Ace Computer Tutor specializes in helping people understand computers for everyday personal and business use.

I teach both Window PC’s and Apple computers (ipads and iphones too). Whether you need to understand the basics of how to use your computer, or you want more specific or advanced topics explained, I can help you. I can teach you to use common programs like Microsoft Word & Excel, Google, Windows and many more. I can help you navigate the Internet and show you how to use online apps like Skype, Facebook, or Ances​try​.com. I can help you customize your computer environment with all the many settings for email, parental controls, printing, and much, much more. I have done so many things with computers over the years; I can’t list it all here.

Let me know where you want to improve your computer skills, and chances are, I can help. I am very patient and customize my teaching approach to each individual client. We will go at your pace, and I won’t quit until you have got it!

History

Established in 1993.

Years ago when my father retired I was the obvious person to teach him how to use his home computer because of my IT education and career. Word got out and his newly retired friends also started calling me for help. Those people referred me to other people, and before long I was being asked for computer help on a regular basis. That word-​of-​mouth assistance grew into Ace Computer Tutor. Over time I have developed courses and materials for the most commonly requested computer topics. I am continually updating and expanding my teaching material as new software is released and based on what my clients are interested in.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Aided Engineering. I have worked for Lockheed Martin and Motorola Inc. I have held many computer positions including training, programming, user-​support and system administration. I have been using Personal Computers at work and at home for over 30 years. In that time I have worked on and owned all kinds of computers. I have used all of the most common applications, and quite a few of the not-​so-​common ones too. Both at work and at home, I have always been the one people came to when they had computer questions or problems. I find it very rewarding helping people unravel their computer dilemmas and sharing in that «Oh, I get it now!» moment. I would be happy to help you too.
