A 1 Smog check

Got smog done on my F150 and liked their service. Cheap rates and Done in like 10 mintues as i was rushing to work, just what I like! A fast paced workshop.
The guy was pretty friendly to me and other customers as i was waiting on my truck. I definitely recommend this place and will come back for smog for my other vehicles in future!

If you’re going to A1 Smog Test Only Center, be sure to bring your GPS and give yourself ample time as this little business is tucked away in an unassuming place which will be hard to find your first time visiting. There isn’t even a business sign on the front door (you’ll have to look for the address and the «State of California, Licensed Smog Check, Test Only» sign hanging outside the front door). With that said I don’t think that I will ever go anywhere else in Livermore for a Smog Check. I agree that the waiting room is no frills, but given the no-​nonsense, knowledgeable, quick and efficient service, you won’t have to be waiting in that room for very long. Besides, it’s more important to find a place of business that you can trust rather than finding one based on its amenities. There is a larger «30 Minute Smog Check» Center in the same business park with a larger and nicer waiting area, but that place has yet to be reviewed by any Unilocal users (which is saying a lot). Bottom line: It’s important to find mechanics you feel comfortable with and whom you can trust (as well as recommending it to others), and with this place I’ve found that.

I was very pleased with my service today. Quick, efficient and friendly.

If you have to go to a TEST ONLY station don’t wast your time and look for a better deal or for a shop closer to home. I have gone here for the past 5 years after getting tired of long tests and high prices. he will match any price or coupon and is the most honest shop in the valley. Nice waiting room with TV and DVD player. Love this place but hate having to get a smog test every 2 years.

Great job, friendly service, very quick, no appointment needed. It cost $ 50 to smog my Acura. I will be back and do recommend it. The one star off is because of the extremely funky and kind of gross waiting room. LOL
