macintosh, Red Delicious, and Mutsu!

No big bag is allowed in the farm. in may case, a bag fit A4 is what they called «big bag».
If you are a mom like me who has young kids and has to carry all kids stuffs around all the time, don’t even bother to bring you kids here.
For PYO apple, Currier orchard in Merrimack is our go to place. It’s small and nice. The cider is the best.
For small petting zoo, McQuesten Farm in Litchfield is better. Also, 5 minutes drive down the road toward south from McQuesten, there is a nice open playground which my kids love.

This is the best place in New England to pick apples and I don’t want anyone else to know about it. ;) The apples are as sweet as candy. It’s usually fairly quiet, but every year it seems to get more popular. I used to live in the next town over so I’ve been going there for years. Great apple pie and donuts.

We were bored on a Saturday afternoon and said, «Let’s go apple-​picking!» Sunnycrest was one of many around where we were, so we randomly chose it — and I’m glad we did!
The orchard is pretty vast with a huge variety of apples. In addition to having reasonable prices for the pick-​your-​own apples, they have a nice little store that sells all sorts of produce, bread, maple syrup, cider, etc. It is just so adorable and perfect.
In the end, the only regret I have is that I forgot to try their cider doughnuts! I’ve heard they’re fabulous and I will be back someday to try one!

Sunnycrest is a great farm. Even on fall weekends, where some farms are a mob scene, it is a peaceful oasis here. PYO rates are fair vs other farms in the area. The staff is always friendly and helpful. One suggestion is that I wished they allowed their honeycrisp to ripen a little longer. They are still very yummy though but they go fast, which is understandable with how popular they are.

My family and I love trips to Sunnycrest! During the spring, summer, and fall we do our best to buy all our produce there. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Their fresh baked breads are always yummy and their pies are perfection! Also, my husband brews beer and cider and we were told next year we can be alerted as to when they run their presses and get fresh pressed cider for hard cider! Nothing like a yummy treat from fruit grown right down the road!

We went to get pumpkins and fall treats. They had a few nice pumpkin patches, squash bins and mums outside. The prices were good, especially for the «gourd» items. Inside there was a good variety of items and nicely displayed. They had fresh milk and eggs, jams (sugar was the third ingredient in most cases, yeah!), some pastry, gourmet candy, maple products and decorations. The decorative gourds were 50 cents each so it was easy to get a bunch. It rained while we were shopping so we didn’t get to tour the orchard. They had a few goats and a sheep with a pretty good sized pen to run around in.

They run a nice P-​Y-​O operation. They have a decent selection of apple varieties in the fall and their on-​site bakery produces really, really good cider doughnuts.
There’s a pen of goats for the kids to check out and feed.
Added bonus — you don’t have to deal with blowhard owners’ political views.

One of life’s great delights is picking blueberries and other fruit in the fields behind the barn/​store. Peach trees, sugary-​sweet Concord grapes, you name it… It’s so peaceful and hauling all the good stuff home makes everybody happy.
They have immense PIY strawberry fields that ripen in June or July, and are equally good. If you don’t mind crouching or crawling on your knees, they are well mulched with dry straw. Big, red gems are under every leaf.
The owners are old-​time Londonderry folks holding onto one of the few remaining farms, so please go there.

Went with a few friends for local apple picking. Decent rates on bags, had a great time and plenty of apples. They also have a small market with homemade goods and such, recommended for a local attraction.
