Outlook Littleton

Everything I have read (especially the current reviews) are spot on. I rarely leave reviews but I feel strongly that others need to be warned before renting here.
The rent is expensive and for that price it seems that these things could be taken care of. It is so frustrating!
The pool IS (and has been for months) freezing!!! We loved the pool upon our moving in and it was so nice and fun for our kids. The new management — Alliance — is terrible. The heater broke many months ago and still they have not fixed it. Upon trying
To voice my concern the management representative was quite rude. The hot tub is and has been yellow for months. They won’t turn on the jets anymore because they claim the past company burned them out. So the hot tub now is just a pool of stagnant yellow water with no bubbles. Their answer for all is to blame the old management company which was much better than this one.
Lastly, the parking is awful and they are not proactive or concerned with fixing it.
I hear aspen grove apartments are much better!!! Go there instead!!!

Parking can be a bit rough late at night but the location and overall appeal is amazing. Lost a star for parking.

My fiancé and I were the 11^th people to move in when it was brand new (one year ago). Thank God we are buying a house and can move out of here.
The old Graystar management were some of the phoniest people I’ve ever had to deal with. I can’t stand bs’ers and Natalie was the worst. The new management hasn’t started off on the right foot as I emailed them to ask for a one-​on-​one meeting and I didn’t even get a response — nothing. As others have said — looks pretty nice from the street but beware:
firepit is broken, the community garden has never been available for use since we got here and of course now that it’s Winter it’s not being used but get this… there are 10 buildings on the property and they have 10 raised flower beds. Are they going to give each tenant a 1 inch space to «garden»? It’s laughable! We have several cabinets that are falling off the hinges… the faux wood floor has already started peeling up. Keep in mind that tenants are paying for amenities but when they are broken or not usable — how is that an amenity? Lastly, I don’t know what «rules» the community is following but our neighbors — THE ABSOLUTE WORST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER LIVED NEXT TO IN MY ENTIRE LIFE — THEY ARE IN BUILDING 10-​APARTMENT 101 — they have 3 dogs (2 Golden’s and one Mastiff — BIG dogs) 2 cats and 4 people living there — but they have people over every single night of the week.
I would suggest if you are looking to spend «luxury» rent prices — look somewhere else, this place is not it.

We lived here for a short period of time (thankfully it was short). I knew we made a mistake shortly after signing the lease. I called week after week to confirm our move-​in date would get a, «We think it will be ready in time, but we are not sure.» It wasn’t until right before move-​in that I received a call stating that our building was not finished. I found it alarming that they waited until last minute. We had to pick a different apartment and building.
Upon moving in, we had a never-​ending list of issues. Gashes in the floor, chipped granite counters, scratches and unpainted cabinets, unfinished baseboards, no racks, etc. That was just a small sample. Not to mention the place was filthy! There was dust everywhere, wood debris from construction, etc. No one bothered to even attempt to clean up. We alerted management and it seemed time and time again people came and didn’t take care of the issues. They even came in without approval, moved our stuff, and didn’t leave an entry note (we only knew because they left a hard hat in my bathroom even though they were supposedly «fixing» a scratch in the living room). By this time we were irritated and management was never «polite» about any of it. The apartments are made so cheaply and were obviously rented while they were still in construction.
Management would take days upon days to respond to emails or calls. They were very unorganized and would always fumble to come up with an answer to our questions. It was also obvious that many kids (18 or so) were living in one apartment (I would see this all throughout the complex). They would prop open the secure doors with kegs at night and would run up and down the stairs. I could hear them partying. The grounds are nice and it is great to have a gym and pool. Although, half the time technology to swipe the key into the gym was broken, so I never really got to use it (because you could only get there during business hours through the front door).

