The customer service at this store is terrible. Every single time I want to get something from the hot food deli section the employee is busy packing chicken or unpacking boxes to stock shelves and he never stops to help me. Last time a woman had to come from the front of the deli window, take off her gloves, wash and then help me because the guy packing up hot chicken just ignored me. The only good customer service in this store is the cheese counter. That guy is always helpful.

I can’t stand most king soopers, but this one’s customer service desk is a joke. I was waiting in line and literally the cashier disregarded my existence and this other guy that just walked up to the service counter cut me in line and continued to serve him. didn’t even say hey this lady was waiting her before you. Probably because he was white and I’m not. You disgust me King Soopers, I refuse to give this store another red cent of mine. They probably wouldn’t want my non-white money anyways. Better than Safeway, not as good as Publix which sadly doesn’t exist in CO. Friendly staff, but they don’t always have everything in stock. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if I’m at a grocery store or a high school. Kids everywhere. They’re just there. In the way. They aren’t buying anything. Grocery stores are the new mall I guess. Just getting in and out of the doorway can be a challenge as it bottlenecks. Wish there was a separate exit by the registers. People are just in their own little world. There’s no such thing as a quick trip to this store. Avoid at all costs around a holiday or prior to winter weather.

If I had been on Unilocal a year ago, I would have given 5 stars without blinking an eye. But since early this year there’s been a change in management, and that’s reflected in the service you receive and the store itself. My wife and I have shopped here since the week it opened(it’s only two blocks from our house) and always found the selection and service outstanding. That’s changed a lot recently. Empty facings on the shelves and in the center aisles, a crew of new employees who really don’t seem to care about providing service, but have a really good time talking among themselves. The produce department is an adventure in walking around the lettuce leaves, cornstalks, grapes, etc. on the floor, and the entrance to the store is covered with debris more often than not. Part of the problem is the kids from the nearby middle and high schools that invade the store on weekdays, but it’s not much better on the weekends. The previous managers were always visible, hustling carts, bagging at checkout, cleaning up, stocking shelves, greeting customers. The new manager does none of that, or at least I haven’t seen it, since I think I’ve only seen her twice, and both times it was while she was walking out of the store on her way home. I’ll continue to shop here because it’s convenient and the prices are reasonable, but it’s nothing like the experience it was.

Stella in the bakery helped me. I called the bakery to order a cake for my son’s birthday. At first she couldn’t find the cake I was talking about(they have several books with pictures of cakes that you can choose from). She offered to call me back after she looked through the book to find the cake I wanted. She called me back within 30 minutes. I ordered it over the phone on a Tuesday for Saturday pickup(other bakeries need a week notice). When I came to pick it up on Saturday it was ready. It was decorated just like the picture; my son loved it! Everyone thought the cake was very good! I would definitely order cakes from here again.

I’ve up’ed to 2 stars as the carts have been good as of late. I now use walmart online shopping with good results. You get home delivery for 3.00 and their drivers bring you goods to the kitchen. I give them at least 4 stars based on using them for the last 4 weeks.

Kings was my go to supermarket because of location but they have changed so much in the last few months. No butcher but cutting meat in a off site so the quality and choice have been limited. The latest issue is that you will be hard pressed to fine poultry fresh or frozen that does not have 15% salt water added. 15% is just like stealing on top of having crap for food.

Was able to get the car windshield repaired while we shopped. Great extra service! I’ve had my windshield repaired before when a rock kicks up from the road and BOOM you have a small crack in the glass. Nice job of King Sooper having this service here for us customers. Thanks King Sooper

Not the best King Soopers for sure. I noticed they are not well stocked in several items I usually get. Almonds and peanuts are rarely in existence in their machines to make peanut and almond butter. It is great they have the machines but not if they are not usable… They have been notified of this several times but seem to not really care. What makes it worse is that if they do have the product, then the containers you use to put it are not in stock. Their sparkling water Kroger brand is consistently low or gone too. I could go on but I am sure you get the idea. Low prices on some items is nice but I wonder if it really is worth it if you consistently end up not getting what you went in for…

I went into the store to purchase fresh ground hamburger meat recently relocating from Florida. Their meat was brown which was concerning. Asking Mark behind the counter for red meat to say the least was a big deal. I requested a mgr. for help. Another Mark who portrayed himself as a mgr. claimed the meat is normal and brown being rude as well. Once I found out he wasn’t the mgr., I asked for the mgr. again… Both Mark’s were clearly disgusted making a scene finally bringing the mgr. over. You guessed it. not the mgr. but the assist. Mgr. John Gloyd. Professionally explaining the situation that I would like red meat not brown, he offered ground sirloin for the same price. Mark comes over to get the ground sirloin… completely brown inside again. Requesting red meat again, they all made such a big scene with now John having an attitude. Now let me ask you, is getting red meat really a big deal? This seemed like a pretty simple request to me. Apparently not! The way the employees were so prepared for a disagreement tells me this happens quite often. Needless to say, I haven’t been back because of these three employees complete disrespect. Even though the store is right next to where I live, I drive the extra time to get the respect a customer deserves. Oh and red meat. This apparently isn’t a big deal for the other grocery store chain. They also hand it to you with a thank you and a smile which is an added bonus!

This is a very nice store however service desk employees are always pulled away from their job to help up front leaving customers in line thinking they mean nothing. Baggers are ALWAYS squishing stuff because they don’t know how to properly bag. They are so quick to get you checked out and gone that it makes you feel too rushed and they are always forgetting to put ALL your purchased items in the cart. Head ache every time!

This King Soopers reminds me of «Cheers»: It’s where everybody knows my name, and they’re always glad I came. Everyone is really nice and glad to help whenever they can. I love that it’s open 24 hours, and especially during holidays when I need to shop for last minute ingredients. This store is über-clean, and the prices are low in comparison to other grocery chains. I am always able find what I’m looking for, including some of the newest skincare and cosmetics. King Soopers is a neighborhood staple, and I’m glad to have it around the corner.

Nice, clean and friendly. This is our neighborhood store and I really appreciate the customer service and the quality foods they offer. I have to say i also love seeing past students working here and all the great families of the neighborhood.