We just moved into Outlook Littleton. On the outside, everything is amazing. So many great amenities, pool year round, hot tub, gym etc. I WAS going to leave a great review but a few things have changed my mind.
1. They will do random inspections of your apartment. We haven’t lived here for one month and they have come in to do a random inspection with another planned in two days. The previous month they did garage inspections. They say it’s for better «customer service». I don’t know about you but I don’t enjoy having random people come into my place when I’m not home.
2. Parking isn’t regulated. If you get home after 6pm, you are going to have to park a couple buildings over. For the price of rent, you would think each unit would have a parking spot.
3. The material they use is cheap, make sure you thoroughly inspect the apartment before moving in. It’s brand new but it came with scratched cabinets and floors.
I’m giving it two stars for the amenities. They do a good job of keeping the place clean and they even throw small get togethers once a month. The leasing office staff is also very friendly. I don’t know if some of things going on is above their pay grade but had I known that about these things I probably would not have moved in. Some suggestions for management would be to regulate parking, put up some lighting in the pool deck area (can’t see your food if you wanna grill after 7pm) and to stop entering people’s homes!

I’ve lived at the Outlook for a couple months now. Overall I am happy with my apartment. Compared to what I’ve been told by other tenants our move in issues were easy fixes. Tenants have experienced mold, roof leaks, cars being keyed, keys that don’t work, bad wiring (you get the gist).
We enjoy living here for multiple reasons. You have a never ending coffee bar if that’s your thing. The apartment layouts are nice (open with newer appliances and energy efficient). However, the apartments aren’t as insulated or soundproof as you would think they would be for luxury living though (I can hear my neighbor sneeze). We have easy access to highways and trails. There is so much to like about Outlook, including a dog spa. Be forewarned to bring your own supplies.
The reason for three stars is because of the shottiness of the grounds and lack of rule enforcement. You can easily look around and see many landscape issues that need to be attended too. For example, the dead tree hanging behind one of the bbq’s that is in the pool. There are plenty of non green patches of grass everywhere. I do not know how they are going to fix this without laying down new grass. The «Great Lawn» near the fire pit is loaded with dog poop even though it is a no dumping area. Clearly we have some extraordinarily lazy dog owners. The dog off leash area is underwhelming. There isn’t any shade and its made of rocks. On a hot day, which we have many of, the gravel isn’t inviting to the dog or its owner.
The pool is nice but one pool for this many people can get a bit crazy. I feel sorry for the tenants who have apartments near the pool. There are always people partying late on hot days. There is also a 2 guests per tenant pool rule (yeah right). People bring guests and allow them to smoke eventhough there are a ton of kids who live here now. Parking, if you are home after 6 on a weekday good luck! When this place is fully occupied it will be much worse, especially since most renters are two car households. Lastly, I have noticed at least two residences with many younger people living with them who are not on the lease taking full advantage of the grounds. Bottom line is rules do not get enforced. There needs to be more signs with posted rules for multiple areas. Also, if we need to start fining tenants who don’t pick up after their dog I’m all for it. Last night I went to the off leash area to throw the ball around with my dog. Despite their being green bags everywhere there was still a ton of poop in the off leash area.
It is a shame because I love my apartment and Littleton in general. However, you would be surprised by the kind of people that can afford luxury living who will continue to destroy the already troubled grounds. Outlook has amazing potential BUT in two years if things keep going the way they’re going there won’t be anything luxury about it.

When I first moved in I thought this was the greatest place ever! Tons of amazing amenities, beautiful grounds, and brand new buildings. Everything is beautiful but the neighborhood isn’t safe at all.
My car has been keyed badly 6 times in the last 4 weeks. No surveillance cameras, no security guards, and their only suggestion is to purchase a garage. I really wish I could take my business elsewhere and didn’t refer friends to move in.
We also, referred a friend to move in, and they had to push back his move in date three times!
In addition we are finding many of the amenities don’t work.
After they did their s’mores party we invited a group of friends over to the complex 4 our very own smores party, turned out there fire pit doesn’t work. It was clearly very inconvenient for their manager to help us with this issue.
I’m bummed and wish I would have taken our business elsewhere.
